Go to game's system folder, e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\POSTAL2Complete\System. This fix requires editing two files in that directory, Postal2.ini and User.ini.

Postal2.ini: For 16:9 @ 1920•1080, replace all X and Y specs with native, e.g., all "1024" replaced with "1920" and all "768" replaced with "1080" for 8:5 @ 1024•768 displays.

User.ini: Find "DesiredFOV=" and "DefaultFOV=", replacing default values of 85 with 101.409630521.

Ensure that you have made backups of the originals before editing them.

EDIT NOTE: After I edited my INI files I saw, following suggestion by RWS dev, that the options for my native res was present. I cannot explain why it wasn't there before, but it wasn't. Now it is.

I've been studying and administering computers since 1984, and I've seen lots of stuff that was that shouldn't have been. "Computers don't do that" was a frequent response of lab techs, and when I took them to my workstation and reproduced the error, thay'd say, "Um, I don't understand—it's not supposed to DO that!" Just because something's not SUPPOSED to happen doesn't mean that it won't and doesn't.

You can go to steamapps\common\Postal2Complete\System\ folder, open Postal2.ini with a Notepad and look for this section:

Just set StartupFullscreen= to True like I did above, and set the ViewportX and Y to your desktop resolution so for ex if you would like to play on 1920x1080, change the two lines so they look like this:

Save the changes and now every time you launch P2, it should keep the resolution settings

Did you try changing the resolution in Postal2.ini file? If not, try this:

YourDrive:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\POSTAL2Complete\System

Then open the 'Postal2.ini' file and find this section:

To your native resolution of your desktop, which in your case would be FullscreenViewportX=1920
FullscreenViewportY=1080

25 сен. 2015 в 4:48 I tried that but when looking into resolution in settings, it's still default resolution. (can't remember it)

I've had similar problem with other games on my old machine. Try this:

Right click on Postal2.exe located in steamapps/common/Postal2Complete/System, go to 'Properties'. Next, click on the 'Compatibility' tab, and tick the box where it says 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'. Click 'Apply' and see if you'll be able to change the resolution.

Все вопросы только сюда. Но имей в виду, мой дорогой индивид, что твои шансы на получение ответа велики только тогда, когда ты описываешь свою проблему детально. Например, игра вылетела с ошибкой? Тогда выложи скриншот ошибки, или скопируй ее текст сюда.
Также не забывай указывать информацию о том, лицензия это, или пиратка; Complete версия, или старая, и так далее.

подсирает фпс становится 15-18 на улице. А в зданиях всё ок

Wori, поздравляю, вы играете в неоптимизированное инди-говно, которое даже в 2016 умудряется лагать.
У вас есть два выхода:
- Смириться
- Убавить настройки производительности (обратить особое внимания на дым - поставить где-то 4-5, и анизотропную фильтрацию - на 4).

У меня Windows 10 и игра (версия GOG) вылетает при попытке развернуть из оконного режима и вылет происходит при нажатии на Новую игру.

Колян, нет, а режим совместимости ставить с семеркой или XP?

Мырзабек, на какой еще шедевр? На комплит версию? Крайне не советую.

Мырзабек, потому что он порнушит игру. Русификатор под эту версию никто не обновлял, и потому новые файлы заменяются старыми. Отсюда может выйти еще больше глюков, но и то не факт.
Гуглишь "postal 2 русификатор" и открываешь ссылку, ведущую в стим.

Стимовская версия. По скидке куплена, лол.
Не запускается, выдает ошибку.

Проверяла целостность кэша, выключала антивирус, перезагружала ноут — ничего нового.
Первый отлично работает, с этим не знаю что :С
Помогите, обидно очень.
