Welcome to the trophy guide for Paradox Soul. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Each trophy has a text walkthrough and starts off from the previous trophy.

Trophies

Platinum Soul
Get all other trophies .

He was dangerous
Kill an armed robot

After the dog, this will be your 3rd enemy type.

∙ From the dog, go right into the doorway.
∙ The armed robot is to your left.

Blue Screen of the death
Destroy a lock terminal

There are a few lock terminals in Paradox Soul. The only one we will destroy will let us access A33.

∙ Leave The elevator room.
∙ Go back to A25.
∙ Go left to A24.
∙ Left to A23.
∙ Left to A28.
∙ Left to A27.
∙ Go in the first door, then continue until you drop down a vertical shaft. go in A22.
∙ Continue through to A21.
∙ All the way down to A26.
∙ At the bottom of this room, shoot the lock terminal.

The elevator
Defeat 2nd boss.

The 2nd boss is a man in an elevator, nothing to worry about.

∙ From the bulldozer robot, go down right to A30.
∙ Down to A29 for the boss.

The Spider
Defeat 1st boss

The Spider is your first boss.

∙ To reach it, from the Facility Suit, go back to A06.
∙ Go back to A07.
∙ Up and right to A08 (Double jump).
∙ All the way right to A09 (Jump all the gaps).
∙ Right to A10 for boss.

Go to right corner, keep laying down firing left.
Switch to cover when spider comes down and open fire on him.
Stop when his turret appears.
Fire after the turret stops, then switch cover when he moves.
Repeat above strategy for other side.
Use left corner laying and fire right.
SPIDER WILL COME DOWN ON LEFT, so rush to right cover.
Rinse and repeat strategy.

Crush it
Kill a mini-robot

Your 4th enemy type after the armed robot. See The Spider trophy for details.

Do not pet
Kill a dog.

This will be your 2nd enemy type you run into.

∙ From the first running robot you killed, go all the way right into the door.
∙ The dog is in this room.

He wanted a hug
Kill a running robot.

This will be your first enemy type. See Armed.

Unlocking more doors
Get the 2nd ID Card.

The 2nd ID Card allows you to unlock more doors.

∙ From The Spider, leave the room.
∙ Down to A14 (You can bomb metal crates).
∙ Left to A13.
∙ Left to A12.
∙ Down to A17.
∙ Down left to A16.
∙ The ID Card is in the top left of this room (hold x for better jumps).

Electrocuted
Find the electro.

This will be your last upgrade. The electro power-up drops from The elevator. See The elevator.

Room 33
Reach Room 33.

Room 33 is a locked room, unlocked by a lock terminal.

From the lock terminal you destroyed:
∙ Go up to A27.
∙ Right to A28.
∙ Right to A33.

Unlocking doors
Get the 1st ID Card

This will be your first trophy as you need ID cards to progress the game.

∙ From game start: Go all the way right into the door.
∙ Go all the way right (Slide through the crawl space) and enter the door.
∙ Go right and enter the first doorway, at the end on the left is the ID Card.

Avoid been crushed
Kill a bulldozer robot

The bulldozer robot is your last enemy type. from the 2nd ID Card:
∙ Leave the room.
∙ Go right to A18.
∙ Right to A19.
∙ Down right to A20.
∙ Up right to A15.
∙ Grab the ID Card at the very top.
∙ Leave room.
∙ Down right to A25.
∙ Kill the bulldozer robot here (lure him to the air shaft).

Exploding
Find the bombs

This is your 2nd upgrade after the Facility Suit. The Spider boss will drop this. See The Spider.

Suit up!
Find the Facility Suit.

The Facility Suit upgrades your rolls and jumps.
∙ It can be found from the map (pick up), go back to A04.
∙ Then to A03.
∙ Then to A02.
∙ Down to A07 (You can shoot red boxes).
∙ Left and down to A06.
∙ Down to A11.
∙ At the bottom of this room is your Facility Suit.

Armed
Find a weapon.

Your weapon is the main means of progressing through enemies in the game.

∙ From the ID Card go all the way right and through the door.
∙ In the middle of this room is your weapon and your first running robot.

Finding a way
Find the map.

Welcome to the Paradox Soul Trophy Guide! This is a Metroidvania type game that has all the retro looks and feels. Shoot your way through robots and bosses to help Dr. Rose escape from this test facility!
