All my servers are set with 2 reserved slots for admin use which are hidden, however some of our regulars complain that when admin joins they get kicked 'due to slot reservation'.
Why would this happen? Our servers are 24 public slots + 2 hidden slots which are 'reserved'.
That's how slot reservations works. If your server has 24 people in it, and an admin joins, it will kick one person to keep those two reserved slots free for other admins.make it so when the admins connect into that slot, they use the hidden slots so the server becomes 25/24 26/24.

Unfortunately, when I try to do this for the tank challenge (Sometimes the title message does not come up, but when it does. ) we cannot use this feature for the map. Because, for whatever reason, some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ put a slot reserved server on the best available dedicated list to be used for that map. I don't claim to know how that works, or how they did it, but because of where I live, I'm basically prevented from playing this map online with friends bar a lan session because of this. You have to acquire at least some understanding of what you need advices with. There's no list, there are dedicated servers all around, but "best available dedicated" option chooses. Oh shocker. The only one best available dedicated server from many.
It's not always the same server. So nobody put an option on the server you always played on before. You're just getting a different server now.
Use GameTracker site, use server browser, use steam group servers, change your download region, play on official dedicated after all.

"Official dedicated" means official 30tick servers held by Valve. You can play whatever the custom campaign you want on those. Tell me about "mixed bags".

I'm no noob to this game, I run expert matches with my friend and believe that expert is basically the new normal for this game because everything else is too easy by this point. Like despite what you're saying, you CANNOT have custom maps on valve's official dedicated servers. It says they ARE NOT FOUND, and will ask if you want to host a best available dedicated.
Furthermore, if you check the legacy browser for this game, you'll get an indepth look at what valve servers are. Which are basically 0/4 empty servers until a player hosts a server. The maps they have are always the official map's beginning chapter unless they are being filled and played through.
That may be different for you, because you're Russian, but that's how it works for me.

If you want me to be polite, be polite yourself.
If you checked my profile, you'd also see that I'm mostly a peaceful person, but not when I get a sнitty (no pun intended) attitude towards myself.
Contradictory information? Care to point out? What I've seen so far, as I said in my previous post, is you saying that you know stuff and push from facts, but in the end you don't know much and your examples of "facts" are weird.
I don't say you're a freak for arguing with me. I say that you contradict with what you said before, which is, again, weird + you argue with me me when I actually know what I talk about, no biggie for me, but that's silly. If you cared to point out what in my words is doubtful, I'd give you a legit explanation why it's not.
It's a common problem with official servers now, nobody knows what happened exactly, but it's become like that. Happens even with official l4d maps. Since I played this game before you, frequently and only on official servers until I hit 500 hours mark maybe, I know it's like that now and it used to be alright before. To believe me or not, it's your choice. You wanted useful advices- they're here.
Doesn't depend on ethnicity and regions e.t.c either.
I think you need to fully realize your problem (possibly re-read what I told you) before you accept any advices:
• There will be no magician that will tell you how to magically make that server dissapear, because things don't work like that, unless the server is shut down.
• While that server is active, you'll always have it as the best pick, unless there are better servers.
Why did I write my first comment in the first place? So you understand that, if you want to play in your region, you'll have to manually look for servers, if you want to have a nice game and not on some modded server. If that's not a solution for you, then I for sure don't know what do you expect from the people on here to tell you.
Last resort: get the server information, find its admin and ask him to ban you on it, so you won't get it again.

Смотрите readme cheating-death. Я не знаю ,что за хрень, но это как -то связано с Valve-античит, которая встроена в CS начиная с версии cs 1.4. В файле liblist.gam найдите secure "1" исправьте на secure "0" -это выключит Вальве античит. Вроде бы всё должно быть нормально. Или в start.bat допишите -insecure

Подобные проблемы возникали когда только начали на CZ ставить моды на метамоде 1.17 это было вызвано тем, что метамод не справлялся с большим количеством новых переменных. лечилось установкой специальной библиотеки nsv_mm.dll из мода NSV, которая удаляет "лишние" неиспользуемые переменные и вычищает место под необходимые (примитивное объяснение). После подгрузки этой библиотеки все приходило в норму.

After receiving a notification on the main menu from a community server (Dropped due to slot reservation), the scoreboard can't be summoned using tab. It can be fixed by restarting CS:GO, or switching to Windowed and back to Fullscreen (or vice-versa) while in game.
It only seems to occur with this specific error, and I'm not sure if this is a native game client error or a custom one summoned by the server. Other generic errors don't cause this issue to appear. But the error is definitely reproducible when dropped due to a slot reservation
