Hello everyone, I've got a pretty unique issue, it seems.
I have a whitelist of users, and onine-mode is set to true. I can log in just fine, since I am whitelisted. However, if I set online-mode to false, I get an error trying to connect to the server, saying I am not white-listed. My goal is for me to be able to connect with online-mode set to false.
Here is what I have tried:
Clean server
Clean Windows install
UAC disabled
Firewall off
Whitelist set to false, still the same error
Whitelist set to false and adding myself to the whitelist after setting online-mode to false
Whitelist set to true and adding myself to the whitelist after setting online-mode to false
Currently, the only "solution" is for me to leave online-mode true, but I need false. If online-mode is set to true, I can connect fine whether I am using a whitelist or not.
I can only imagine it being a configuration issue or a lack of understanding on how this owrks, but I found nothing on google.

Решение данной проблемы:
Переходим в "Панель управления - управление - настройки server.properties" - изменяем значение white-list, на выключить (false).

Hello everyone. I am hosting a private Minecraft 1.8 server for my friends in real life, and I need to set up the whitelist. However, with the white-list on, and my username with all my friends' usernames on the whitelist, it says for everyone, "You are not white-listed on this server!" I've had this problem for a while even in 1.7.10, hoping Mojang would fix the problem in 1.8. But they have yet to do so. And I see other 1.8 servers with their whitelists working, and I have no idea how they did it. Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.
