В: Проблемы с запуском. "Приложение будет закрыто"
Вылетает после начальных заставок с вышеуказанной ошибкой.
О: Включите оверлей Steam комбинацией (Shift+Tab), когда идут начальные заставки. Непонятно каким образом, но теперь игра запускается и не вылетает.
В: Как включить консоль в игре?
О: Для того, чтобы включить консоль необходимо:
Лицензия - в стиме правой кнопкой по игре > свойства > установить параметры запуска. > ввести "+com_allowconsole 1" (без кавычек) > нажать "Ок". Учтите что с активацией консоли, достижения станут не доступны.
В: Как убрать ограничение 30 fps?
О: Вводим в консоли команду "R_swapinterval 1" - она ставит ограничение на 60 fps. Если вместо "1" поставить "0" - вы получите полное снятие ограничений. По умолчанию задано значение "2" - ограничение на 30 fps.
В: Как убрать черные полосы?
О: Вводим в консоль команду "R _forceaspectratio 1.8". Значение "1.8" полностью уберет полосы. По умолчанию установлено значение "2.5". Учтите, что полосы убираются лишь по средствам зума.
В: Где лежат сохранения на лицензии?
О: С:\Users\имя пользователя\Saved Games\TangoGameworks\The Evil Within
В: При заходе в игру вечно сбрасывается управление клавиатуры.
О: Заходим в папку с установленной игрой \The Evil Within\base, обнаруживаем файл "default", копируем (допустим на раб.стол, переименовываем в "the evil withinConfig", далее идём в сохранения игры \TangoGameworks\The Evil Within\base, открываем там файл "the evil withinConfig", копируем оттуда основные настройки графы внизу после строки \\\\\\\\\\\\\ в такой же файл (который у нас на раб.столе, удаляем этот файл из сэйва, а на его место ставим взятый из самой игры)
P.S. Только менять теперь управление в меню нельзя, а то опять всё слетит!
В: Изображение съехало в бок.
О: Выключите полно-экранный режим в настройках игры, и разверните картинку через Alt + Enter.
В: Как убрать начальные заставки при запуске?
О: Правой кнопкой мыши на ярлыке > Свойства, в строке объект после .exe нажимаете пробел и вставляете следующее: "+com_skipIntroVideo 1" (без кавычек)
В: Что делать если выдается данная ошибка?
О: На рабочем столе жмем правую кнопку мыши, далее заходим в "Панель управления", Управление параметрами 3D и жмем кнопку восстановить. При следующем запуске игры ошибки уже не должно быть.
В: Не открываются достижения в Steam'e.
О: Если вы включали консоль в игре, не важно что вы там сделали, убрали полосы или врубили God mode, в любом случае достижения не будут открываться. Уберите в параметрах запуска строку, которая активирует консоль в игре и достижения должны выпасть.

О: 15 глав
В: Для чего собирается карта?
О: Если собрать карту из фрагментов то при новой игре + подходим к ней активируем ее и рядом на столе появляется кейс внутри мощная винтовка и полуавтоматический пистолет.

I did the Properties>General>Set Launch Option>+com_allowconsole 1
thing. I hit the Insert key in-game and nothing happens.
Getting fustrated. I just want more ammo is all. Maybe health but mainly ammo.

This is a long shot but maybe try disabling steam in-game overalay?

Then, I went in-game. hit the Insert Key (in the menu AND in the actual game). Nothing happens.
I'll try this "disable steam in-game overalay" thing.

I know this whole ordeal sounds like an annoying pain in the butt but that's because it is.
I'll keeping messing with it, but I get the feeling it still might not work for me if it's not taking the commands.
If it doesn't, thanks for trying to help anyway.
I'll probably just run around with a gun with no ammo screaming like a scared little girl the way I have been the entire game. :>

Press insert to open the console command and type "g_infiniteammo 1" (without the quotations of course).
You have to put the "1" cause that turns it on.
God mode works it just means you don't take damage.
In the console command when you type "God" and press enter it should say "God mode: ON". And then if you type it again it will give the message "God Mode: OFF".

To enable the console go to your steam library, right click on The Evil Within 2 and select “properties” then under the general tab, select “set launch options". Put this line in to unlock the console:
+com_allowconsole 1
Use "insert" key to open it when in-game. Some of the commands only work when in "CHEAT MODE"(achievements will be disabled!), just type "toggle" in console and "CHEAT MODE" will be enabled.
I've tired to find some useful commands to tweak the game and to enable the free camera for screenshots but sadly, "ToggleDebugCamera" command doesn't work properly. There is "pm_noclipspeed" but separate noclip command doesn't exist.
"bink_disable" I think it's for intro videos but when set to 1 it crashes the game. Couldn't find anything else for skipping the intros.
I've tried to force MSAA with "r_multisamples" but it doesn't work.
"m_smooth" - by default it's set on 1 and it can't be changed to 0. I think there is a slight mouse smoothing in the game even with Vsync disabled but I'm not 100% sure.
The only useful command that I've found so far is for LOD. Precisely for ground textures. It enables better ground texture render distance:
"vt_lodbias" - default setting is "-2" and the max/min value that can be used is "-22". Everything bellow that breaks the textures. Here's some gif comparisons:
To list all available commands while in-game use listcmds or listcvars then with "page up/down" scroll through the console. You can use "find" for searching.
If anyone finds out how to enable the free camera properly or some other tweaks post it here.

На рабочем столе зайдите в свойства ярлыка. Если ярлыка нет, то создайте. Добавьте после кавычек в строке "Объект" параметр +com_allowconsole 1 и сохраните изменения.Главное не забыть про пробел после кавычек.Получится должно вот так:
"C:\Games\The Evil Within 2\TEW2.exe" +com_allowconsole 1
В самой игре нажимаем на Insert .Вводим listCmds *. Таким образом вы увидите список всех консольных команд.Для включения режима читов пропишите команду idStudio.
