Pvz 2 missile toe

Missile Toes launch cold blasts at any tile on the lawn. They deal damage to zombies on the impact tile & can freeze/chill in a 3x3 area.

Usage: tap to arm, tap on target tile to fire
Special: immune to frost

Other plants often make fun of her, because she doesn't really have any toes despite her name being "Missile Toe". THAT makes her a bit mad. so she took vengeance, in her own way - by hanging herself up as an ornament right above the door during last year's Christmas party. After mortifying several couples and a zombie, she was sure that others wouldn't mess with her again.

Strategies

Missile Toe is an effective support plant for her cost. She does good damage and the fact that she can hit anywhere on the lawn makes her excellent at supporting all lanes. When it comes to Plant Food, the best usage is to use her projectile first before giving her a Plant Food. That way, the player could have 1 extra attack profit rather than giving her a Plant Food immediately while she has her "snowball" ready to be launched. Although 1 extra attack may seem to be small and doesn't have a huge impact whatsoever, extra damage to the zombies is better than nothing, am I right?

Tier 1 Missile Toe is different from her Tier 2 and 3. At Tier 1, she does good damage and is more spammable. However, she can barely freeze zombies and her chill effect is alright. At Tier 2 and 3, she is great at supporting since she can freeze zombies for a while and her chill effect is great. However, the fact that she lacks damage is a major downside.

Missile Toe faces competition from other chilling plants, such as Snow Pea, Cold Snapdragon, and Winter Melon.

Her name is a portmanteau of the words "missile," a self-propelled self-guided munition system, and "mistletoe," the common name for most obligate hemiparasitic plants in the order Santalales. Her binomial name is Atkinsonia ligustrina - Australia's Christmas tree, a rare bush in the Blue Mountains of Australia.

Strategies

The Missile Toe is a direct upgrade to the Banana Launcher since her projectiles chill zombies in a 3x3 area in addition to causing high damage to any zombie that they hit directly. However, this plant's ability to slow zombies down with each shot also applies to the Snow Pea, Winter Melon, and Cold Snapdragon, making this plant somewhat redundant, unless she is the only ice-based plant that the player brings. She can also work well in Frostbite Caves since she is immune to the freezing effect.

Her massive 500 sun cost and 20 seconds recharge time are notable weaknesses, however, the high damage per shot and additional chill effect make her effective at dealing with single targets while crowd-controlling all other zombies in range through the slow effect. Her biggest weakness is that it is hard to know whether if she is recharging or not, as the only way to see is by looking her icy missile in her "hands", as it is smaller when recharging, but with no change in animation. This is especially noticeable when playing on smaller devices.

Note that in the Chinese version she is not immune to the freezing winds and snowballs of the Hunter Zombies. Therefore, it is advised to pair her with a thawing plant such as Lava Guava or Hot Potato.

(Wild West).
