As the title says I just want the Skin

One thing tho all the big bulky armor would cover her up hence defeating the whole purpose of playing as Ciri?

I am waiting on a sale to buy this game so not sure what I am gonna miss out on in the mean time.

A while late, I know, but here's an overall summary of how the Ciri gear works:

The mission you have to play to unlock the armour is a post-campaign mission. It is end-game gear.
You can make your Hunter look a bit like Ciri with the character creator but they will be very noticeably different. Like if you tried to make your character in an unmodded Skyrim look like her.
The armour set has to be worn as a full set or not at all - meaning your character will either look like Ciri when using it or will look like your normal hunter in their own gear.
There is a layered version that can be unlocked (essentially an alternate cosmetic-only skin that you can "wear" over and in place of your existing armour - this lets you get the stats of whatever armour your actually using but still look like Ciri in her Witcher 3 outfit). But this is unlocked from the same end-game mission that gets you the actual Ciri armour.

And will the armor spoil her perfect witcher look?

I don't want the ugly armor covering her up I want armor with witcher style for her, leather pants etc

Because monster hunter armors do not belong on Witcher 3 characters IMO. It spoils the perfect look of witcher 3 characters

It should be invisible or atleast be modeled for witcher 3 characters

I understand that for Monster Hunter Characters but I think changing the way Ciri looks and putting on those monster hunter armors is a bad thing.

I am just not accustomed to seeing my witcher 3 characters covered up is all and I don't want that.

You cannot mix any part of it.

This means you cannot change any part of it apart from the colour.

Also, you have already been told that you need to kill the Ancient Leshen. The minimum requirement is HR 50 and usually that kind of requirement is only for very skilled players. The average joe will probably be doing it only after some amount of grinding beyond HR 50.

So, it's pretty obvious a new character that is just starting out is not gonna be able to do that.

You can make your hunter look like Ciri, I guess. From the start, I mean. Then you gotta play until you reach HR50, at which point you'll be eligible to take on the quest that allows you to fight the Ancient Leshen.

Upon doing so, you'll be able to craft Ciri's armour full set (it's a Free Element + Evasion type set) as well as layered armour of Geralt and Ciri's set.

There's no mix and match, you either wear the full static outfit and look like Ciri, or you don't. Simple as that. Like the Bayek Layered armour.

Your character doesn't "become" Ciri, who can then wear Monster Hunter armour etc. Rather your character simply gets morphed into Ciri in a generic set of Witcher armour, etc - but still uses Monster Hunter tier weapons, unless you use the Witcher SnS.

・The difficulty for this quest is similar to Death March! difficulty in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
・Complete the quest to earn materials to craft the "Ciri α" full armor set and the "Zireael" dual blades, as well as earn delivery requests that allow you to get the materials needed for the Geralt Layered Armor and Ciri Layered Armor.
・Any bugs related to this quest on other platforms have already been fixed for Steam.

Note: This quest is available from Friday, May 17 00:00 to Thursday, May 30 23:59 UTC.

With the layered armor, you can look like Ciri indefinitely regardless of the armor you wear, but you have to beat the whole story & get to HR 50 before you can unlock the quest.

Все, что для этого требуется - выполнить контракт Woodland Spirit, который доступен охотникам 50 уровня и выше. В роли противника выступит Лешен в куда более смертоносной форме, чем он представал перед Геральтом в рамках события Trouble in the Ancient Forest. После убийства монстра открывается доступ к компонентам, необходимым для создания доспехов и редкого меча с двойным лезвием. Задание останется доступным до 28 февраля.
