Call to Arms is an upcoming real-time tactics and third-person shooter video game developed by Digitalmindsoft. Call to Arms is stated to be the "true successor" of the Men of War games.

Gameplay [ ]

There are four playable factions in Call to Arms. Only two have a campaign at the moment. The United States Army and the Global Revolutionary Movement. The rest include the UAF, Eastern Rebels. Germany and Russia are also available in beta to those who have purchased a season's pass or ultimate edition.

Но слабоватый ИИ в миссиях.

Игра достаточно интересная и лично мне она очень понравилось. Научиться играть в неё не очень сложно даже тем кто не знаком с "В тылу врага. Штурм 2" и прочими.
В игре есть онлайн. К сожалению не очень большой(по моим наблюдениям) но все же есть. Можно сыграть против людей, или пригласить друга и вместе пытаться выиграть ИИ.
Так же мне очень понравилось прямое управление юнитами(больше техникой т.к. за обычного солдата выглядит малость кривовато). Достаточно интересная фишка.
Единственное, что в игре меня не устраивает, да и думаю некоторых тоже, это урон. Да если ты включить хардкорный реализм, он в большинстве исправит это. Но когда ты играешь за технику и из крупнокалиберного пулемёта косить толпы пехоты, а они выдерживают несколько выстрелов, это достаточно сильно портит впечатление. С техникой такая же проблема. РПГ просто может не повредить вообще ничего даже если это обычный бронеавтомобиль. Танки. Ну допустим я поверю что танк может пережить несколько попаданий из гранатомёта, или даже из пушки. Но. Когда ты стреляешь Подкалиберными снарядами и с четвёртого выстрела выводишь из строя башню,становиться как то грустно.особенно если учесть что противник может с первого выстрела вывести твою технику из строя. Если бы это исправили, было бы гораздо круче.
P. S. Игру я все-таки порекомендую тем, кому нравится Штурм и тп, но будте готовы к тому что здесь очень живучая пехота и техника(за исключением хардкорного реализма, да и то не всегда).

Call to Arms offers an innovative mix of real-time strategy and 3rd, as well as 1st person controls. Set in the time of modern warfare, the game offers realistically modeled vehicles and heavy weaponry, as well as dozens of firearms and customizations. Command your troops to victory or fight by yourself in the 3rd or 1st person action mode.

Conquer rural areas, factories, railway stations and towns during intense missions and use the environment to your advantage. Cover is everywhere, and almost everything can be destroyed. An unseen amount of challenges are awaiting you in exciting, yet competitive online combat supported by Steamworks!

Real-Time Strategy

Control several dozen units and place your squads in cover, flank your enemies and support your allies while advancing to the next key objective. Plant claymores, fortifiy FOBs, or set up mortar positions. There is an endless amount of options to choose in the RTS mode of Call to Arms.

1st/3rd Person Controls

Not only can you defeat your enemies as a commander, but also by taking over any of your individual soldiers. You can control them in 3rd person view, as well as first person. The game has no limits!

Tanks

Take over one of your vehicles at any time and join the heat of combat during intense tank warfare! Call to Arms offers you the ability to control every single unit to the last bit, including the type of ammunition you can use to take out enemy targets.

Helicopters

If you need that little bit of extra fire power, then hop into a helicopter and support your allies in online matches with some serious air support that leaves no room for escape!
