Получил сегодня бесплатно в эпик геймс, зарегестрировался на офф сайте Frontier, при входе (в лаунчере игры) попросили написать код, отправленный на мой гмаил. Написал (не копировал), пишет:" купите/перекупите игру для продолжения". Захожу опять на офф сайт, а об эпиках ни слова, только о стим. Что делать? Как поиграть?
Похожая ерунда после регистрации войти не мог, тогда привязал аккаунт эпик к игре, теперь при запуске лаунчер пишет - обновите игру, проверьте в своей библиотеке. Проверял, ничего не обновляется и не запускается. Почитал на сайте там говорят не про игру а про бесплатное дополнение, но вряд ли бы раздавали просто дополнение. Может техработы какие или наплыв большой народа.
Прошло минут 20 и всё заработало.
просто нужно было подождать, с утра у меня всё запускается (правда, теперь у меня другая ошибка, ну да ладно)

Пробовал перезагружать комп и отключал антивирус, какие еще танцы с бубном нужно сделать и почему не пускает в игру.

Как раз таки при создании аккаунта сказано что нужно активировать ключ, и даже есть поле для ввода ключа. У тебя видимо не только кривые руки, а ещё и зрение плохое.
Ты до кода верицикации должен дойти только после создания аккаунта и регистрации ключа. Но видимо многие люди избранные.

Then I would recommended finding a official way to contact the developers and ask there.
You can't just buy this game on Steam and click play. You need a account at Frontier as well. They also send you a code to your email which will allow you to log into the game.
Also if you bought the game from a scam site then I have no sympathy for you. Either buy the game from Steam or Frontier Developments.

Responses like these make me just wanna get my Steam refund and not even bother trying to solve the issue.

They also send you a code to your email which will allow you to log into the game.That's not how it worked for me. You only need to link your Steam account to your Frontier account, no codes or such required. Once you linked your accounts you then start the launcher and things should work. But the registration process is seriously flawed, after I had linked my account (which wasn't easy!) I still couldn't play at first. Only after 20 or so minutes did everything simply start to work automagically.
Also. definitely beware not to use the generated icon but start the game from the Steam library at first (so: access your library using the Steam client and use the launch option there). If you don't then that too can interfere with the authentication process.

I tried doing steam log in in base game launcher but it just freezes the launcher.
