Just looked t the other game. Never played it.
There seems to be fewer parts but all parts are very modifiable. So in terms of building it may be a bit more flexible.
That said though, the craft shown look very "plastic" while the parts in this game look a lot more realistic.
Also this game seems to give you more options in ways to modify playing and play modes while from what I have seen in that other game, it is only a sandbox with a few challenge missions or something.
I'd say it is a tough call and depends what you are looking for from the game.
If you want to learn in a more realistic fashion then KSP.. If you just want to play around building large stuff then probably the other one.

You could get this in KSP, but you have to mod it and its a little bit of work (which is the minor problem) and you could bug out or destroy your game with it. Same - I own KSP but won't be playing it until I get a new PC. Otherwise it's just a drag. I hope you're right about SR 2 being better in that regard. Are you sure, as in you've tested it, or are you just looking at the requirements?
My PC has been a trooper, but right now I'm playing COADE, and each time I press "run a turn", it's time for a coffee refill/bathroom break.
Simplerockets 2 vs ksp?
Since I watched the trailer of the new rocket game it seems SR2 is more alike to ksp:
they both has the same stars pictures when you go onto star map
SR2 is more simpler and easier than ksp -SR2 cost less than buying that $40 game I DONT KNOW WHY.
It may be best game ever to be played and better than ksp but Im not sure about that yet.
Is KSP better than Simple Rockets 2?
So can i return Simple Rockets 2 without any bad feelings?

KSP i like better than simple rockets. Both are very accurate, but KSP has more charm. The little green men in the corner changes everything. KSP doesn’t take itself too seriously, it’s just extremely charming and fun.
I can tell you that from the videos SR2 looks like a sandbox and very simplified version of kerbal, from little space to imagination and creativity, missions and their complexity are missing; and you have no control over characters like kerbal.
as far as physics is concerned, Kerbal is well cared for (although with some limitations) you can watch videos by Randy Dobson or by Scot Manley.
I would point directly to kerbal, but this is still a personal and individual choice.
Kerbal has a lot more “fun” gameplay, as in random crap that happens and makes you laugh. I also feel like it’s more immersive as a space exploration game. You feel more attached to your crew, and then in itself has gotten me to come back for thousands of hours. Simple Rockets 2 does a lot of stuff really well, though, like all the dimensions you can specify and customize. The only issue, is that there are so many free mods for KSP that give you all of that functionality, KSP just has more options.
Like someone else said, Simple Rockets is great on mobile, but go for the biggy on PC!
