Для удобного поиска воспользуйтесь комбинацией клавиш Ctrl + F. Искать нужно по фрагментам, выделенным в примере синим цветом. Первый параметр выставляет игнорирование определенных режимов графики. Если его не менять - ничего работать не будет. Второй параметр - это ширина (например, 1920). Третий параметр - высота (например, 1080). Замените XXXX на требуемые цифры и не забывайте о кавычках. Также помните: разрешение графики в игре не должно превышать разрешение Вашего монитора, иначе игра просто не запустится.
Теперь переходим к правке ХУДа. Перейдите в папку с игрой и отыщите файл cgamex86.dll. Его необходимо заменить таким же файлом из архива с фиксом. Оригинальный угол обзора FOV равен 80 единицам, а в новом файле этот угол будет заменен на 95 единиц, что подходит для соотношения сторон 16:9. Для соотношения 16:10 необходимо использовать файл cgamex86_FOV90.dll, который следует переименовать в cgamex86.dll.
Затем возвращаемся в папку \base, в которой находится файл конфигурации. Там необходимо найти therest.pk3 и заменить его таким же файлом из архива.
Порядок выполнения этих действий не важен. Главное: не запускайте игру до окончания всех этих процедур! После запуска не трогайте настройки разрешения в игровом меню, иначе все слетит. Теперь в этом поле будет пусто, но на работу игры в нужном Вам разрешении это не влияет. Приятной игры!
Купил Advent Rising на DVD (не лицензия). Прошел немного, вышел. Запускаю снова. Жму играть, а там во всех слотах "Новая игра". Куда делось то, что я прошел? И есть ли какой-нибудь способ нормально сохраниться, чтобы можно было загрузиться и продолжить игру?
пираты забыли положить папку save или че то типа того,так что жди лицку а пиратское говно выбрась нах!!
Действительно то что описанно выше решает проблему с сохранением в игре - СПАСИБО Люди.
Ато я ее чуть не прошел в один заход - но меня остановило только то что зависла моя машина колом.
Я тут играл в advent часа три потом вклучил снова а сейвов нетю, был зол как черт.
А теперь все пашет. Так что спасибо за совет
Игра очень часто вылетает. У меня лицензия от буки.У кого-нибудь так было.
У меня еще и телекинез не работает вообще ничего не поднимает. Я тренировку еле закончил прыгал по столбам пока они не сломались зато у прыжка прям на тренировке 5 уровень заработал. Но все таки хочется им попользоваться. ПЛИИИЗЗ ХЕЛП

а у меня такая проблема я вроде как прошел первый уровень(прохождения нету нигде, поэтому не могу с полной точностью утверждать), там я спас свою девушку и мы едем на лифте вниз, дак вот должен наверно грузиться уровень потом бац и черный экран долгое время.

Патч предназначен для английской версии, с локализованными версиями возможны проблемы.
Установка:
Копировать содержимое архива в директорию игры. Также перенести файлы из папки с нужным разрешением экрана.

A: This is a common occurrence, but the game saves as soon as the cutscene begins. Simply load the game back up. Your save will be exactly where you left it.

- Find MyDefUser.ini and open it in Notepad or another text editor,
- Search for the binding for F8, which will appear as ";F8=GoToNextLevel",
- Remove the semi-colon in front of it so it reads "F8=GoToNextLevel",
- Once you get back into the game, press F8 during a gameplay segment to instantly skip to the next level.
A: If you're running on a newer version of Windows, you may need to enable compatibility mode.
Q: I enabled compatibility mode and now it says, "Can't find Steam." A: You may need to create a shortcut to the game that enables compatibility mode. Select "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose Windows 7 or Windows Vista. Don't access the in-game controller options after you make this change, because it will reset to default and cause the camera to spin again. Alternatively, you can just unplug the controller and play with keyboard and mouse.

Q: I keep getting sent backward in the game and playing levels I've already beat.A: The game saves at every loading screen, so you might be reloading your save incorrectly. Do not pick "Level select" when you're going back to your save, just pick "Play". This will put you at your furthest level, but if you didn't reach a loading screen (spinning Advent icon), you will be sent back to the beginning of your furthest level.
You need to flick-target first. If you're using a mouse, use your scrollwheel to automatically target an object or enemy. If you're using a controller, flick the right analog stick in the direction of the target.
You activated the weapon or psychic power's alt-fire mode, which is unlocked at level 3. This changes its attack. By default, you cycle between firing modes by pressing 1 for your left weapon and 2 for your right weapon. Check your control options if this doesn't work.
