The Domination Rex Egg is an egg in ARK Additions.
Overview [ ]
Domination Rex Eggs can be crafted with artifacts, tributes, and Element.
After an egg has been crafted, it can be hatched into a baby Domination Rex.

The Domination Rex also called Indominus Rex is a dinosaur in ARK Additions.

Overview [ ]
Behavior [ ]
The Domination Rex attacks everyone and everything when it is maturing, even the survivor who imprinted on it.
Appearance [ ]
The Domination Rex is white and similar in appearance to a Rex. However, its arms are a lot larger than those of the Rex, and sport four large claws. The Domination Rex also has the ability to camoflauge.
Color Scheme and Regions [ ]
The Domination Rex always spawns with the same color scheme and has no color regions.
This means it is currently impossible to make alterations to the Domination Rex's colors.

This section describes how to fight against the Domination Rex.
General [ ]
The Domination Rex is a formidable opponent in battle. An imprinted and leveled Domination Rex can prove quite dangerous, and in some situations, deadly. Its ability to camouflage similar to a Rock Drake coupled with its Movement Speed allows it to easily ambush enemies. The Domination Rex can also utilize its pin ability to instantly kill smaller creatures.
Strategy [ ]
The use of a leveled Giganotosaurus, a well bred Rex, or a Magmasaur may prove essential in the defeat of a Domination Rex. Using a Brachiosaurus is also a viable method, as their mega stomp attack can output large amounts of damage.
Weaponry [ ]
Taking down a Domination Rex is not an easy feat. A lone survivor may find it beneficial to carry a Tek Rifle or a Tek Railgun. Since a Tek Railgun can deal heavy amounts of damage to a single creature, it is the ideal choice for killing a Domination Rex. The survivor should sufficiently distance themselves from the Domination Rex in order to ensure that the Domination Rex is not able to attack. Other weapons that can be utilized against a Domination Rex include an Assault Rifle or a Fabricated Sniper Rifle.
Dangers [ ]
The Domination Rex possesses a large Health pool and powerful Melee Damage, as well as camouflage and high Movement Speed.
Weakness [ ]
When camouflaged, the Domination Rex is visible through the dust clouds it leaves behind when moving. Although they can turn on survivors and creatures while they are growing, they are significantly easier to deal with.
Taming [ ]
The Domination Rex cannot be found in the wild. To tame one, the survivor must engineer a [[File:|20x20px|class=itemlink|alt=|link=Mod:ARK Additions/Domination Rex Egg]] Domination Rex Egg and raise the Domination Rex from birth.

- This key triggers a simple bite, which is capable of damaging Stone-tier structures. - This key triggers a claw slash, which hits twice, pierces armor, and can harvest Thatch and Wood. Holding will activate a pin attempt, and if successful, the pinned creature will be killed instantly.
- C - This key activates Domination Rex camouflage, which renders the Domination Rex and its rider invisible.
- Ctrl - This key triggers a roar.
Roles [ ]
Boss Army - Due to their Health, Melee Damage, and Apex Fighter buff, Domination Rexes are one of the best creatures that a survivor can bring to a boss battle.
Travel Mount - The Domination Rex is one of the best creatures to travel on, as it possesses decent Movement Speed, Stamina, Melee Damage, and the ability to become camouflaged.
Harvester - Although not as effective as more traditional methods, the Domination Rex can harvest most resources with its array of attacks. This could prove useful if the survivor does not have access to any other effective means to do so, such as an Ankylosaurus or Therizinosaur.
Pinner - The Domination Rex can make quick work of most smaller creatures, easily pinning them and then proceeding to kill them. Additionally, a successful pin grants the Domination Rex with the Rapid Regeneration buff. Below is a list of every creature that can be instantly killed by the Domination Rex's pin ability.
Apex Fighter - When in the presence of a formidable foe, such as a Titanosaur, the Domination Rex receives the Apex Fighter buff, enabling it to deal more Melee Damage as well as receiving less incoming damage. Below is a list of all creatures that trigger the Domination Rex's Apex Fighter buff.
The Domination Rex is a very unique addition. it doesn't spawn in the wild. To acquire or even see a Dominator, you have to engineer a Domination Rex Egg, which can be learned at level 100. The Egg requires some difficult materials to obtain, so don't expect an easy Domination Rex!
Once you have your baby Dominator, be careful! Baby Dominators, all the way to adulthood have a tendency to get very grumpy, and could potentially attack you or your tames at any moment, so don't raise a dominator in the company of others!. Once fully grown, Dominators are one of the most powerful mounts in the game, with a multitude of abilities, such as a resistance to Giga's bleed, and a buff against boss enemies and alphas!
Left-Click is a Bite attack, which can damage stone
Right-Click is a claw slashing attack, which hits twice and does pierce. As a random added bonus, it can gather wood and thatch with this move.
Holding Right-Click starts a pin attempt. If the Dominator succesfully pins a creature within its grab weight threshhold, it will proceed to outright kill that creature. Successfully performing a pin also grants the Dominator a considerable healing buff!
C Key activates Domination Rex Camo, which acts basically identical to Rock Drake Camo, with all the same benefits!
Left Control is a Dominator Roar. This doesn't do anything, but looks really cool, and can be used while moving!
Domination Rex has several perks in addition to its moveset:
Domination Rex grants a Hypothermal and Hypertheraml Insulation buff to its rider.
Domination Rex is immune to several damage types, such as Giga's gnash/bleed effect, Allo/Deinosuchus gash, and bleeding. All variants are also immune to Radiation damage.
Domination Rex gets a buff when it detects the presence of powerful creatures (bosses, alphas, and raid dinos). When this occurs, the Dominator gets a 15% damage increase, and a small increase to resistance! This makes Dominators' incredibly useful to have in boss fights, or in battling alphas.
There are 5 Domination variants total, one for each map. Each Egg has its own requirements for crafting. The general rule for a Domination Rex Egg is:

Domination Rex now has 3 Costumes exclusive to Genesis Pt.1, that can be equipped to ANY Domination Rex, and can also be colored! These are unlocked at Level 100 and are crafted with 5 Element each.
Domination Rex has a saddle, but it's not required to be ridden.
IMPORTANT! There is currently a bug with the camouflage, where it doesnt make the Dominator disappear if you log out/relog into a SP game. The camouflage still works though, it's only a visual bug, and doesn't seem to happen on servers. At the moment I haven't yet figured out a fix for this.
