I may be doing something wrong, but the usual substitution doesn't seem to be working for this recipe. I tried it with the following: 10 normal honey, 20 green quality herbal wine, 10 sugar, 2 apples, and it failed. Tried it with less honey and wine with no success either.
I came here to ask. maybe because it is a special item it does not allow substitutions?
The top quality honey in this recipe cannot be substituted with regular and green honey.
Im not really sure if that was in any patchnote, but im sure i read that somewhere (maybe on ivenglobal, or dulfy)
Plus, it makes sense (somewhat. )
Cooking honey is available in unlimited amounts, and these recipes have to be very hard to do. Cause they dont want players to "easily" rebirth their faeries (or take it as incentive to cashshop)
[Full-bodied Exotic Herbal Wine] Can't be substituted either
Tried 2x Top-Quality Cooking Honey with 8x Exotic Herbal Wine, 10x Sugar, 2x Grapes and it failed
I don't understand the system in this game, through trial and error, I managed to make Sweet Honey Wine maybe three times. like once per level at Apprentice 4, 5, and 6, using 2x Top quality honey with 12x Exotic Herbal Wine (the green one), 10x sugar, and 2x grapes. It only works one time, at a time, and then just returns errors every time, until a week later after another level in my cooking, or something, when I remember that I have honey in my inventory.
does it have to be an apple too? or can it be a grape?
Yes it works with grapes (cooking Artisan 4)
or . not, seems to not want to work that way either.
This is BDO. the BS game. so, NO. Top-Quality Cooking Honey can't be replaced with WHITE GRADE ingredients.
You need to have the knowledge to make it
This doesn't work. you need to buy the sweet honey wine from pearl shop only.
