Check out that video but basically a TL:DR
Floor 1 ALWAYS has an open shop ALWAYS with a donation machine.

You can just clear floor 1 with azazel or the keepers alt and donate that way
or play as maggy with the pill unlock and hope for the spikes on floor 1 and hope for coins instead of soul hearts.

This will probably be patched soon to either Lock the floor 1 shop, make the donation machine work like greed, or remove donation machines from floor 1.

there's a chance you die getting to that point,
there's a chance you don't get a ton of money on the later floors.

you do the first floor, donate and reroll or get no money you just reroll.

I've had 43 coins on the first floor to donate.

It's a tutorial for new players so if they wanted to they could spam the first floor and get to 999.

you might fill in the donation machine a bit quicker constantly reseting but even without really focusing on it I managed to get my donation machine broken in just a couple days of playing, the real trick is holding back the five coins you need for arcades and getting blood donation machines, even on hard mode they pay out every item you use them and can earn a lot of extra coins that way.

Seems the donation machine jam less now as well, routinely been able to put 50 coins in

Автомат для пожертвований (Donation Machine) — вид игрового автомата, добавленный в The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Всегда находится в Магазине ( : С небольшим шансом заменяется на Автомат пополнения), также иногда может быть найден в Хранилище и Игровой комнате.

• Автомат забирает по 1 монете у персонажа при касании, сохраняя вложенные в него деньги на протяжении всех забегов. Во время пожертвования существует шанс в 5%, что автомат заклинит и дальнейшие вложения в этой игре будут невозможны.
• Также, автомат может быть взорван, что заставит его выбросить 3-5 монет, списав их со "счёта" протагониста. Сам автомат не уничтожим.
• Максимальное количество возможных вложенных монет может быть не более 999.
  • После достижения своего лимита автомат для пожертвований взрывается (не нанося урона персонажу), разбрасывая вокруг 12 червонцев. В последующих играх он так же будет присутствовать, но его запас монет будет обнулён.

  i found this while playing with the lost.

  find a donation machine ( one that allows you to donate more than 20 coins)
  then save the game by, esc --> exit game( i saved the game a room before where the donation machine was)

  after that just: donate as much as you can --> kill yourself( i did this way)--> alt +f4 before the "i died" message--> start game--> hit continue --> repeat

  this will allow you to keep donating.
  and yes, you get the achivments this way.

  i did a few legit " donation runs only" and its kinda boring.

  i did that a lot of times( got from 400 to 600 coins donated), but still takes way to much time

  I managed to get it to 999 easily without any cheating. It's a matter of understanding if keeping the money on you will be helpful for the run, or if the machine doesn't jam.

  Of course I have almost 100 hours of play time, so I can't really say it was fast. xD

  Ik you are a baddie and were excepting for this comment, sad thing is people like you will come to brag on forums saying "i have RPG. " when we know half your runs are legit.

  And yes I am sad, Edmund must think the community is really stupid sometime, he puts a lot of time & effort in his game and people are searching all the ways except the one consisting in playing the game to end it. I would be sad. A challenging game that all the noobs bought because of the hype and now they are trying to do what a noob does : find the easiest way even if it's not playing the game to end it.

  bunch of noobs, i really hope Ed will patch this exploit, use a cheat engine to do your runs it will be easier you'll see.

  You people, you have a good game that takes time and you just want to rush it because you are too bad / lazy to do it in the legit way

  Почему в некоторых (крайне редких) случаях персонаж не может подобрать монету? Она не добавляется к счётчику монет, а просто с характерным звуком падает обратно на пол. С чем это может быть связано? На баг не похоже, поскольку есть соответствующие звук и анимация. Модов нет и не было. Случалось как в Afterbirth+, так и в Repentance.   Зоя, Неужели в голову сама не приходила мысль попробовать взорвать ее? По моему любому человеку, видя что то непонятное в айзеке что нельзя подобрать первым делом приходит в голову взорвать это. А еще при ее открытие была плашка с достижением в котором было название "липкая монета".

  Korvin, не было такой мысли. Я думала, что на это влияет какой-то артефакт, поэтому проверяла на вики возможные взаимодействия артефактов с монетами. Да и плашка с достижением была 100+ часов назад, не запоминать же каждую

  Примечания

  • Не рекомендуется превышать порог в 999 монет во избежания его обнуления, чтобы в последующих забегах можно было пополнять свои запасы монет из автомата при помощи бомб.
  • Любое вложение имеет небольшой шанс поднять удачу героя на 1.
  • Вложение 10 и более монет увеличивает шанс появления Комнаты ангела.
  • Автомат для пожертвований не появляется во время ежедневных забегов и испытаний, а также в тех забегах, в которых используются сиды и модификации.
