About the development team
Below Zero is being created by Unknown Worlds, a small studio that traces its roots back to the 2002 Half-Life mod Natural Selection. It is the same studio that created the original Subnautica. The team is scattered around the globe, from the United States to the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Austria, Australia, Canada, and many more places.

Swim beneath the blue-lit, arching expanses of Twisty Bridges. Become mesmerized by the glittering, mammoth crystals of the Crystal Caverns. Clamber up snow covered peaks and venture into the icy caves of Glacial Basin. Maneuver between erupting Thermal Vents to discover ancient alien artifacts. Below Zero presents entirely new environments for you to survive, study, and explore.

Bandai Namco и Unknown Worlds определились с датой запуска «выживача» Subnautica: Below Zero — 14 мая игра появится на PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation, Xbox и Nintendo Switch.
Напомним, действие Below Zero происходит спустя год после событий первой Subnautica. Вам предстоит выживать на морозной планете. Выживать — значит собирать ресурсы, мастерить инструменты, утолять жажду и голод, а также спасаться от хищников. Сюжет прилагается.
Компьютерная версия Subnautica: Below Zero томится в раннем доступе. За игру просят 999 рублей.

В свежем апдейте к Subnautica: Below Zero добавили почти весь сюжет и полную озвучку
С точки зрения сюжетной кампании Subnautica: Below Zero вплотную приблизилась к релизному состоянию: в свежем апдейте Relics of the Past не хватает разве что концовки. Зато есть разные изменения.
Список основных особенностей Relics of the Past:
- Полное озвучивание для сюжетной кампании.
- Переделанный внешний вид главной героини.
- Новые тайники загадочной древней расы Архитекторов.
- На краю мира можно встретить нового Левиафана — Хелицерат Пустоты. Это редкая мутация Хелицератов, которой совершенно не нравится ваше присутствие.
- В настройках доступности появилась новая опция — ставить игру на паузу, когда вы открываете карманный компьютер. Таким образом, можно читать данные и не бояться, что у вашего персонажа закончится кислород или начнётся переохлаждение.
- Если у вас есть с собой маячок, он отметит место вашей смерти. Благодаря этому после респауна вы сможете вернуться туда, где погибли, и подобрать потерянные вещи.
- Различные мелкие улучшения, включая новые декоративные предметы от поклонников.

Construct habitats and vehicles
Survive the harsh climate by constructing extensive habitats, scavenging for resources, and crafting equipment. Blast across the snowy tundra on a Snowfox hoverbike. Cruise through enchanting and perilous biomes in your modular Seatruck.
