8 digit number comes from the lanes in the bowling alley

@raasti look the numbers from the library and use only A, B, C, D on the box in U

raasti go to H and click on the books on shelf middle of room for clue. WHERE IS THE PURPLE KEY.

purple key was in the dirt, took me forever to find the hot spot, but still love these games

However, I ran across this site yesterday and immediately thought of Self Defiant.

I know, Zoe. I have wandered around and finally found the red key, opened the door, put the bowling ball on the organ and got a very useful gem. I have not seen any candle or candles that need to be lit and my break is almost over. It is just too much for my last remaining brain cell. I may POP over here tomorrow and see if there are more comments. At least I can get this far quickly and get stuck looking for candles. :-D

Oh and P.S. Thanks Self Defiant for another lovely game. I know it will get better if I can ever light my candles.

I just went back and see that it is about an inch away from the left edge of the game, right in the middle of the screen, if that helps.

I came back. It is REALLY hard to "abandon" a Self Defiant game. I found the candles. I thought it was a blank wall. I moused over the spot you said an TA DA a little hand icon appeared and click - miracle of miracles - CANDLES - two of them. I lit those things and FINALLY - the Shop that sells only 3 things. I bought two of those things right then and there.

Halallua - I finished the GAME! Thanks Zoe for not "abandoning" me! :-D

Now I would not be a good EG24 "member" if I did not help a fellow gamer in distress.

I had to leave for quite a while. but finally did escape! YEA. And Thanks for all the great hints and help @everyone!

I wish that you, Selfdefiant, would make new games. You have the talent, but this one is the same as the other 100 games you have made. I liked them, but at number 20 I had to quit:-)

ASYLUM Z by Selfdefiant

This is my first one of these so please be gentle.

You start in a hallway. the EXIT is behind you.
You need a jar to collect the orbs, so.
Go up.

Click on the red cabinet for a LIGHTER.
Ahead is the SILVER KEY DOOR.
Go right.

Note the vent (lower left) that is screwed shut.
Right is the GOLD KEY DOOR.
Go up.

Pick up the SACRED JAR to hold your orbs.
Ahead is the GREEN KEY DOOR.
Go right.

Pick up SCREWDRIVER from the table on the left.
Go left, down, left, and right.

Room F
------
(Bowling Alley)
Note the numbers above the lanes in the bowling alley: 24, 17, 26, 12.
Pick up the bowling bowl.
Go left twice.

Right is the RED KEY DOOR.
Go up.

Open the case on the floor with screwdriver for a RED KEY.
Take the paper with a color hint from the table.
Click on the bookshelf in the middle for a closer view.
Note books with card suits (CDSH).
Note labels on the shelves (A-9, B-7, C-3, D-10).
Go down and use RED KEY on the left door.

Collect orbs and go left.

Click on the greay box on the pew on the right.
Enter numbers from bowling alley for BLUE GEM.
Go up.

Place bowling ball on the stand on top of organ for ALCOHOL.
Fill lighter with alcohol.
Go down.

Room B
------
(Church)
Click on the wooden panel on the left wall.
Light both candles and clisk on the fleur de lis.

Use screwdriver on the vent for a BLUE GEM.
Go to P.

Use green key to go to T.

Click on curtain on stage for "Nothing on the screen."
Go right.

Click on the grey box under the chair.
Set the dials according to the hint from the library (A==9, B=7, etc. ) for a GREEN GEM.
Note the colored dots on the top shelf.
Move each bottle to put it under the color indicated on the paper hint (red bottle goes under green dot, etc. ) for a SILVER KEY.
Go to I.

Use silver key to go to O.

Collect knife on the bottom right.
Go left to M.

Click on the dirt below coffins several times for the PURPLE KEY.
Go to S.

Get OLD FUSE from the shelf.
Go to R.

Note sign on BLUE KEY DOOR that says "CRUDE."
Go to W.

Use purple key on right door.

Put fuse into projector to turn it on.
Collect FLASHLIGHT from shelf on the right.
Go to Y.

Click on the box on the floor.
Enter the letters using an anagram of the sign in P (spCoiUleRrspEoiDler) for a BLUE KEY.
Go to R and open the door to V.

Use knife on suitcase label for a GOLD KEY.
Go to J and open door to K.

Note clue on windows.
Go right to I

Click on pipes to zoom in.
Set the valves to match the levels on the windows clue to get a RED GEM.
Go to D.

Use flashlight (lower left) to get WHITE GEM.
Go to R.

Use flashlight (lower left) to get PINK GEM.
Go to T.

Click on screen to to see CARDS HINT.
Go to H.

I am with you all - what is with the picture in H? Red herring?

And why we cannot take the full disk ?

I even tried using the lighter on the original note provided thinking maybe there was hidden ink.. but nope

I fixed the amulet, I made a change at the last minute not knowing it would do this. You should be able to refresh and have it saved. Sorry folks!

If you click on the completed round amulet it tells you to place something on it. Probably the gem necklace once all the jewels are set in.
