Время от времени в асимметричном хоррор-экшене Dead by Daylight появляются персонажи из разных франшиз, и на этот раз портал открылся в Silent Hill. Вместе с выходом обновления 4.0.0 Шерил Мейсон присоединится к выжившим, а Палач, он же Пирамидоголовый, станет убийцей. Их навыки уже известны.

Шерил Мейсон

Оберег души — Вылечившись или восстановившись из предсмертного состояния, вы получаете эффект «Стойкость» на 4 сек. Если на вас действует порча, вы можете самостоятельно восстановиться из предсмертного состояния.
Кровный договор — Если вы или объект одержимости ранены, то видите ауры друг друга. Вылечив объект одержимости или будучи вылеченным объектом одержимости, вы оба получаете эффект «Спешка» на 4 сек. Уменьшает вероятность стать объектом одержимости. Навык отключается, если вы становитесь объектом одержимости.
Скрытый союз - Активируется, когда вы чините генератор суммарно 80 сек. Во время действия навыка нажмите кнопку активной способности во время починки генератора, чтобы призвать сущность заблокировать его на 30 сек. После этого навык отключается. Ауры заблокированных генераторов подсвечиваются для всех выживших.

Палач

Принудительная мера — Если выживший принимает удар на себя, на него накладывается эффект «Ослабление» на 20 сек.
Тропа терзаний — Сломав генератор, вы получите эффект «Незаметность» на 15 сек. В это время аура генератора подсвечивается для выживших желтым. Эффект может сработать только один раз в 120 сек.
Смертельные узы — Когда выживший восстанавливает другому выжившему состояние здоровья в 32 м от убийцы и более, совершивший лечение закричит, выдавая свое расположение. При этом активируются «Смертельные узы» на 45 сек. В это время на выжившего будет действовать эффект «Забывчивость», если он отойдет от вылеченного товарища более чем на 16 м.

Помимо выжившего и убийцу, в игре также появится новая карта «Начальная Школа Мидвитч» — одна из локаций Silent Hill. С полным списком изменений вы можете ознакомиться на официальном форуме.

Выход обновления ожидается в июне 2020 года, но оценить нововведения можно уже сейчас на публичном тестовом сервере.

Кровавый договор (англ. "Blood Pact") — уникальный навык персонажа Шерил Мейсон. Становится доступным для других выживших после покупки обучающего навыка в кровавой паутине или храме тайн. Оказывает влияние на текущего игрока и объект одержимости.

Caring and impulsive, Cheryl Mason, previously known as Heather, attempted to rebuild her life after the tragic death of her adoptive father, Harry Mason.

While she had freed herself from the religious cult that pursued her since birth, she was shackled by the guilt of her father's death. A darkness punished her every night under the guise of abominable nightmares.

To ease her conscience, she volunteered at a crisis intervention centre for troubled youth. Three months later, she aced training and could answer the crisis line without supervision. Yet little could have prepared her for the first call. All she heard was static. The air thickened as black fumes rose from the ground and suddenly she heard the voice of a woman — someone she thought she'd never hear from again.

Why do you cling to this corrupt world? You know that only God can save us.

It couldn't be her — Claudia was dead. Suddenly, the world spun and she dropped to her knees, nauseous. Hot bile travelled up her throat and she retched warm blood on the floor. Then the spinning stopped as swiftly as it began. Cheryl looked up and saw she was somewhere else. A cold, hopeless place.

Cheryl's Perks

These are Perks which start off only appearing in Cheryl's Bloodweb . After achieving Level 30, Teachable versions of these Perks can be found:

Soul Guard - Level 30
Blood Pact - Level 35
Repressed Alliance - Level 40

Once obtained, other Survivors will be able to find Cheryl's Perks in their respective Bloodwebs from that point onwards.

You have been through immense hardship and you're stronger for it.

Soul Guard allows you to completely recover from the Dying State when you are affected by the Cursed Status Effect.

Soul Guard has a cool-down of 30 seconds .

It is as if a latent part of yourself has awakened.
You feel like you can reach out beyond yourself for assistance.

When you or the Obsession are injured, you both see each other's Auras .

The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

You are accustomed to being hunted by malicious forces, and you have begun using it to your advantage.

Players can customise their Character by choosing one outfit style from each category. Blood-stained attire is obtained after Cheryl reaches Level 50 and prestiges.

Cheryl Mason is the fourteenth licensed Character to be introduced to Dead by Daylight .

Cheryl introduced a new type of Customisation option, an Outfit Set of the new LegendaryRarity, which transforms Cheryl into Lisa Garland, another Character from the Silent Hill franchise.

Silent Hill characters Alessa Gillespie and Cybil Bennett are also available as outfits.

Через три месяца она блестяще завершила обучение и получила право самостоятельно работать на горячей линии поддержки. но ничто не могло подготовить ее к тому первому звонку. Сначала в трубке звучали лишь помехи. Воздух сгустился, у земли заклубился темный туман, и внезапно раздался женский голос, который Шерил не ожидала услышать вновь.

Но это невозможно, ведь Клаудия мертва. Перед глазами все поплыло, и Шерил упала на колени, чувствуя тошноту. Горячая желчь обожгла горло, да так, что девушку вырвало кровью. Но головокружение прошло так же резко, как и началось. Шерил осмотрелась и поняла, что оказалась в другом, полном холода и отчаяния месте[1].
