Gameplay Description
A Medium Armored Operator, Lion comes with his EE-ONE-D, which flies up above the map to scan for enemy movement at his command. If a Defender moves during this scan, the drone will detect that movement and ping them repeatedly for Attackers to see, even through walls.
- Lion's presence causes his EE-ONE-D drone to appear in the airspace around the map. It cannot be destroyed.
- Lion can activate his EE-ONE-D's sonar ability three times per round.
- The EE-ONE-D drone gives a 1.5 second warning to both Attackers and Defenders before it starts scanning.
- The scanning process comes after the warning phase, and lasts 2 seconds. Any Defender who moves during this phase will be marked with several red pings, visible by all Attackers, even through walls and through drones/cameras. Ceasing movement does not stop the pinging.
- The Drone will only detect the movements of Defenders who move from their position during the scan. Turning, changing stances, or using any gadget or weapon will not cause the Defender to be spotted.
- However, vertical movement, such as breaking a hatch and falling through it, does get scanned by the Drone.
- The EE-ONE-D has a cooldown of 15 seconds between activations.
Synergies
- Lion works well with other Operators who are suited to either clearing out a room and/or discourage roaming Defenders, one way or another. 's Cluster Charges can force Defenders to flee from the room he is clearing, thus allow Lion to track them. Alternatively, Lion's pings can show Fuze where the Defenders are, allowing him to place his Cluster Charges more precisely. is a great partner in intimidating roamers, as the Eyenox gives Defenders the incentive to move around so that their current location won't be tracked, while Lion forces them to stay still in order to not be tracked.
- Using Dokkaebi's Logic Bomb immediately after the EE-ONE-D scan may stop Defenders from moving for a few seconds. However, it is not recommended to use these gadgets at the same time. If used in tandem, the Logic Bomb after the EE-ONE-D scan, it will force Defenders to stay still for several seconds.
- Exothermic Operators, such as Thermite and Hibana can work well with Lion as the timing of their explosives can work well for the latter's benefit, forcing Defenders to choose whether to prevent a surface from being exposed or maintain their cover from the EE-ONE-D.
- Lion also works well with anti-electronic Operators, such as Thatcher and Twitch, as they can destroy Signal Disruptors that would otherwise interfere with the EE-ONE-D's function.
Counters
- Being within range of one of Mute's Signal Disruptors will disrupt the EE-ONE-D's scan for anyone within their area of effect.
- If Lion is within the range of a Signal Disruptor, he will also be unable to activate his drone at all.
-
ERC-7 completely immunizes him to the EE-ONE-D. This only works if Vigil hasn't moved during the scan.

Biography
Olivier was born to a conservative, well-to-do family. His parents and older sister, Sophie, were in medicine and devout Catholics , but he bucked against their accomplishments and their faith. He was smart and arrogant, but he believed rebellion was a better use of his intellect. It was fun to act against expectation, to drink and party. at least it was until he got his girlfriend, Claire, pregnant.
He tried to convince Claire to get an abortion, but she refused. Once his parents found out about the pregnancy, they kicked him out of the house; it was the last straw in a string of bad behavior. Depressed, Olivier went on a drug and alcohol-fueled bender, getting trashed enough to land in the hospital. That was his wake-up call. He was 18 and nearly homeless, so he joined the French Army out of desperation in order to gain control of his life.
Military life was hard but rewarding. Olivier took solace in purpose and struggled to break old habits. He started sending money to Claire to support their newborn son even though she did not want to see Olivier. Olivier's skills and aptitude were well-suited for specific training in CBRN. The additional structure and strict discipline of advanced training allowed him to excel. He became a second-level in-combat rescuer and was quickly recruited into the 2nd Dragoon Regiment . Olivier worked primarily with their environmental monitoring sensors in support of the unit's role as a CBRN reaction force. He also developed a close relationship with the regiment’s Catholic Chaplain , Bertrand, who eventually spoke to Claire and convinced her that Olivier regretted his actions. He arranged a reunion for them.
It was a hard moment for Olivier. He met his son, Alexis, the child he wanted aborted, and the reality of his decision hit him hard. He had been selfish, pushing his girlfriend to do something because it inconvenienced him. More so, Claire was about to get married and Alexis was already calling someone else 'daddy'. Everything he had done, putting his loved ones through hell, shoved him into a wild depression that almost cost him his rank. Chaplain Bertrand helped Olivier through his crisis and with it, he returned to the Catholic Church.
