ESO Best PvE Class, ESO Best pve dps

One of the greatest questions right now after the addition of Greymoor and a handful of new patches is, “Which ESO Class the highest possible Damage Per Second?” Or, if you’re anything like me while scanning my roster of favorite characters, “Which one of you is going to be the one to bring the pain this season, eh?!” Sweet, sweet pain…

When building towards End-game PvE, it’s different from PvP in that you’ve made a commitment to hit 810 in CP for yourself, not to just hammer some CP60 into the ground. I mean yes, by all means hammer them, but also know that you’re going off into exploring the rest of ESO as well. Not intimating that there is less skill involved in PvE…just that you have to be so much more mindful of what it takes to bring down the big-daddy bosses and hordes, DPS is your firepower and your ‘raison d’etre’.

With that brief reminder floating out in the air, like a giant meteor suspended above the city of Vivec, let’s see who’s who in Tamriel so far this year.

5. Stamina Sorcerer

Well, Stamsorc. You made it into the Top 5 for PvE DPS! Bravo! And it looks like your class got a wee bit of a facelift, too. Do yourself a favor, and concentrate the most on your AoE, please. In this variation, single-target does not appear to be granting the same level of DPS. And that’s why we’re all here, right? Super high damaging numbers…yum! Never, ever be afraid to broadside them with Carve, as it’s one of your very best friends. (Like maybe you guys should get matching tattoos, it’s that serious a thing.)

  • Woo! Stamsorcs have a new spammable in the form of Crystal Weapon! Works with light or heavy attacks, creates a two-hits in one effect while lowering opponents armor by 1000.
  • Quicksilver-fast feel, compounded by Wood Elf or Orc to round off your reflexes.
  • Ultimates cost the least to perform for this class, so let ‘em rip!

Ideas to work with:

4. Magicka Templar

“Look! My old She-Ra costume still fits!”

We are now entering Templar Territory. We ask that you do not feed the Templars as it only encourages them… It’s true. Templars are BEASTLY when it comes to racking up DPS. Aedric Spear is to the almost perfectly violent spell and please do not be afraid to utilize it. I mean, no one else is holding back with using it, promise. True, they are not as adept as their Stam counterparts for this kind of meaty gameplay, but they’re no slouches. They were just the second twin that was born maybe six minutes later.

  • Burning Light got a decent rebuild. Hitting Aedric Spear 4 times in reasonable succession triggers the passive now instead of having to wait for the 25% more damage previous to the patch.
  • Maglars equipping 5 pieces of the Medusa armor set ensure a 900 Spell Critical increase.
  • Effectively applying Overwhelming kicks your DPS while increasing your chance for Concussion.

These do come in your size:

3. Stamina Templar

Lisa took a few too many theater classes in college.

Ah ha! And here we have Big Brother Stamplar, a Class made specifically to run evildoers into the ground. Watch your butts, Vamps and Werewolves! As you grind your way up, you are going to have to slot and utilize many Magicka Skills…but never fear, as Level 50 can come super quick to those who grind hard. Your true colors come to the forefront and you emerge from the Magick chrysalis a veritable butterfly of blindingly lit doom. Enjoy yourself with the Stamplar, as their rotation is choreographed as smoothly as a jazz dance class.

Repentance is for those of you jelly about not being to pull healing from fallen corpses like the Necros do…without that guilty death-magic shame associated. Well, not much anyway.
Heavy attacks raise your Stamina levels, so make sure to pepper throughout rotation.
Once you hit 50 and start accruing CPs, kick your Magicka Skills to the curb and Stam out both Skill Bars. You will not be disappointed.

Take a look at these:

2. Magicka Dragon Knight

“Did Takis’s change their recipe, or is it just me?”

Of course, no “Top 5 List” ESO would be complete without a Dragon Knight coming into play. Refreshing that for once, it’s not a Stam DK holding court over the other Classes, isn’t it? DPS-seeking PvE is where Mag DK comes into its own and really shines. AoE Fire Damage is key with this class, so when in doubt, just set them all on fire! “How do you take your Clannfear? Mid-Rare? Medium? Well-done? It’s served with a spicy, sautéed Nirnroot…”

It is possible to clear 92k of DPS with this class, so that brings them so nearly to the Stamcro’s level. Bloodthirsty is now a force to contend with, with Weapon and Spell Damage now sitting at 350 against opponents under 90% health. Again, give the Medusa armor set a whirl on this Class.

