Moonlight Sculptor Pets Guide

Monsters can be tamed using Feed and made into companions that assist in combat. Pets can also grow through combat experience, and they have various skills by each type that help with the progression of the game. ‘Mercenaries’ and ‘Buddies’ obtained through Shop purchases and events, etc can also be managed in the Pet screen.

What are Moonlight Sculptor Pets?

Field monsters can be tamed and made into companions by using Pet Feed items and ‘Taming’.

The Archer class job is specialized for battling alongside pets.

Moonlight Sculptor Pets Taming Guide

‘Pet Feed’ can be purchased from a Pet Supply Merchant. Make sure you have reached Lv.45 first in order to purchase or sell items from Pet Supply Merchants like Lydia.

Use feed suited to a monster’s palate for a chance to tame them as a pet. The chances of taming a monster are influenced by the character’s Charisma.

Use Pet Feed and select the desired monster to tame them as a pet.

The selected feed must suit the monster’s palate. You can view a monster’s palate in the Codex The chances of successfully taming a pet are affected by the character’s Charisma stats.

Moonlight Sculptor Using Pets

In order to use pets Go to ‘Pets’ in the menu to manage and summon pets. If a pet is currently summoned, the pet’s level and HP are shown on the screen. Go to ‘Name’ to give pets a unique name or change a pet’s name.

If a pet’s summoning is canceled or they become unable to fight in the middle of combat, they can be summoned again after a period of time.

If you want to summon them without having to wait for a period of time, a ‘Subjugation Scroll’ item is needed.

You can use ‘Release’ to return pets back into the wild. Keep in mind that pets cannot be summoned again once released.

Battle alongside your pet to obtain XP and increase the pet’s own level. Use Blue Star Tablets for even quicker pet growth.


Archer Class can learn various skills for battling alongside pets, allowing for more cooperative combat with their pets than other jobs.

Moonlight Sculptor Mercenaries and Buddies

In addition to common monsters that are tamed and obtained as pets, ‘Mercenaries’ and ‘Buddies’ obtained through Shop purchases and events can also be managed in the Pet screen.

You can purchase and hire Mercenaries from the Shop, and they will aid in the battle for a certain period of time when summoned. Mercenaries are able to use the skills of human-type characters and do not grow beyond the level they were purchased at.

You cannot contract a mercenary with a level gap of 20 or more. You can contract multiple mercenaries at once, but only 1 mercenary can be summoned at a time.



Buddy Contracts can be purchased from the Shop, and they can be tamed by using contracts. Buddies do not participate in battle but can assist you in picking up items. Some Buddies can also grant specific buffs (ex. Increases XP gained from defeated enemies).


You can spend Buddy Feed purchased from the Shop to use Buddy’s Errand function. The General Storage Box can be accessed when using the Errand function, and items can be stored or retrieved from there.



Pets, Mercenaries, and Buddies can be summoned at the same time. Try forging ahead together on tougher adventures.

In the Moonlight Sculptor game, you can equip the gears like accessories, armors, and weapons to the character to make them stronger. There is a variety of weapons, armors, and accessories that you can shop or craft with equipment materials and equip to the character for power boost to perform well in the combat.

Each class prefers to have a unique equipment set like melee characters use melee weapons like a blunt, dagger, while ranged characters use weapons like bow and staff. Tap on the mini-map in the top-right corner to open the list of hotspot locations of NPCs and look for the equipment merchants. For instance, Lumberschmidt in Serraborg Castle is a weapon merchant. Marcy is an accessory merchant. And, Grassfiled is an armor merchant. Visit the NPC, tap on it, purchase/sell. And, there you can buy the equipment for your character.

First of all, visit the blacksmith on the map. Tap the map -> look for the blacksmith -> for instance, Parme is a blacksmith in the Serraborg Castle location. Visit the blacksmith NPC and you will find an anvil near its standing. Tap on the anvil to open the equipment crafting menu. When you tap on it, a new side screen with three tabs will open up; material, weapon, and tools.

You can craft materials required to craft the weapon, tools like fishing rod to fish in Moonlight Sculptor. You can also sell weapons to the blacksmith or weapon merchant.

Enchant Transfer: you can transfer the enchanted equipment stats to another piece of equipment. First, you select the source equipment, which will be lost after the process, then you select the target equipment, which will gain the stats or enchant level of the source equipment.

Customize: Increases the basic stats of the equipment.

Quality Improvement: Increases the quality of a heroic or better item.

Tap on the mini-map -> use the zoom in or zoom out button to check the world map or region map. On the region map, tap on the location -> make sure region info is turned on -> when you tap the location, region info will appear; you will see the monsters that you can find there, fish list, gathering items, gear items, etc. Based on your goal like crafting a certain type of equipment, you can start grinding and exploring the locations for material items.

To level up, you need EXP; complete the main quests, daily quests(unlocks at level 27), hunt monsters to gain EXP.

When you level up in Moonlight Sculptor(after level 10), you will gain the stat points, which you can spend in building the attribute of characters. You have to spend the stat points based on your current class. Tap on the current level figure in the top-left corner to open the attribute profile; there you will see recommended attributes to build. There are two types of skills in the Moonlight Sculptor game; combat skills and continuous skills. Combat Skills must be activated manually, while continuous skills remain in effect all the time. In the top-right corner, tap the menu button -> tap the skill option at the top -> it has two tabs; combat skill tab and continuous skill tab. Tap on the skill to check its details.

Combat skills must be placed in one of the hotspot attachment slots at the bottom. Tap on the skill to cast it; you will need MP or material items to cast the skills.

When you tap the skill icon, its info will open on the side -> at the bottom of the info page, you will see the skill upgrade option. Tap the + button to use skill books and gold to upgrade the skills.

Early Game: In the early game, you should focus on the main quests. You can level up quickly by completing these main quests and hunting the monsters.

Level 27: At level 27, you will be able to access the request board that gives daily quests. Make sure to complete them daily for free rewards. You will gain massive EXP from these daily quests.

Level 30: At level 30, you will be able to access the dungeon modes; daily dungeon mode offers rewards that change every day. Make sure to check it out and never miss the daily grind.

Level 35: At level 35, you will be able to access the Chaotic Entrance. Completing this dungeon mode grants you quality rewards; like various equipment, Option Stones, Enchant Scrolls, and much more. You will need Chaotic Entrance Tickets to participate.

Level 80: At level 80, you will be able to access the Mirkhan Tower. In this tower mode, you will progress through floors. Each next floor with more daunting difficulty. The character must have the Mysterious Curse de-buff to complete a set goal. At higher number floors, you get better rewards, but they are hard to beat. You will need to make your character stronger.

Level 100: At Moonlight Sculptor level 100, you get access to the Twisted Abyss mode where you team up with party members against the bosses and obtain the rewards. You can join friends; up to x4 players can join the party. All the members will need to have an entry ticket to participate in the Twisted Abyss game mode.
