Looks like the problem is RTSP message too long . I bumped up the RTSP message buffer size limit last year after noticing that we were getting close to the limit. moonlight-stream/moonlight-common-c@e5b6a2b

I think @d3m3vilurr just needs to update moonlight-common-c and release a new build.

Cool! Could you please upload it to another cloud storage? As you can´t download from baidu without an account, which you can´t create without an id and chinese phone number :(

I agree, can't register to download as well.

For the past few weeks I have been using moonlight to game stream games from my windows 10 laptop to my iPhone and it’s been working great. I only do this on my local network and have not had any problems until today when I am getting the below error message.

Today I tried to load up moonlight and get the below error message - RTSP handshake failed with error 500 Check your firewall and port forwarding rules for ports TCP48010 and UDP48010

When I take WiFi off my phone and use 4g I get the same message as above but error 6.

I have disabled my firewall completely, ran the moonlight tool which says my ports are open and my laptop should be good to stream. I have checked and my ports are open and visible. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? I have no idea why it’s suddenly stopped working, the ports stated above seem to be open. I have looked in github and followed their advice but I can’t seem to get this working at all.

Can only apologise I am a total tech novice so please go easy on me! Would just love to stream my games to my phone.

Before and after I upgrade to 3.1.3, everything works fine. But, maybe 1 week after the upgrade, it suddenly stops working. I do not change any settings during the days.

I'm using moonlight-qt over Tinc VPN, on a arm64 windows laptop. VPN works fine. Connectivity test passed.

Try again with geforce experience 3.21

@Valas71 Thank you for your reply. Downgrade to 3.21 do not solve the problem.

I have switched to sunshine. It works, but not perfect.

I have the exact same problem. I haven't used moonlight before, using it on a brand new PC as well as an older one. Have tried the android client (on two diff phones) as well as on 2 PCs now, always the same error 10060 on PCs, 552 on Android. No network firewalls, or host OS f/w disabled. Have trued streaming Steam, Epic and Blizz games, same result. Would love some help if you point me in the right direction.

EDIT: Sunshine works perfectly with Moonlight -although I would have preferred hardware encoding. Have tried this on both PCs failing with Moonlight and both work with Sunshine/Moonlight, beginning to think it's GeForce Experience that's the issue. Have tried uninstalling drivers and experience and clean installing, no luck.

I also have the exact same problem: RTSP handshake error 10060 on the Windows client and 552 on Android (latest client in each case) within the local network. I am using NVidia Experience 3.23.0.74. A week ago everything was working fine. I have tried everything on the Moonlight troubleshooting list and more, all to no avail. Then I installed NVidia Experience 3.23.0.74 on my wife's computer, where it had never been installed before. The computer is on the same LAN and everything works fine on this one!

Have the exact same problem with 10060.. created an account here just for this.
I had Moonlight working when connecting to my game pc and played for a couple hours yesterday.
Today I tried too connect but I received the same error.
Tried to disable the firewall and removed Windows Updates but no luck..
The game pc is on the same network as my computer so all ports should be open.

Any tips or can someone respond that they know about this problem?
For now untill this has been fixed I'm gonna use Parsec since that works for now.

Thanks for your time

Normal pc: Moonlight Version 3.1.4
Game pc: Nvidia Geforce Experience 3.23.0.74

I had this same issue on my machine with an internal RTX 3080 and an external RTX 3090 connected at the same time. My display was connected via DisplayPort to the RTX 3080. When I disconnected and safely removed the RTX 3090 via RDP, and rebooted, the issue went away and things started working.
Not sure if it's related to multiple GPUs, having an eGPU, or both, but figured I'd relay my findings.

When connecting to the host pc from my laptop, Im getting RTSP handshake failed: Error 10060 but only while using wired on the host, wireless connection works fine.

Was able to troubleshoot. The problem was the geofilter of my router blocking the nvstream server. Once the server got white listed connection was established fine.

same issue here latest version on all. just installed all components to try and can't get it to work
