Helps me ALOT

This game is so beautiful, not only with the cute cartoon style of the game, but the rain sounds, the little tings and bings when you click things, I lowkey really like how you progress slowly in the game, helps you be patient with others and I feel like he’s my little buddy, I’m helping him get from a low place to become the best version of him he can be, I love just talking to him every now and then, after school or when I am bored I go on the game and it stops me from my overwhelming thoughts, it is so beautiful and I love it, my only request is possibly an option for pets in the future or similiar things, when they want hot food, sweet things, I can give the character snacks, possible for a little more decoration, (maybe go to the market to get food once at a higher level?), can there be an easier way to get blue drops? I am always really low on them. I would also like to add, can there be a thing where you can friend people? Like your friends in real life can have their little guys as buddies, and you can give gifts. This game makes me happy about the little things, like when the character looks up, or I find an airplane, very heartwarming and calming

Cute little game

This is so adorable!! I love the graphics, I love the story, I love getting to know my little depressed friend. I love being able to get a fish, walk through a forest, go into the city, etc. I also actually love how you can’t just buy more hearts or water, showing that it takes time and patience, not money, to help a depressed friend get better. The one thing I’d ask, though, is if the prices of some things could be reduced? And I mean repeatable things like watering the plant, or being able to take walks. I think as you get more familiar with your person, or the more often you do it, the less hearts it should cost! Since that’s how it would kind of work in real life, the more you get familiar, the easier it gets to do actions. Other things like furniture and food make sense though! So far, I’m on familiarity level 6! It’s definitely taken me some time to get here, but I love that I can’t just “grind it out” or rush through it. I’m able to really appreciate all the small details and everything. Very cute game and totally worth everything. I hope the developer team makes more sweet games like this!

Relaxing

I usually can’t play games on my phone because I have spurts where I play everyday and other times I can go a full month without even opening it. I’ve been searching for idle games and this is the perfect one. I don’t get bored, but I also don’t feel like if I don’t play, that the friend will die. It’s also a nice mix between decoration apps and get to know people apps. I very much appreciate that the only way to advance is to play and get to know your friend instead of having the option to buy mass amounts of water or hearts. It makes the game feel more genuine and it is more exciting when you unlock something new. Can be a little hard at first, but just like getting to know someone, it takes some time. I’d say I’ve had the game for a little over 2 weeks, and I’ve unlocked quite a bit. The key is consistency. This is the first real game where I haven’t been visiting in spurts and I love the game so much!

Simply Wholesome

So I downloaded the game because of interest and boredom and was like, why not. First time playing was interesting and after a while I was getting frustrated at how slow everything took and how it felt like I was barely progressing. Definitely was about to delete but then I stopped and realized that maybe that’s the lesson. A depressed friend just doesn’t suddenly become better, it takes tons of time. So, after guilt tripping myself and telling myself I’ll keep it, I kept playing. Now I come back just to make sure my little friend is doing well and find the game really relaxing. The biggest issues to me is just the grammar issues and how I sometimes don’t exactly understand what little bud is saying but that’s really it. I like the grind that needs to happen and how more things become unlocked over time. So yea, definitely a game of patience but I think it’s worth it.

Totally enjoying

I love playing this game. The illustration and the animation is simple yet mesmerizing, relaxing, and pleasing. I enjoy the music and the sound effects. I look forward to playing this game a few times a day and helping my sweet friend learn and grow in his small, yet ever expanding world. I find myself wondering about him and wanting to help him meet his needs, wants, and goals. I also find that is helps me take care of me in a small way. Not just because it is a relaxing, calm, kind game. It helps me to remember to take care of myself. As I’m asking myself if my lonely friend has eaten lately, or slept well, or been for a walk I find that I also ask myself these questions about myself. I remember to take time to enjoy things, and sit in the quiet, and just be still and try to search out peace. The game seems to be meant to be slow to reach new goals and I love that. I like that it can easily be played in just a few minutes. I also like that it is not ad heavy. You can watch ads every few minutes to refill your interactions but that is up to you. Also, when you are collecting the milk for your friend you have the opportunity to double the reward with an ad. Those are the only two places where there are ads and I appreciate that very much.

I Love The Game Just Have A Few Questions.

Hello!, I want to first say I love this game. It’s relaxing and it’s easy and it feels like I’m taking care of myself and trying to open up lol. Overall I love it. I don’t have complaints or nothing. So here is my question: I’m not sure when I have achieved a level or not. So how would I know if I’m level 1,2,3 ect. ? I only ask this because I have enough heart to go downstairs but it tells me to achieve level three first and I think I am but I’m not sure. Or would I have to buy all the furniture and get it to level three first before I can go downstairs. ? Also It’s hard for me to collect the red drops so I would be able to upgrade the furniture. Will there be an easier way once I am able to get downstairs? I always have enough raindrops but the red ones I stay going low on. (Unless that’s the point so I would need to play more then lol). But yeah those are my questions. Thank you for making an amazing game. And I’m definitely going to keep playing. Also can I add that I get notifications when my friend wakes up so I know I could talk to them again. Or is it up to me to be able to remember? (Which would be understanding to the extent of the game). Thank you.

