Cards are the main "units" and collectibles in the game. Each card features art of a respective love interest. They are the core part of deck building and have various mechanics.
Card Fragment/Star Upgrading [ edit | edit source | hide ]
When a player obtains a duplicate of a card, they will receive card fragments that can be used to upgrade a card to increase a card's Influence and Defense up to 4 times. This means a player can pull a card a maximum of 5 times - the initial pull and four more times after - to completely max upgrade a card.
Any additional duplicates pulled after that will be converted into Gift I or Gift II instead. Which gift and the amount depends on the rarity of the card. R cards will convert into Gift I x100, SR cards into Gift I x1000, and SSR cards into Gift II x100.
It is also possible to obtain card fragments for certain cards in Anomaly Levels. Typically, card fragments are used for upgrading, but if a player does not own the card, they can collect 100 fragments to convert into a full SR card. A card can be one of three types: Logic , Empathy , or Intuition . Logic beats Empathy , Empathy beats Intuition , and Intuition beats Logic .
These attribute types are important as choosing a strong attribute against an enemy will do 1.5x damage. Choosing a weak attribute against an enemy will hamper your damage and only output 0.5x damage. Even an attribute-strong lower rarity R card at Level 20 can deal more damage than an attribute-weak Level 40 SR/SSR card.

играла около года назад в игру obey me - это тоже визуальная новелла, но там и по сюжету, и по функционалу, и по общению с мальчиками все очень не очень(имхо). также там в разы сложнее получить редкие карты и уровень повысить. если ты начал играть намного позже выхода игры - участие в ивентах проходит для тебя стороной, пока ты достаточно не прокачаешь свои картыв общем тянуть можно было только на донатах)00)
но тут все настолько прекрасно, что я не могу перестать радоватьсяс каждым обновлением игра становится лучше и интереснеенадеюсь, михуе будут держать планку дальше

Player Counterarguments
These phrases are triggered when a player uses a card. The phrase depends on the attribute of the card selected.

Card Stories, Text Messages and Calls [ edit | edit source | hide ]
Card stories are unlocked when a player reaches certain level thresholds for the card. These card stories consist of dates and situations with the MC and the featured male lead in the card.
Completing these card stories will also reward S-Chips and increase the Affection level with the character, which can be claimed when selecting the gift icon on the card from the Card Details screen.
Private Messages [ edit | edit source | hide ]
Main Story SR cards have Private Messages. These feature short ASMR-like audio that the player can listen to. In the beginner Vision tutorial with Davis, one SR containing private messages will be randomly drawn. Cards with Private Messages include:
It is recommended to evolve and level at least one of these cards to 70 due to the Rookie Tasks requiring a player to listen to both Private Messages on one card.
Skills [ edit | edit source | hide ]
Card skills can be passive skills that automatically activate at battle start, or active skills which activate when a card is used. The majority of cards affect Influence (Attack) or Defense, such as increasing a player's own Influence /Defense, dealing more damage to an argument (enemy), or lowering an enemy's Influence /Defense.
There are also some R cards which have skills that activate when placed in the Support Deck such as cards with the skill Formidable.
These skills can be upgraded using various skill up items that can be obtained from Anomaly Levels and NXX Headquarters - File Room.
It is recommended to first focus on SSR/SR offensive skills that boost Influence % such as:

- Deals X% Influence DMG to a single argument
- This is a more selfish skill but can still be a good skill to raise, especially in conjunction with buffs.
- General Attack Buff for all cards
- Similar to Layer by Layer, but limited to a specific subset of attribute cards

Main Story 01-16
Before the trial, the main character is seen in the waiting room fretting over whether to use the last-minute surveillance footage provided by Winnie Cooper, while Artem is seen back at Themis Law Firm arranging an appointment with Vyn Richter to have the MC evaluated as both his potential partner and investigation team member.
At the trial, the MC faces off against Howard Syter of Baldr Legal Office, presenting the evidence to successfully convince the judge this is a criminal case instead of one appropriate for a civil suit. The civil suit is dismissed, but Vernon Green is led away in regretful tears for Pedro Brooks as he is handed over to law enforcement.

The quest in Tears of Themis is based on the age-old card game of the same name where players have to make pairs of the same number and discard them. The one who gets rid of their cards first will win. Even though we all have played it many players weren’t able to play the old maid card game in Tears of Themis. Players should swipe up on the cards to choose any one of them, then the card will flip and if you have the same number the pair will get discarded automatically.
Many players on Reddit and Twitter complained they weren’t able to complete the quest because they were tapping on the cards instead of swiping. In case you lose the game cards will be reloaded and you will get another chance. Players need to win the game to get the information from the character. Oracle of Justice and Stellin can be used to level up cards to increase their stats. The amount of Oracle of Justice and Stellin required increases based on rarity and level.
Evolving [ edit | edit source | hide ]
A player can evolve a card at Level 40, and for SR/SSR cards, Level 70 as well. Evolving a card increases a card's level cap from 40 to 70, and then 70 to 100. New skills will also be unlocked when evolving.
In addition, the card art will also change when evolving. For SR/SSR cards, the first evolution will slightly change the card art, while the second evolution will have more visible changes.
