Городские эвенты (Добавлены обновлением 19 мая 2016) были добавлены в игру, дабы облегчить, но и иногда усложнить игру. После возвращения с экспедиции есть шанс, что любой эвент будет запущен самостоятельно (выбран из пула всех эвентов), а также некоторые из них являются наградой за прохождение определенного подземелья. Частоту появления эвентов можно изменить в настройках игры (так как большинство эвентов "положительные", есть смысл настроить на их частое появление)

I've been told it's a quite rare event, but during the course of 80(some) in-game weeks, I got the event THREE times. Am I just lucky? He sadly died in the ruins at level 4 (not sure to what, might have been against the Necromancer. ) This was well before the Town Event update, so I felt pretty bad knowing an extension of my friend was snubbed out. At this time, I had a fair amount of fallen heroes in my graveyard I know I'm awful When the town events rolled out, one of my first events was From Beyond. Aww, shame. my best bounty hunter at the time, Dog Puncher, died. I never got a res for him.Ii just kept renaming all my bounty hunters after him. EDIT: My favorite crusader I resurrected was there, too. Didn't have a custom name at the time. His name was Budi, but after the first time with the event, He got renamed to Bud. Yeah the Ghoul also killed Dismas and I had to restart (I know its dumb but I want that achievement) from scratch. My current run is approaching Week 80 and I haven't seen it once. 7 фев. 2017 в 13:19 I had it happen 3 times in 100 weeks BUT it's bugged. Twice it didn't have any heroes listed so I couldn't bring any back. It only worked once out of three events for me. I reported it in the non crash bug section, nothing so far. 7 фев. 2017 в 14:31

From my experience, I would guess it has a probability of about 1/50, plus the added condition that you need a certain number of deaths (I think it's 3 minimum, might be 4). So getting 3 times in 80 weeks would be fairly unlikely, but within the realm of possibility, especially if you picked up some deaths quite early.

While I like the idea of resurrecting heroes in principle, in practice I don't find this event to actually be all that useful, simply because it's so expensive to get those characters back into fighting shape. If you're playing NG+, of course, then it can help extend your campaign.

@jellySlayer Yes, I killed a lot of characters very early game (mostly crusaders, plague doctors, and jesters. Jesters in particular are just so squishy. but I love 'em <3) from stupid mistaked like forgetting I could abandon a quest and forgot to get one of my early jesters to have inspiring tune for stress management. Not to mention the double party wipe on siren *shudder*. Dark, dark days, those were. Maybe it has something to do with that.

@HolyDingleberry That's a shame. I'm sorry! I know it's not my fault or anything, but you have my sympathy.

Released May 19, 2016, Town Events are events occurring in the Hamlet of The Darkest Dungeon. Town Events add variety to the overall campaign and also provide additional personality to the Hamlet itself! In some cases, the events are related to Quests. For example, the All Saints Day event always proceeds after successfully completing the "Reclaim Relics of the Light" quest in the Ruins. All Saints Day sends the Abbey into a zealous celebration, and makes all treatments there free for that week!

Description [ ]

‘Town Events’ are designed to add variety to the Hamlet over the course of a campaign. Upon returning from an expedition, there is a chance for a thematic event to trigger in town – this functions akin to a deck of event cards. You can toggle the frequency of Town Events in the gameplay options. Generally, most events are positive, so it is recommended that you set this at "plentiful".

There will not always be a Town Event, but when there is an extra hotlink to that announcement will appear in the bottom hotbar, so you can close the announcement safely and return to it later if you need to.
