I'm planning on making another file which I wanna be super beneficial on, and have a bunch of largo combos so I can efficiently feed them their favorites and save up plorts for the Lab, as well as make a decent amount of Newbucks. 19 ноя. 2016 в 19:59

This is my setup Largo-wise:

Boom-rock - briar
Honey-hunter - mango
Tabby-phospho - stoney
Rad-crystal - oca-oca

I've got 2 pens each of stoney henhen, and briar henhen. For the honey and rads, a garden plot each of mint mangos and oca-oca. If you have enough roosteros, skip the mangos. I choose these combos partly based on pairing easy food slimes with difficult food slimes, and on how neat they looked. This covers all slimes except for pink and pond. Good luck.

But thats mainly cos I found chickens for food to be a complete pain compared to a simple garden plot next to corral

I like to use plantable things as the favourites, heartbeets, cuberrys, mint mangos and oca oca as they are more sustainable and I rarely have to go searching to make up the difference or keep too close of an eye on the chickens.. ie keeping no more than 12 in a pen. Fruits and Veg are just easier when you want to stuff the corral as full as possible and get a max harvest of 15 when the garden is gully upgraded.

Whatever you want to use as the secondary slime is upto you. I like to start with 15-20 largos per pen to start, then cull it down to 5-7 later on, when I am swimming in plorts.

I don't know, i've always just chosen one slime and then made largos of it with other types of slimes, so that way i don't need to farm more than one resource.

In my current save i'm going with:

Those are in the top denominator of slimes you can farm, their plorts all have a base value of 30-ish, and the only thing i have to farm are oca-oca's.

Personally, it doesn't really matter what combination i use, any combination of those 5 can easily get you 10K+ in about a day.

This is my current ranch setup. It can be worked on to be more efficient with telepads and warps.

Overgrowth - Free range largo Explosion+Rads alone with the oca plots.
Grotto - Free Range Crystal+Phosphors with cube trees, top level two chicken plots.
Ranch - No slimes, Farms + Silos.
Science - 4 Pens, 4 to 5 largos per pen (hunter/honey=Mint mango=4)(explosion/rad=oca oca=4)(crystal/phosphors=Cuberry=4)(rock/tabby=Heart Beet=4) + 1 puddle pond with 4 puddle slimes side of science barn.

Outside the Ranch there are those pink slimes. I just swarm that area with them and throw my carrots down to them and when I pass by I collect the pink plorts. Keep in mind to watch out for rock slimes that get near as they can mess up the horde of pinks near Ranch gates. Phosphors spawn there at night and if a pink rock slime gets in that then you got tars that ruin the pink open range there.

Basically I keep the ranch my growing storing hub. The grotto is minor chicken farming. The overgrowth and grotto provide me with plorts for exchange / cash. The science barn is where I farm plorts to use on designs. The exchange prices seem to have no rhyme or reason so it doesn't really matter to sell high / store them up. Just sell them to purchase all your schematics and upgrades.

Personaly i got

Honey + boom = mint mango,
Crystal + rad = oca oca,
hunter + phos = cube berry,
tabby + rock = heart beet.

I have 2 gardens on the main ranch for each of their fav foods,
4 correls with 8 largos each at the lab,
The 5th correl on the lab has 50 pink slimes.

The overgrowth is all maxed out and full silos that i use to wait for the prices to improve since atm they are all 5-20 besides puddle and gold.

The grotto is all ponds with 3 puddle slimes each.

With this combo can easily make 50-100 of every plot every 5ish mins.
My science lab is filled with 100+ of every plot besides gold,puddle and pink as advance stuff drains pink like mad.

Largo Slimes are the result of a pure slime eating a plort not of its type. They are far bigger than pure slimes and can no longer be stored in the vacpack in this state; instead only being able to fit onto the nozzle. A Largo cannot revert back to a pure Slime.

A Largo Slime adopts the favored food, traits, and abilities of the Slime it was before transforming and the Slime type of the Plort that it ate as a pure Slime. When fed, they produce two Plorts; one for each of its base Slime types. This is doubled to four - two each - when eating one of its favored foods, making them far more efficient for ranching.

There is a risk to ranching Largos however; if a Largo eats another Plort of a type that it does not produce, it transforms into a Tarr; a hostile Slime that devours other Slimes and produces more Tarr when it does so. This is often referred to as a "Tarr outbreak".

