Rimworld rimatomics гайд

Usually power grid is the issue.
And while the "manual" says otherwise, i have had problems if the manned control station and the Punisher are on separate power grids.

Strangely enough, it is always the Punisher that acts up. I much prefer the Marauders, they are easier to handle , more useful, and less temperamental.

Punisher I only use for its cross-map artillery function. (you know you can hit an enemy base on the world map with them?) Hahah yeah, the Punisher is just a placeholder until I can get my warcrime-sullied hands on the devastating Marauder! But the cross-map capabilities of the Punisher are dearly welcomed when my colonists are out kicking ass on the field. It was just quite unfortunate to miss out on the extra firepower when it was direly needed.

Next time, consider just about every game that uses mods, has a subforum for discussing them, "buddy". Furthermore, you're more likely to get help in the proper place. Sorry, YOUR laziness simply is not my fault or problem; lucky for you, some other folks took pity on you.

Soo, you claim that my "laziness" is none of your business, yet you chose to take part in this thread. I am so terribly humbled that I am being "pitied" for asking a question.

I grabbed Rimatomics because the idea of a Fallout-esque base appealed and I like the idea of the ICBM launcher.

Is there a guide somewhere?

The closest I could find was the blurb on the page:

Go to the rimatomics tab in the normal research menu, you will see a single project, once this is complete you can build the special Rimatomics research bench, you can then access the special Rimatomics research screen via the main button next to standard research, or via the tab when clicked on a rimatomics research bench.

The research projects act as a walk through for building reactors and energy weapons

In the same boat, don’t particularly see the fun in “figure it out” well no. I’ve just spent hours of actual time in getting my base set up, I don’t want to die because “lol sucks to be you”

But i can say few thing in warning.

It will take some time and resources before you get any benefits. Prepare a decent stock of steel, components, prepare for increased energy consumption. And you will need some uranium and advanced components.

Skilled crafter are required. You need 12 crafting skill for crafting some vital components.

Radiation is not much of concern. If you will not ask one single hauler to carry radioactive wastes without stopping and without any protection then everything is fine. Few things are radioactive, radiation range is low and radiation stacking rate is low.

Boom, you now have a nuclear reactor. All this is explained as you go down the research tree, other than fuel rods and turbine blades. Nuclear warheads come after your reactor has been running for a while in game, it will take a loooong time for your fuel rods to become processible. ICBMS are a long term goal, focus on the anti mortar defence and the long ranged Canon, those are all cool.

Rimatomics adds nuclear power and energy weapons, and a custom research system guides you step by step through most of the features, with a few details being left for you to figure out. The nuclear power system scales from kilowatts to megawatts, with options for combinations of different types of cooling systems, turbines and reactor cores - plus upgrades. To make use of such massive amounts of power, an assortment of energy weapons has been added, microwave area denial systems, tesla coils, high energy lasers, railguns, anti mortar systems, threat detection, drop pod scramblers, many types of upgrade modules, and nuclear weapons.