  • Molten Whip is still one of the most supreme and reliable spammables…”I say whip it…whip it real good!”
  • Heavy Attacks refill your Magicka, so your game rhythm needs to always include them as part of the original recipe, not as an afterthought.
  • Got Health? In this order when you need it: Harness Magicka, Burning Embers, Coagulating Blood

For the discerning Mag DK Connoisseur:

1. Stamina Necromancer

“I totally forgot my other skulls at home. May I borrow yours?”

What would you say if I told you that you can pretty much have a taste of all the cool toys in one class? The Stamcro gives you that opportunity, no doubt, and that’s why they are the DPS Kings of PvE right now.

Sickeningly high DPS, Pets you don’t have to double-bar, the ability to sustain yourself from corpses you both create and also conjure yourself – all major components of what it means to be a Stamcro. Blast Bones alone is enough to make any player go gaga for the Necros in general. Just…watch which spells you’re flinging within town limits. Most of your Ability Bars are full of Criminal Acts, like Al Capone’s diary, capisce?

ESO Best DPS

In RPG’s there is always an ideal team dynamic consisting of the classic healer, tank and DPS troop. And whilst Elder Scrolls Online is no different in this regard, it does still beg the question of what makes a decent PvE character? With player vs player situations being more easy to navigate, some might be fooled into believing that PvE is a similar choice but it’s not always so.

In PvE it’s better if you can be a bit of an all-rounder in most situations, perhaps even forgetting about the ‘healer’ and ‘tank’ titles altogether. After all, what good is it if you can heal yourself but can’t defeat an enemy or when you take the agro your unable to do anything with it but survive and curse?

That’s where DPS comes in, and regardless of your build, doing damage and defeating your enemies will need to be at the forefront of your thoughts as you battle through Tamriel on your quest. DPS is one of the main focuses of the end game. It what helps you get through the trials. The key thing to remember is the more damage you can do to your target in single hits, the quicker you can bring them down and the better the chance you will win.

To make life and gaming just a little bit easier, here is a list of the top 5 DPS class builds that will ensure you not only come about victorious but don’t need a lifetime supply of soul gems just to see you through.

Bonus Tip

In the heat of battle, it can be harder to keep an eye on the hit points you are dealing to your enemy. However, this is an easy fix as there are several DPS tracker addons available to download that can help with this, such as Combat Metrics.

Darren Lingters

Darren Lingters

Так стаминщика собрать можно спокойно и без DLC. Один Саммерсет для Релеквина, Йокеда да Селена на голову. Эта сборка до сих пор актуальная вполне.

Darren Lingters

Darren, ну с этим вроде проблем нет как раз, всё быстро, резко и красиво, но толи релеквен не ветовский, толи я реально патау выше 15-17к и то 17к единожды не выходит.

Darren Lingters

eso best class to play, eso best class

“Mirror, Mirror on the wall… Which Solo Class Build will win them all?” Searching for or creating the perfect class build specifically for solo play can be daunting, as there is just so much information out in the world and so many variables to manipulate. That being said, coming up with a clear plan of which Class to start out with is the player’s first course of action.

Below is a Class Tier List built from ESO specific sites, forums and in-game feed. Not all players or communities are in perfect agreement or concert with each other over which PvE Class is “the best”, but a large sampling did make the general favorites more apparent. Always remember that Classes considered to be strong in PvP may not have the same satisfying results in solo gameplay. Use this handy guide before choosing a more specific build recipe for your next character.

Class “S”

Class “A”

Mag Blade 89/100

Stam Sorc 85/100

Class “B”

Stam Blade 83/100

Class “C”

Class “D”

Class Tier “S”

These are the “cream of the crop” at this standpoint, taking into consideration newer changes with patches and the addition of the Necromancer Class. Each has multiple strengths to play up to, making each a fine choice. Across the board, way more positive features with each Class than drawbacks, and great information to have in your arsenal.

“Here I go again on my own…” – sang every Magicka Sorc ever.

Mag Sorc – Magicka Sorcerer “The Favorite”

The Mag Sorc is a primo choice, given many players are comfortable with their gameplay, while the DPS on most advanced spells is worth the hard work earning them. Not to mention, the advanced spells are breathtaking to behold. Not kidding about the cost of Gear-upkeep, however, in order to have enough Magicka to pull off the big spells. Patience with the grind definitely produces very positive results.