It is not possible to create Puddle, Fire, Quicksilver, Lucky, Gold, Twinkle or Glitch Largos.

Largo Slimes are a hybrid of two slimes resulting from a slime eating a plort unlike its own. They are twice as big normal slimes and have a combined diet of their two source slimes, making them enticing for ranchers that want to maximize their profits.

However, a largo is too big to vac and can only be transported using the end of the vac nozzle. This makes them difficult to control if things get out of hand.

Rancher Risks:
In addition to largos being more difficult to manage and having the combined powers of two slimes, an even greater threat to ranchers lies within these super-sized slimes. If a largo eats a plort unlike its two source slimes, it will transform into a ravenous tarr slime!

Ranchers need to be very careful when dealing with largos or risk an outbreak of tarr that can quickly overtake their entire ranch. Always carry a full tank of water just in case!

When a largo eats, it produces plorts of both source slime types, making them potentially very lucrative for ranchers that can deal with the added risk of keeping them.

This chart shows all the Largos that are currently available in the game. Note: The saber slime only exists in largo form.

Largos are too big to be sucked into the vacpack. Instead, they get stuck to the nozzle, then they can be transported to another location and either shot or released there.

They cannot be transported by any warp tech and must be either created, or brought by foot to any location.

Also, if they get too Agitated, they will become feral again, so keep them calm or place a taming bell next to their corral (a music box helps).

Spreading Behavior

When there are many of one type of slime and just one of another type of slime, it is possible to mix them using only the food that the latter slime type eats (e.g. Veggies for a Rock Slime among several Dervish Slimes). Refer to the table for more info:

Feral Slimes

Feral Slimes are Largos that are particularly grumpy and will try to take a bite out of Beatrix if she gets too close. But maybe if they're given a bite to eat.

The Secret Style Pack is a paid cosmetic DLC which switches pure and largo slime appearences between their classic and secret style appearences.

За одно кормление ларго даёт сразу два плорта - по единице плорта обоих видов, при кормлении любимой едой - вдвойне больше, то есть один ларго может обеспечить четырьмя единицами плорта за раз, благодаря чему их выгодно держать на своём ранчо.

Виды ларго [ ]

На данный момент в игре есть 91 вид ларго (стили не учитываются так как не влияют на поведение слаймов):

Мне кажется, что если и держать у себя на ранчо ларго, у которых один из "компонентов" - хищный слайм, то тогда вторым компонентом лучше всего делать розового слайма. На это я нахожу как минимум 2 причины:
1) Все знают, что когда появляется хищно-[вид слайма] ларго, то он изначально становится одичавшим. Но так как это хищно-розовый ларго, то он будет есть всё, т.е. успокоить его можно чем угодно х)
2) Плорты, которые они дают. Естественно я не развожу кукарекунов, а выращиваю погофрукты, так что плортов не так много. Но плортами хищного слайма можно запасаться, так что когда цены поднимутся, то можно за 1 заход как минимум тысячу получить. ну это смотря сколько вы запасали с:
А розовые плорты нередко нужны в Науке о слизи - поэтому загон с этими чудесными ларго находится рядом с лабораторией :D
Можно делать так и с другими слаймами 3-го уровня (Кристальные, мозаичные, квантовые, дервиш и вьюнок-слаймы. ну те, у кого цена плорта ближе к 100 ньюбаксам), но если вы решаете разводить хищных, то тогда скрещивайте их с розовыми :,3

Андрей, я сделал для кристаллических загон и их в ларго не превращал . Забубенил штук 10 туда и всё отлично . Не всегда ларго хорошо . Тут как , мелких можно больше затолкать а ларго много не поместится .У меня к примеру ещё есть загон с розовыми не ларго штук 12 , они чисто для производства плорта для фабрики . Что ещё скажу , у меня ларго по 6 штук сидят , и автомат с едой хоть и стоит на минимуме , выдаёт еды больше чем они съедают и мне приходится вольер чистить и обратно заряжать корм, что бы он не пропал . Так же светляки у меня есть штук 12

А ещё какую штуку я придумал . Открывает причал , там 4 секции стоят впритык , в одну сажаем смайлов-цветочки , в остальные селим кур , и у нас бесконечная кормушка , слайм будет дотягиваться до кур и их кушать , приходи и забирай плорты