AMAZING.

I never write reviews, but I just had to for this game. As someone who has struggled with depression, this game comforts me a LOT. I always download games, play them once, and then delete them after not playing for a while, but this game? I don’t think it’ll be the same story. Although some people may argue that there isn’t much to do (which is a valid opinion), I think there’s the perfect amount of options in the game. If there were too little, I would be bored. If there were wayyy too many, I would get overwhelmed. This game has the perfect balance. I also appreciate how the ads aren’t random, and how you can choose to trigger them. It makes my experience a lot better. Overall, this is an app that I enjoy opening up, and I never get overwhelmed by it. 5/5 :)

this game is very heartfelt <3.

i really love this game. i never write reviews but this game just deserves it. i relate to it and it’s nice to feel as if i’m helping someone who is depressed just like i was even tho it’s just a game. it’s like “i know you’re not feeling well. but i got you some food! i also bought you new furniture! i’m here for you and i love you” to the person in the game and it makes me happy that i can be there for the person. i actually care lol and kinda got attached to this game. you do need patience to play this and it takes time for the person in the game to open up to you just as if it was a person in real life. i’ve had this game for a while now and i love it more each day. the only thing is the grammar. it’s not exactly the best but this game has good intentions so i can live with it. another thing i don’t understand is the purpose of the scarecrow. but i don’t mind it much because it’s cute and nice to have. besides that, the design of this whole game is really cute and well drawn. i love it. the concept of this game is just basically heartfelt. overall. this is just a really good game and i love it. it deserves the whole 5 stars.

Daily Dose Of Check-Ups

I never really write reviews for anything, but the game itself was pretty nice. It’s mostly something to pass the time either afk or not. Though I think the whole idea of it is heart-warming. You help a little person who is depressed and all alone. (you even get to name them!) You try to do small talk or interact with it and it takes awhile. Kind of similar to real life. People need time to adjust to things and being familiar to someone. I would suggest you play this game if you’re patient and willing. Unless you like to go try hard mode or whatever. However, there is also little art cinematic scenes and it’s very cute. I hope to see my little buddy smile one day as I was in the same position before<3

I love this game

I love this game and I’ve had it for awhile now. I love playing this game after school or when I’m about to go to bed. The rain sounds are also very relaxing. The only thing I don’t understand is when you tap on the windows there’s like and snowman and a scarecrow and I don’t know what those are for. I thought about deleting this game once then I just decided not to play the game for a few days and now I love this game. I’m not that far into the game. I have unlocked the downstairs and I am on level 4. Something I also don’t like is watering the plant because more you water it the more hearts you have to use. right now to water it again I have to have 20 hearts. overalls tho this game is really relaxing.

I am in love with this game.

SPOILERS AHEAD! The only reason my ranting isn’t 100% is because I lost all of my progress and I’m really really really sad about it. I am in love with this game. It’s cute, the translations give it an extra cute vibe in general and it’s a great personification of how sadness is. Playing this game has really helped me feel empathy. Never once did i judge Little Buddy (the name I gave my character) for his sadness or rush him to get happy faster. Instead, I was patient and spent months watering his flower until it bloomed, collecting rain water, upgrading the entire shop 100%, getting the journal and even writing a few things! I was at level ten and still actively checking him at least once a day. I even got my boyfriend to download the game just because I loved it so much and wanted him to make his character happy too to experience the joy of it. Sadly my phone brine the other day and the knowledge that I’ll never be able to get back the months of work that I put in makes me so regretful; there are no save spots which is definitely something that should be added. Alone with being able to save your progress I can’t think of a single complaint besides withing that there was a way to know that I had to do to unlock everything else. I’m going to download the app again and try to make my little buddy happy again. Maybe if the team sees this, feel free to reach out. I’d really love to have my little buddy back!

I actually care

This game is so sweet and cute. I wanted to try the game because of the art style and the description I saw. Now that I’ve had it for a few hours, this game has actually made me care about making the person feel better. I would definitely want a fix in the English grammar for the rules, pop ups, and the character’s dialogue. I also think the exchanging red drops to blue drops and vice versa should have an equal conversion. Because it takes 400 blue drops to make 10 red drops, but 20 red drops to make 200 blue drops. This should be fixed to be the same conversion. I also think that when the person is going outside, they should have an option to stay outside even when I leave the app or the amount of hearts used should be less because the game gives me the option to purchase items with the items we gain at the park or at the city and I should, therefore, have the ability to gain those items without having to either wait in the game or go back home and wait again to gain 20 hearts.