Olivier swore he would do everything possible to rectify the pain he had caused, so he worked harder, and sought more challenges. He grew a fascination for bacteriology and virology, specifically vector control. Recognizing that his abilities could be better applied elsewhere, he resigned from the army and joined the Groupe d’intervention de la Gendarmerie nationale (GIGN), with a view towards the GIGN's Operational Support Force (FAO). Olivier worked as the unit's new biohazard expert, using drones to maintain and hold quarantine perimeters. He focused on his duty, on making things right, no matter how much it hurt him in the process. His feelings were irrelevant; what mattered was strict observation of his duty. During a Yellow fever outbreak in Sudan , while protecting a field investigation team, his loud voice scared a frightened mob back and he gained the nickname "Lion" from the locals.
Psychological Profile
Lion is a by-the-books Operator because he doesn't trust his civilian instincts. Rules give him structure and allow him to control what he considers the pettier parts of his personality. They give him a safety net when conscience or arrogance could otherwise weaken his resolve and hurt more lives. He bears the weight of responsibility for what he has done and pushes himself to the limits as a form of corporal punishment.
Unfortunately, Lion is arrogant and has rubbed some people within GIGN and Rainbow the wrong way. Doc thinks he lacks the empathy necessary to help in medical crises while Lion thinks Doc's humanitarianism is a liability. Twitch is not happy about being caught in the middle of that fight. Lion's closest friend in GIGN is Montagne, but when Thatcher punched Olivier after he said the wrong thing during a training exercise, Lion almost brought the GIGN and SAS to blows.
Psychological Profile
Scars. A few of our operators have more than their fair share. Specialist Olivier "Lion" Flament, however, has used the army to help heal his. No outlet is perfect, and battle fatigue has a way of piling up, but he channels his frustrations into determination. His approach is motivated by such singular focus that it makes him one of our more formidable and consistent team members.
Something that I try to impart to our team is the value of introspection. Flament, with his Catholic faith, already understands this. He openly discusses his regrets and I can see they give him clarity and purpose. The past isn't something that he's forgotten or tried to erase. It motivates him, but has no hold on him.
In my sessions, I ask for one good thing that happened recently, no matter how small. Some have described a perfect breakfast they had, or the movie that made them laugh so hard they cried. Flament talks about his love of heavy metal music, his faith, and his son.
While the pain of being disowned by his father may never truly fade, it's prompted Flament to engage with his son more constructively. He treasures their relationship, perhaps because he realizes how close he came to never knowing Alexis at all. In the pictures Flament shares with me I can see the results of his efforts.
Three of our GIGN Operators – Specialists Emmanuelle "Twitch" Pichon, Gustave "Doc" Kateb, and Flament – are all haunted by a shared tragedy. This friction over Flament quarantining doctors and nurses who later died can't continue. Joint sessions with Kateb and Flament are already planned. We will resolve this, one way or another.
Flament tells me that, thanks to his military service, he's reinvented himself – but that suggests a different person. I think it's more like reshaping. A dedicated operator, a tireless volunteer. A caring father. He's always been these things. His tattoo – the French Army's motto, "Give me a chance to shine" – tells Flament's story. For him to continue growing, he will have accept his intrinsic ability to change.

Ever since the operation in Sussex, Specialist Olivier "Lion" Flament has always consulted me on tech advancements for his EE-ONE-D. Aerial Surveillance is changing fast. Tests conducted on the current generation EE-ONE-D include real-time mapping and "sense and avoid" capabilities. Results demonstrate that the latest upgrades place Olivier's drone securely at the top of its field.

Особый навык - летающий дрон, который помечает передвигающихся противников. Еще раз внимательно читаем, помечает только передвигающихся противников. Всех, кто остался на месте, не пометит. Так что ваша способность может с вами сыграть очень плохую штуку.
После реворка основной способности Лион стал довольно слабым оперативником. В принципе все тактики работают, как и раньше. Но теперь способность нужно использовать с умом.
