For AMD you have 2 options. I recommend using the 1st option as it gives you more values to work with than you can find in the registry. They may do nothing but you can never be sure.

Set the following values:

Flip Queue Size to 0x3100

Flip Queue Size Main Default to 1

Flip Queue Size Main to 0x3100

Flip Queue Size Main Set to 0x3100

You can now press Restart Driver in the bottom right corner or restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

Open Registry Editor (regedit) as administrator. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\\0002 or similiar. You can find the exact location of the driver in the RADEON SETTINGS app. Go to System --> Hardware tab and look for 2D Driver File Path. Open the key ( 0002 or similiar) and select the UMD key.

Find and set the following:

FlipQueueSize to 31``00 so it will look like this: 0000``31``00`` ``1.

You can now restart your PC

Open your NVIDIA Control Panel. Go to Manage 3D settings .

Set Maximum pre-rendered frames to 1

You can change it globally or only for Siege. Not sure if restart is needed but I recommend it just to be safe.

Since I am very sensitive to input lag from whatever sources I did some research into how to reduce it on Windows 10. I therefor disabled Xbox DVR and deleted that app, since it was known that would cause input lag.

Things I have done so far:

Turned off Vsync in game (AND Nvidia Control Panel)

Check if mouse assist was on in game settings

Turn off mouse precision in W10 settings

Turn down graphics to see if that was the problem

My setup is an I7 4.2Ghz, GTX980 and 16 gb ram.

I am having mouse lag problem since 3 months. I cannot aim properly due to mouse lag :/ how to fix this problem? tried all the solution but did not work.

Config :
Core i3 3220
8gb ram
GTX 1050ti 4GB
Bloody ZL50 Laser Gaming mouse

Can you please ensure your drivers are all update to date?

me too

the mouse input is lagging behind. sometimes a few seconds after i did the action while the fps recorded on the top left is above 150
i'm totally confused on what should i be doing since it only happens on rainbow 6 siege, other game like battlefield 1 runs well (100 fps+) on very high setting

the setup is
windows 10 pro
Z77A-GD65 gaming
i5 3570k Overclocked to 4.2 GHZ
16 gb of DDR3 RAM
GTX 1070

Rainbow Six Siege- Mouse Lag & High FPS that makes the entire game lag

Since the Year 3, Season 2 update (Operation Chimera) I have had non-stop issues, my fps would sky rocket between 120-900 fps rapidly on everything but the main menu of Rainbow Six Siege. This would make me lag on the voice chat in-game and on Discord, Skype and Teamspeak, i found a fix that told me to turn on V-Sync, however that made my game feel weird & choppy on the hand and made it feel slow. I reset my Nvidia GPU graphic preset and the game is running smoother than ever before. My issue now is that my game feels laggy, even though i have a steady fps of 100-120 fps and my ping varies between 7-30 so their is no issue with my connection or computer. Their is something wrong with the mouse tracking or something as i only have this issue with Rainbow Six Siege. Is there a fix or an update soon to RB6 that will fix this issue for me and many other players around the world with this issue?

Mouse Lag

I have had the same problem. It is just in R6S, and no other games. All drivers are up to date. Even went as far as to reinstall game, and buy new mouse. Changing the polling rate helps, but the lag is still very much present.

Thank you for reporting this to us.

Can you please try turning on V-Sync to max, to see if this helps with the Mouse Input lag.
