Появления [ ]
Крысы бывают двух цветов: чёрные и коричневые. Также имеется неиспользованная модель альбиноса.
Transport [ ]
Tamed Rats can be placed on their owner's head or shoulder by interacting while sneaking. Up to three rats can ride on a player. To remove a rat, players can sneak and punch into the air with an empty hand. Right-clicking a cage with a rat on your head will deposit the rat in the cage, and right-clicking on the cage block the rat is in will release it. Only the rat's owner can carry it or place it in a cage.
A Rat Sack can be crafted to transport multiple rats and itemize them.
Breeding [ ]
Two rats of opposite sexes will breed when placed inside a Rat Cage decorated with a Rat Breeding Lantern. When bred, rats will produce 1-3 pinkies, which take a day to become adults. Breeding rats can result in new domestic color morphs like white, hooded, cream and albino, among others.
Rat Breeding Lanterns can only breed one pair of rats per day.
Rat cages which are placed next to each other are counted as a single cage and thus can only breed 1 pair of rats per day no matter the number of lanterns or rats in the cage.(needs more thorough testing)
Specialization [ ]
There is a variety of headgear that can be applied to a rat. Apart from vanilla helmets, pumpkins and skulls, there are 9 special hats and masks that rats can wear. A rat gets armor points from its helmet.
Most specialization of rats comes from Rat Upgrades. These give rats specific stats or abilities, and there are currently 50 rat upgrades available.

Rat Inventory [ ]
The rat menu GUI
Tamed rats have an inventory that can be accessed by interacting on them with most items or an empty hand.
In this inventory, the player can change the helmet and banner the rat is wearing, change the rat's 3 equipped upgrades, and the item held in the rat's hands or mouth. More importantly, the player can cycle through rat commands by pressing the arrows to the right. The current status of the rat and its gender are also displayed.
The rats can be dyed by right clicking on them with a dye.

Rat's Mischief - приручение крысы [1.17.1] [1.16.5]
Мод Rat's Mischief - добавит в игру нового моба - крысу, ее можно приручить и она (особенно толпой) будет вам очень полезна. Мод похож на Rats, но попроще и пока разрабатывается для загрузчика Fabric.
В мире вы сможете найти крыс, это достаточно милые создания с прикольными анимациями движения. Приручите крыс покормив их едой, например морковкой, после они будут вашими питомцами, аналогично собаке они будут двигаться за вами и атаковать ваших врагов, либо мобов которых атакуете вы.
Крысы очень полезны, если приручить штук 10, то они очень быстро убивают любых мобов, а после они приносят вам весь лут который найдут. Мод так же добавляет 3 посоха, у них нет крафта, но они позволяют собирать урожай при помощи крыс, добывать простые блоки и размножить животных. Для удобства переноски и сохранения крыс в моде есть 3 вида мешочков, в них можно собирать крыс, а после выпускать. (что бы не ловить крыс, можно нажать Shift + ПКМ).
Команды
Существо будет хаотично передвигаться, повторяя повадки сородичей.
Примет одно положение и не будет двигаться.
Крыса будет передвигаться за игроком.
Ищет в радиусе действия семена и зрелые культуры для урожая. Сырный посох поможет настроить максимальное количество семян в инвентаре.
Атакует опасных мобов. Без улучшений существо достаточно слабое, поэтому его нужно улучшать.
Поведение [ ]
Крысы спаунятся в тускло освещенных областях, на солнце не горят. Они бесцельно блуждают по местности и время от времени делают громкие скрипы. Крысы избегают высоких скал, чтобы избежать получения урона от падения, хотя они склонны игнорировать это, когда в погоне за игроком. Крысы обычно избегают воды.
Крысы будут атаковать игрока в радиусе 12 блоков, если уровень освещенности падает до 7 или менее или если она спровоцирована на более высоких уровнях освещенности и остается нейтральным, если уровень освещенности выше. Как дикие волки и свинозомби, крысы будут атаковать игрока, если тот напал на одного из них. Не следует путать мышь с крысой, хотя их можно различать по размерам, так как крысы больше, чем мыши.

Rats are animals that spawn in dark places in the Overworld or on Garbage Blocks/Compressed Garbage Blocks. They are the main focus of Rats.
Rats drop experience points, but occasionally, they can drop Rat Skulls (rare chance) or their Paws.

Houses [ ]
You can build cages for rats. Interacting while sneaking on a decoration in a cage will remove it. Some of the decorations that you can place in rat cages are, houses, tunnels, love lights, seed bowl, water bottle and the rat hammock. You can connect two rat cages by placing them next to each other or putting rat tubes between the cages.

