Не удается подключиться к службе Live.Подключение к сети не доступно. Если используется подключение по протоколу РРР, прежде чем начать игру, убедитесь что соединение установлено. Интернет работает. Раньше заходил все нормально было
Если тебе для игры просто, то там не обязательно авторизовываться, можно создать автономный профиль
Чтобы создать автономный профиль проделайте следующие действия:
После запуска игры, почти сразу появится окно, которое предложит создать или использовать свой профиль в виндовс фор лайв.
Ваша задача нажать кнопку «Хоме» на клавиатуре.
Затем потребуется нажатие по кнопке «Креате нев профиль» .
Не нажимайте в появившемся окне кнопку «Континуэ» , потому что это приведет к созданию онлайн аккаунта. Просто промотайте страничку вниз до надписи Креате локал профиль (Создание локального профиля) . Левой кнопкой мыши нажмите на этой надписи.
В появившемся окне введите свой никнейм. Нажимаем кнопку Субмит, тем самым подтвердив ввод имени.
Нажимаем кнопку «Доне» , чтобы подтвердить ввод всей информации.
Ваш оффлайн профиль создан и теперь будет использоваться для всех игр, где есть виндовс фор лайв

Even if I am following the herafter mentioned procedure, GFWL refuse to recoghise me (which ws not the case in previous instalment like Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7)
The usual procedure to fix this problem and which now do not work is:
Ironic Fact: GFWL doesn’t really work with Windows 8 Pro x64.
Good Fact: it’s not that difficult to fix.
If GFWL isn’t working for you (best way to check is play a GFWL game and see if you can bring up the home menu. If not, it’s broken) here’s what to do.
NOTE: YOU MUST MUST MUST DO THESE STEPS EXACTLY. DON’T SKIP ON REBOOTING OR ANYTHING. ALSO MAKE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE FILE I’VE LINKED TO, AND NOT ANY OTHER VERSION OF GFWL.
1\ uninstall both “Microsoft Games for Windows - LIVE Redistributable" AND “Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace"
3\ download the GFWL installer from here .
4\ IMPORTANT: Right click the above installer, go to properties and change its compatibility to “Windows 7" (or Windows 8). Save and exit.
5\ IMPORTANT: Right click the installer, and choose “Run as administrator"
6\ After it’s installed, run the GFWL game again. It should now work fine and redownload your profile.
Steps 4 and 5 are really, REALLY, REALLY important.

Oh. btw. I wouldn't expect any help from Rockstar about this either now, or when Win10 is released. GTA IV wasn't even meant to work in Win8, so don't expect an update for Win10 anytime soon.

I am french canadian, and my english is far from perfect.
To answer your question, I did a clean instal of Windows 10 TP.on a new partition of my hardrive. My GTA IV and Stories from Liberty City, Steam version, (Gay Tony and The lost) are working perfectly on Windows 8, and then Windows 8.1.
But to be able to have it working on Windows 7 or Windows 8, I had to follow the steps here above mentionned, that is to say : (and these steps were crucial to allow my recognition as an authorised member of GFWL, mandatory to have GTA IV working on my PC)

But I am unable to have GFWL working on WIndows 10 TP.
GTA IV will open and play on my computer, but you can't save your progression in the game, so it is impossible to use the game properly, the system asking to be recognise by GFWL before to allow the saving of the progression.

So it sounds like it might not be logging into Xbox (Windows) Live. It might be an incompatibility between the GFWL the instructions provide and WinTP, or an indication that Microsoft is separating Windows from the old Live games even more. As I said, my installation from Win8.1 is still running fine on WinTP after a upgrade, so I'm not sure how to work around it. Maybe look up some instructions on setting up a liveless installation, so that the saves are saved locally.

I think I have found the problem, however i do not know how to solve it. When I try logging in to Xbox Live it says I type the wrong password even though I know it is right, therefore I checked GFWL's internet settings and there I noticed that it has no internet connection. Again I do not know why or how this happens but I think this might be the problem many of us are having with GTA IV not being able to save your progress. (By the way, I bought the game from Steam if that is in any interest)Report abuse

I can not play the game either. I have the steam version with games for windows Marketplace as login for playing. Using Windows 10. For me it is the games for windows that are not working. It is not compatible with windows 10 and not supported anymore. What to do?Report abuse

There are no fixes for GFWL and Windows 10 at the moment. I have spoken to Windows and Xbox tech support to no avail. I've never seen a wholesale breakage of compatibility before outside of the main Operating System. I suggest everyone gets on the phone with Microsoft and attempt to escalate this issue. Most games that were designed around Microsoft's DRM scheme will not open at all. For example: Mortal Kombat 9, Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, Fable III. Some games I have been able to open but not play, like GTA IV.
These games are still being sold on Steam. Microsoft respects backwards compatibility and this needs to be addressed right away.

"Microsoft respects backwards compatibility"
Do you not remember MS-DOS or something?
It's pretty telling when people like EA are packaging DosBox, a completely unofficial emulator with official digital purchases of older games like SimCity 2000 (though technically it was a feebie as part of the Orgin free games thing but I digress).
Why did they even get rid of it outright?
Edit: Also GFWL is freezing when I try to sign in under similar conditions using the GFWLClient program and the GFWLive exe one wants me to install the login assistant.
Edit2: Well SFxT is working anyway after I use the startup parameter I found to fix the crash right as the game starts up. looks like I don't need any help.

При установке Far Cry 4 была ошибка "Невозможно считать данные"(в конце установки),игра не запускалась.
Охх этот GFWL. Работает через раз. Недавно играл все нормально было, сейчас переустановил винду, надо было снова в профиль войти, ну я нажимаю войти а там нужен ключ который я уже вводил, я его сейчас ввожу и пишет недействительный. ну конечно не действителен я же его уже вводил, только вот как теперь то мне войти в мою учетную запись с моими ачивками сохраненными играми? Помогите пожалуйста! Когда у меня была windows7 я скачал гта4 создал локальный профиль в games for windows live не регистрируясь в social club, игра загружалась, сохранялась,всё было хорошо. Но я обновился до 10ки, games for windows совсем перестал работать. Я его обновил, вроде стал подключаться к инету. Но когда вхожу в игру он не загружает мой профиль! И этот live не открывается совсем! Кнопка home не работает, кнопка live в игре не работает,games for windows не запускается,хотя он установлен! Как мне запустить игру с моими сохранениями. Буду очень благодарен за помощь. Игру прошёл на 50.2 % а проходить всё заново лень.Не входит в Games for Windows Live
