Poe watchstone гайд

Обновлено: 02.07.2024

Watchstones are an endgame item that can be placed in the Atlas of Worlds to upgrade a region's map tiers and add new base maps to that region. Each atlas region has a citadel, which is an interface that allows socketing 4 watchstones within it. These watchstones can have various crafted modifiers, that players can add onto them using sextants. Quest watchstones drop from defeating the Conquerors, while craftable watchstones can be purchased from other players or obtained as boss drops.

1.1 Titanium, Chromium and Platinum Watchstone

The Echoes of the Atlas expansion introduces three new types of craftable Watchstones: Chromium Watchstone, Platinum Watchstone, and Titanium Watchstone. These valuable endgame items allow you to upgrade your Atlas and boost what types of rewards you find from maps. Players who are able to earn these powerful rewards will find that they are strictly better than regular Watchstones: they can be traded, don't expire with use, and their benefits can stack. They are found quite late in your progression through the Atlas. The eventual goal is that you replace all of your base quest item Watchstones with the new craftable ones over time, as you upgrade your atlas.

1.2 Watchstone Craft & Modifiers

Like flasks, watchstones can only be normal or magic. You can't find or craft rare Watchstones.

Each of these three types of new watchstone has its own special mod pool, but there's also a shared mod pool that they all draw from. Because you can have up to four watchstones socketed in a region, up to eight mods can affect that region and some quite large bonuses to specific content can be stacked.

When combined with the Atlas Passive Trees, these really allow you to optimise what content you encounter, and the rewards from that content.

Watchstones are Atlas Region Upgrade Item for the Atlas of Worlds system. In which, some of them are classified as quest items and not tradeable. They were introduced in the Conquerors of the Atlas expansion. They are used to upgrade a region’s map tiers and add new map bases. 32 non-unique Watchstones can be collected from the Atlas.

PoE Watchstones Strategy

  1. For each zone on your atlas for the first time, after you kill the map boss there is a chance a portal may appear granting you access to the watchtower for that zone. The first 4 Conquerors only spawn in the far NE, NW, SE, SW corner zones so focus on trying to get to those first.
  2. Farm maps in that zone until the Exile appears (they will show up

On moving up map tiers:

You can do any zone you like, if you have one zone higher than the others all the highest map drops will come from that zone, you just need to get close enough in level with one of your existing maps that something valid could drop.

For example, you should already have some maps in your completion pool from doing them with no stones, you just have to roll map drops high enough for the drop to match something in the new pool.

I.e. you run your 1–4 maps, upgrade to 5–9 with one stone, you’ll start getting 5s of those maps if you kill elites/bosses in your old T3/4s etc. If you “roll” 1–4 on your map drop you’ll get something from one of the other 1–4 zones, but every 5+ roll will be a map from your newly upgraded zone.

How to upgrade your Atlas

I’m seeing a lot of confusion about how to upgrade your Atlas, with some of us running hundreds of maps and not successfully moving the quest along. The game doesn’t really provide that clear of instructions on how to go about it, so I figured i would post a quick guide.

Step 1: Complete maps in the four corner quadrants of your Atlas until you get influence.

The four corner quadrants are the areas with a green checkmark. Do them until you see influence, like in my bottom left quadrant in the screnshot. You will know it is influenced when the Atlas area changes color (red, green, etc..).

Step 2: Do random maps that are inside of the influenced quadrant.

To progress the quest you now must do maps inside the influenced quadrant. You need to do 3 maps where your Elderslayer is present, which are random. This means you can not spam the same map over and over, but instead must mix up which you do (for example, mine were in Park -> Toxic Sewers -> Moon Temple). There will be special abilities and mobs present, with the Elderslayer talking randomly, if you are in one where he is present. Find him successfully in 3 maps and you will move on to the next step.

Step 3: Talk to Officer Kirac.

After completing the 3 maps the Elderslayer is in, you must now talk to Officer Kirac in your hideout to progress the quest. After speaking with him you should have a Citadel on your Atlas, shown below.

Now on to the next step…

Step 4: Talk to Zana.

Now talk to Zana, and you should see a new option to “Travel to x Citadel”, shown above. Clicking this option opens up new portals to a map from the influenced quadrant, which you will clear like a normal map. After killing the final boss, a new portal will open, shown below.

Step 5: Kill the Elderslayer.

You will now be in an arena, simply kill the Elderslayer to progress.

Step 6: Loot the Watchstone.

Step 7: Socket the Watchstone.

Congrats, you’ve successfully upgraded a section of your atlas! Now on to the final step…

Watchstones are quest items for the Atlas of Worlds system. There are 32 Watchstones in total. It is introduced in Conquerors of the Atlas expansion.

How to use Watchstones

By inserting the Watchstones into the altar of the citadel of a region, Map Tier will be increased. For example Beach Map has tiers 1, 4, 8, 10 and 14 depends on how many Watchstones inserted in that region. unique Watchstones provides additional modifier to the Atlas.

Moreover, if a full set of Watchstones (4 different colours, can be Watchstones that obtained from different regions) is inserted into one region, the Awakening Level of the Atlas will be increased by 1. Since there is 8 sets of Watchstones , the highest possible level of the Awakening Level will be 8.

Crimson Watchstone is a Watchstone.

How to get a watchstone

The Atlas is divided into 8 regions. Each region of the Atlas has 4 Watchstones in different colours, corresponding to 4 bosses:

Boss Colour Watchstone
Al-Hezmin, the Hunter Green
Viridian Watchstone
Baran, the Crusader Red
Crimson Watchstone
Drox, the Warlord Yellow
Golden Watchstone
Veritania, the Redeemer Blue
Cobalt Watchstone

Players are required to beat the bosses in their citadels of that region in order to acquire the Watchstones. However, if the Watchstone of that region was acquired already, beating the same boss again will not give the second copy of the Watchstone of that region.

Additionally, the final end-game boss, Sirus, Awakener of Worlds, drops unique Ivory Watchstone.

Oh cool! Thanks! I still have no idea what is going on.

Run maps in the outer 4 regions. Take the watchstones you get (1 per region, so 4 in total) and socket 1 in each of the 4 middle regions.

Then run the maps in the middle. Get the 4 watchstones there. Socket 1 in each of the outer 4 regions.

Then Run the outer regions, when you get the watchstones put them in the middle. Then run the middle. Repeat this inner/outer cycle until you get them all.

If I socketed my Watchstones, did I fuck every thing up?

If I understand it correctly, you can always unsocket them unless the influence appears in that area. If the unfluence appears, you just need 3 maps from that areas that have the same tier as maps on your atlas. Then you get a new watchstone and can unsocket your other watchstones from that area again.

But you can unsocket your watchstones and the maps revert back to base (yellow go back to white).

Just take the stones out and try them somewhere else.

Why is every damn explanation more confusing than the last.

By restricting each of the first areas to specific watchstone levels, you are ensuring that your maps will follow a nice trend, you should NOT run maps in a higher tier zone UNTIL you get all 4 stones from one area. The first 4 come from corners alone, then after that 1 stone must be slotted for the next 4, followed by 2, then 3, etc.