Powerful game, extremely slow

This game is very cute and well thought out. I appreciate the consideration taken to make the feeling of sadness feel realistic. The character really speaks to how depression can feel or show for many people, down to the pensive nature of the character and the fact that it is always raining. It’s powerful in its message. However, I must be honest and say it is painstakingly slow. I understand the slowness adds to the concept, but it feels like all you are doing the entire time is waiting to collect water or hearts. You could be staring at the game and nothing is happening, which makes increasing to higher levels a very long process. There should be more interaction as time goes on because at the end of the day it’s a game. More and faster opportunities to develop in the game should be a no brainer for this format of game. The fact that you have to wait until sometimes three levels ahead to progress just seems a bit much. I like the game, but wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants more interactive games because it’s just so slow and at times extremely boring. However, the concept is cute and I like the character. (Also, there are quite a bit of issues with translation but it kinda adds to the enduring nature of the character).

Rainy Attic Room is a slow paced simulation game for the iOS and Android platforms where you hang out with your depressed friend. Your goal is to increase your familiarity with them, earn rainwater and hot water, talk to them as much as you can, and earn hearts so that you can feed them and help them clean up their place. This is a very slow paced game, but there are plenty of tricks to help you speed things along.

Plus, you can also participate in events and use event codes to win prizes. As you get further into the game, you can gain levels and help your depressed friend furnish the room with nice things, and even go downstairs.

Read on for a list of tips and cheats for Rainy Attic Room!

You can talk to your depressed friend up to five times, and every five minutes, you will earn one more talk. There are a couple ways to earn more talks right away, though.

One way is to turn the room around and tap on the radio whenever it’s moving. You will be prompted to watch a short video, and once the advertisement video is done, you will earn five talks instantly.

The other method is to use the time lapse cheat and move the time ahead on your phone or tablet. Moving ahead five minutes for every talk that you want to get. The only downside to this is that when you set your time back to normal, you will have to wait for the cheated number of minutes in order to earn talks, instead of waiting for five minutes, although you can still use the video method.

Rainwater accumulates when you’re logged off of the game, but you can also get more of it by tapping on various objects in the room and outside of the window. This includes spiderwebs, balloons, cats, planes that are flying by, and more. Rainwater is needed in order to furnish the room.

You can use the time lapse cheat to earn more rainwater right away by messing with the time on your phone, but the same rule applies here as it does with the hearts. If you set your time back to normal, you will lose all of that rainwater.

Hot water is also needed to buy new things, and can be earned in all of the same ways as above, except that it does not accumulate over time. You have to tap stuff in order to earn it. Go to the store area to check how much hot water and rainwater you have at any given time.

Another method of earning hot water is by purchasing the water purifier in the special area of the store. This allows you to exchange rainwater for hot water, so if you have too much rainwater and not enough hot water, then you will want to buy this.

To earn hearts, you have to talk to your depressed friend five times. Each five times equals one heart, and hearts can then be used to purchase food or clean up the room. Doing either of these things will increase your familiarity with your friend.

To enter an event coupon code, go to the options menu and tap the button that says “event info“. If there is an event going on at the time, then you will be able to enter the coupon, but if there is no event, then you won’t be able to do anything.

The question mark button in the corner of the settings menu will tell you to go to the Play Store to get the code, but as of right now, the Android Version of the game is only available in Korean, so if you only speak English, you’re out of luck unless you can run the description through a translator program. Try to do that, though, to see if there is an event code that you’re missing.

You can go downstairs once at the beginning of the game, but after that, you will no longer be able to go downstairs until you clean up the two boxes that are sitting in front of the latter. Once you earn enough hearts to clean them up, do that and get them out of the way and he will be able to go downstairs freely.

About Evan Heisenberg

Evan Heisenberg named himself after a Breaking Bad character one time, and then got stuck with it. He’s a San Diego guy living in Tacoma, so he legitimately enjoys the cliche “long walks on the beach.” Aside from writing about mobile games, Evan is an aircraft hydraulic maintainer and maintenance instructor. He likes weightlifting, beer, dad jokes, the Padres and Chargers, and slightly-old luxury and exotic cars.

It is the bottom right tab in the store book. If you haven’t leveled up enough, the water purifier/other items will not be available to you yet in this tab.

Comment obtenir le frigo ? Je ne comprend pas

what do the books do in the corner of the attic, what does leveling them up do?

How do you get the fridge?
I’ve checked several times in the stores and it just has a “preparing” message over it. It’s been days.

i’ve been playing this game for quite some time now, i’ve maxed everything on the top floor except the book. i feel like the levels just keep on going. do you know what the highest level of it is?

They do eventually end with a bookshelf!

Is there any way to change the nickname or no?

No, one you name your friend you can no longer change it’s name.

I visited a lot of website but I believe this one holds something special in it in it

How do I use the water purifier once I purchased it i can’t find it or how to use it. Help ?!
