Technically yes, but this doesn't apply to custom HUDs or hit/death sounds. 25 мая. 2018 в 16:21

Huh, funnily enough I just meddled with this around the time you posted this. You'll need to follow guides that say download GFScape, find your sound files from Game Banana (modding website, find their TF2 section and sounds section), and create folders for your respective sounds. I haven't tested it with hitsounds yet, but from a guide I created these folders should look like this in your directory (create folders if you haven't already, STARTING FROM YOUR TF2 FOLDER):

Team Fortress 2 > tf > custom > tf2hitsounds > sound > ui

You'll need to open up GFScape and navigate to tf2_misc_dir in your tf file, then find what the sound files are called and rename your new sound files to match them.

Then put your .wav files in there. They must be .wav, if you get an MP3 file convert it. Usually you'll get a file from Game Banana that is already named the sound it will be replacing. Also make sure the properties are all matched up with the original sound if not already renamed, I haven't encountered one already.

можно. скачай звук, создай в папке custom папку с любым названием (например, tf2killsound), потом создай в новой папке папку sound, затем в папке sound надо создать папку ui и туда закинуть killsound.wav/mp3

Assuming Windows & have default tf2 directory:

Also assuming you know what sounds you want to make into a hitsound/ killsound or already have valid hitsound/ killsound, and that you have a program such as audacity installed

Goto "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom"

Within "HitKillSound", make a folder called "sound"

Within the "sound" folder, make yet another folder named "ui"

You should now be in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\HitKillSound\sound\ui"

6. Open audacity with the file you want to make into a hitsound/ killsound.

7. Edit the length, pitch, etc. of the file to your liking.

8. Goto File > Export Audio, & export as .WAV signed 16-bit file.

9. Rename the file you just made to hitsound/ killsound (whichever one it is).

10. Put your new hitsound/ killsound into your "ui" folder

11. Launch TF2, and make sure you have default hitsound/ killsound selected

Deleting the sound cache was the solution. Thank you very much frendo.

Helpful

The hitsound/killsound needs to be:

Format: .wav file

Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz

Bitrate: 16 bits

Many people get those last two wrong, and it causes the killsound to not play at all. You can check/change these values with a free program called Audacity.