Не совсем относится к игре за этого персонажа, но это надо знать. Любая пара игроков может забайтить вас и вашу команду. Один защитник остается неподвижным, второй бегает и всячески палит свою позицию. Атака его видит и бежит быстро убивать и с большой долей вероятности пропустит второго защитника, который оставался неподвижным. Сами понимаете, что атакующих при таком раскладе просто уничтожают в спину.
Теперь об использовании нашего дрона.
В момент захода команды в здание включаем нашего дрона. Многие в начале раунда забивают на пометку и занимаются своими делами дальше.
Помечаем при установке дефуза, захвате заложникаПри установке дефуза или спасении заложника включаем нашего дрона. Команда разбрасывает дым и дальше соответственно ставит заряд, либо хватает заложника.
Теперь нужно угадывать момент, когда включать нашего дрона. Просто включить скан в момент установки уже не достаточно. Время работы нашего существенно порезали. Теперь у нас есть 1.5 секунды подготовки и 2 секунды работы дрона. Включать его желательно тогда, когда вы точно уверены, что противник бежит к дефузеру.
Фишка в том, что многие могут просто пересидеть 8 секунд (3 секунды до обнаружения, 5 в момент работы дрона), остальные будут помечены и их легко можно перестрелять через дым.
Тут почти все так же, как и с зарядами/заложником. Но врубаем мы способность после начала захвата. Теперь наша задача не остановить бегущих защитников, а узнать точное местоположение противника. Грубо говоря пометили и прикинули, откуда защитник зайдет на точку.
В любое время мы можем использовать нашего дрона для контроля защиты. Даже если мы не обнаруживаем противника, мы заставляем его сидеть на месте. Имея например в комнате дрона, мы можем легко убить защитника. Не обязательно его помечать, запомнили, где сидит и побежали убивать. Если он двинется, то его сразу пометит дрон и вы будете знать, где находится противник. Если же останется на месте, то вы уже знаете, где он сидит.
Частично актуально. По сути мы сможем удержать противника максимум на 4 секунды. Для командной игры этого вполне достаточно, но нужна очень слаженная игра.
Хорошая связка получается с Фьюзом. Он начанает ставить матрешку, вы в этот момент включаете дрона. От Фьюза будут убегать все и если к примеру пол простреливается, то вы легко сможете убить защитников, которые чудом спаслись от матрешки.
Связка с Шакалом. Тут просто без шансов у защитника. Если противник сидит, на нем будет метка Шакала, если бежит, то соответственно его пометит дрон.
Связка с Доккеби. Противник бежит - пометка. Противник сидит - звонит телефон.
На самом деле это трио - кошмар роумера. Если защитник зажат и у него нет возможности безопасно убежать, то он практически гарантированно не жилец.
Просто активируем нашего дрона, когда Кавейра провела допрос. Так мы уравниваем шансы нашей команды, ведь противник тоже будет помечаться.
Что нужно всегда помнить
-Вместо силуэта отмеченного врага отображается маркер красного цвета.
-Количество зарядов сканирования 3.
-Время восстановления сканирования 15 секунд.
-Время работы 2 секунды.
-Время подготовки 1.5 секунд.
-Пометка будет отображаться только когда игрок двигается.
-Дрон не помечает противников, которые находятся возле глушилки Мьюта и тех, кто не сдвигается с места.
Дрон Lion не отмечает оперативника Vigil, активировавшего «УМЭ-7».
Лучше всего скрывают персонажа.
Прикольно выглядеть получится только владельцам сезонного пропуска третьего года и обладателям набора Про Лиги. Оба набора уже недоступны для покупки. Других прикольных наборов для Лиона пока не выпустили.
Лев довольно простой персонаж, но требует слаженную команду для достижения наилучшего результата. Реворк его не убил, но изрядно покалечил. Так что для многих он навсегда умер :D
Я бы его теперь не советовал на первые покупки за 25 000 жетонов. Есть персонажи попроще для новичков. Но в любом случае Лион заслуживает внимания к себе и в хорошей команде способен показать себя очень сильным оперативником.

На службе в GIGN оперативник Twitch предоставила Фламану разведдрона. EE-ONE-D позволяет Lion засечь движение при нарушении карантина, зоны полетов или периметра. Дрон может постоянно находиться в режиме полета, однако работа функции сканирования ограничена.
