Pokémon Black Version (яп: ポケットモンスター ブラック Pocket Monsters Black) и Pokémon White Version (яп: ポケットモンスター ホワイト Pocket Monsters White) — это парные версии игр основной серии пятого поколения для Nintendo DS, действие которых происходит в регионе Юнова. Игры были выпущены в Японии 18 сентября 2010 года, в Европе 4 марта 2011 года, в Северной Америке 6 марта 2011 года и в Австралии 10 марта 2011 года. I have never played gen 5 and was wondering which is the better game? If I was to choose I would pick White because I like Zekrom better. But I want to know the differences between the 2 games to make my mind up.
Like with most pokemon games, pretty much the only difference comes with the pokemon you can get. Check the list of exclusive pokemon and make up your mind with that.
Personally, I chose black, if you want to know.
Everyone else is mostly spot-on, but there are a few key things to point out:
This is separate because this could be very important to you. In Black, you get Reshiram, in White, you get Zekrom. Then, in Black 2, you get Zekrom, and White 2 you get Reshiram. So unless you want two of the same dragon, get Black and Black 2, OR White and White 2.
What is the difference between the two series of games, you ask? Well, for starters, Black 2/White 2 follow the storyline of Black/White, but set two years later - you notice this as some places, like the desert, are built into cities. Also, Black/White was strictly only Generation 5 Pokemon, while Black 2/White 2 had a mix of all five generations of Pokemon littered throughout the games.
You start off in a different starting point in Black 2/White 2 and a different journey compared to Black/White, unlike, say, Red/Blue --> FireRed/LeafGreen or Gold/Silver --> HeartGold/SoulSilver.
tl:dr: I would get one of each, based on the different features of the original and the sequel.
ALSO: going to get SoulSilver and AlphaSapphire
Um, not to be rude or anything, but why did you pick Diamond for gen 4 over Platinum? Platinum is better than D&P in a lot of ways, better story, better pokedex, faster speed.
Or would it be best to skip Diamond overall because Platinum has all that Diamond has?
Could you get Black and then White 2, or is it best to stick with the same color?
The main difference between Black and White are aesthetic (some areas, more so in BW2, will differ depending on which version you get.)
Personally, I prefer White for their exclusives (Lilligant over Whimiscott, Reuniclus over Gothitelle, Braviary over Mandibuzz - check here for the rest!) and their version of Opelucid City.