Как действовать против крыс?
- Для защиты необходимо создавать ловушки для мобов.
- Для борьбы с грызунами и их приручения используется сыр.
Приручить диких мобов из мода Rats можно загнав их в угол, а затем бросить сыр на землю. После 10-15 кормлений животное довериться и станет подчиняться. Можно будет носить крысу на голове или плече, станет доступна информация и инвентарь моба. Использовать ее можно для выполнения различных задач.
Разведение
- Для разведения крыс необходимо создать специальную клетку
- Крысы разных полов могут давать в день от 1 до 5 новых особей.
Будьте осторожны при взаимодействии с крысами (Rats). Некоторые из них могут переносить смертельные болезни. Отличить переносчиков легко – ярко-красные глаза и зеленая шерсть.

Мод Rats – дополнение для Майнкрафт, которое добавляет в игру новых уникальных мобов – крыс. Станет доступен интересный предмет – Сырный посох, используя который можно управлять существом.
Крыс в Майнкрафте можно встретить исключительно ночью в надземном мире. Существа боятся игроков, при встрече убегают. Главным минусом является то, что они грызут деревянные стены и крадут еду из сундуков, расположенных в постройках. Крысы уничтожают урожай и легко пробираются через двери и заборы.
Wild Behavior [ ]
Wild rats are considered voracious pests that seek to eat as much as possible. They will target any items they consider edible, which they will try and eat. Rats will seek out planted crops, which they will break and consume. Placing food items in chests does not provide much protection, as rats will steal items from chests, occasionally leaving behind Contaminated Food, and will dig through any wooden walls to create Rat Holes.
In addition to their thievery, wild rats will also flee players when seen or when stealing items. Rats will not flee from a player wearing a Piper Hat.
In order to thwart rodent infestations, players can tame cats, which rats naturally fear, as well as craft Rat Traps to bait and kill the rodents.
Rats will only squeak when their health is below 50%, when they are hurt, or when they die.
Taming [ ]

Taming a rat is considered difficult as they actively try and avoid players. It is impossible to tame a Plague Rat, but a normal Rat is tamed using Cheese. Like other food items, rats will eat cheese items that are thrown on the floor. However, wild rats have a trust variable that increases with each feeding of cheese. As the rat slowly trusts the player it will not flee as fast or far, and by the time it has had 10 cheese, it will trust the player enough not to flee. Once the rat has been fed cheese 10 times, each additional feeding will have a 33% chance of taming the rat. It can take up to 15 times to tame a rat. Rats are tamed when they make heart particles and can be interacted with.
Cheese items from other mods can be used as well.
Possible difficulty while trying to tame a rat:
In some modpacks, rats will only be tamed by cheese dropped one-by-one from your hotbar, using the eject keybind (default Q). Dropping any amount of cheese from your inventory may result in the rat consuming all the cheese at once but not raising the trust variable or giving off taming particle effects. (Tested on MCEternal and All The Mods 6).
Patrol [ ]
Patrols can be made using the Rat Patrol Staff. Patrolling rats will "fight" any monsters they encounter.
Currently, this feature is very buggy and it is highly advised not to be used, due to: Potential loss of Rat when patrolling nodes are set, Mobs barging into your base because you didn't know that the Rat doesn't actually fight the mobs, Death of Rat etc.

Rat Commands [ ]
Rats have a variety of commands that can be changed in their menu, or through the use of a Rat Flute. They are as follows:
- Wander - The rat will mill around aimlessly like most vanilla creatures. Note that the rat will still defend its owner while under this command.
- Stay Here - The rat will slouch upwards and sit, not moving at all and not following any other tasks.
- Follow Me - The rat will follow the owner like a Wolf, and defend the owner from attacks.
- Hunt Prey - The rat will target any animals and monsters in the area and attack them. Rats will not attack baby mobs.
- Gather Items - The rat will pick up any items on the floor.

- Harvest - The rat will break grass blocks and crops and pick up the drops. Some upgrades, like the Rat Upgrade: Miner, Rat Upgrade: Planter and Rat Upgrade: Fisherman override this command.
- Transport Items - The rat will carry items from a pickup container (like a chest) and move them to a deposit container.
Note: For the Hunt Prey, Gather Items, Harvest and Transport Items commands, players can use a Cheese Staff on containers to designate them as pick up and drop off locations.