The Goods:

  • Extremely High single-target DPS.
  • Excellent AoE
  • Crowd Control is reliable.

The Bads:

  • It is a slow grind up to the more exciting Skills.
  • Must always be mindful of gear leveling and repair, very Gear-Based capabilities.

Magicka Necrmancer (While he never got over the break-up with Malia, Tomas became a very successful Magicka Necromancer in his own right.)

2. Magcro - Magicka Necromancer “The Rebel”

The Necromancer may ironically end up being one of the more versatile Classes of all, regardless of their terrible working relationship with Tamriel Law Enforcement. Definitely one of the characters that scratch that “Bad Guy, Good Guy” itch, with the amount of power Necros command, and remarkably enough, the amount of healing. Magcros fall higher in the list than their sibling, the Stamcro, because they are intentionally built to fling spells. Of the two, Magcro is infinitely more reliable in that sense. Fantastic Class!

The Goods:

  • Highest DPS to-date, possible quoted at 95k.
  • Extra expansive AoE. (Fun to layer large spells like, Boneyard and Totem).
  • Health Bonus, Recovery and Healing are excellent.
  • Highly Intuitive rotation.

The Bads:

  • Newest Class introduced, not as vetted as other Classes.
  • What mobility?
  • Many skills “assume” there are already bodies on the ground from which to draw power.
  • Many spells are “Criminal Acts”, so do not let fly while in town.

Stam DK - Stamina Dragon Knight “The Warhorse” The more he thought about it, the more Frank was starting to think becoming a professional exterminator wasn’t such a bad idea.

“Old Faithful” would be a fitting title for the Stam DK, because regardless of PvP or solo play, these guys are the autopilots of ESO. Great for beginners or just those who do not feel like being run over repeatedly, The Stam DK rarely disappoints. In fact, when they do, it’s normally from the lack of variety in lower-end gameplay. BONUS: Takes their role of ‘Supporting Actor’ very seriously, too!

The Goods:

  • Easy rotation for any level player.
  • Sustainability is excellent
  • Versatile (especially as Tank) in either PvP or PvE.

The Bads:

Class Tier “A”

So maybe these guys didn’t win medals of honor necessarily. It doesn’t matter, as they’re still at the top of their class! In all seriousness, no one is going to turn down a Mag Blade. A Stam Sorc is often at the top of the forums in discussion, and a Stamcro is just plain FUN.

Mag Blade - Magicka Nightblade “Bad Reputation”

The Goods:

  • High single-target DPS.
  • Impressive AoE.
  • Great Sustainability during battle.
  • More frequent availability of Ultimates.

The Bads:

  • Night Blades are notorious for difficult rotations, particularly for Newbies.
  • Breaks in rotation can leave Nightblades open to incredible damage from adversaries.

Stam Sorc -Stamina Sorcerer “The Workhorse”

The Goods:

  • Decent Single-target DPS.
  • Good AoE, initial burst is Great.

The Bads:

  • High level of predictability.
  • Not the most self-sustaining in the heat of battle.

Stamcro – Stamina Necromancer “The Dark Horse”

The Goods:

  • Incredibly self-sustaining in long-winded battles.
  • Impressive AoE, like the Magcro.
  • Very intuitive rotation.

The Bads:

  • Tanking requires draining enemies.
  • Still newer Class Build.

Class Tier “B”

A few more obstacles encountered when choosing to play like one of these Classes, but overall, still negotiable.

Stamplar - Stamina Templar “Garden-Variety Paladin”

The Goods:

  • Very High DPS in AoE and Single-target battles.
  • High Sustainability
  • Great Stamina

The Bads:

  • Rough flow to playstyle
  • Predictable Skill building.

Stam Blade - Stamina Nightblade “Elbow Grease”

The Goods:

  • Decent Sustainability
  • High DPS in both AoE and single-target battle

The Bads:

  • Super Gear-Reliant capabilities.
  • Rotation requires so much experience and practice.

Mag DK - Magicka Dragon Knight “The Flake”

The Goods:

  • Magicka Shield for defense
  • Versatile Skill-set
  • Reliable Single-target and AoE DPS

The Bads:

  • Rotation is not intuitive.
  • Limited possibilities for Solo

Class Tier “C”

Not saying these Class choices are completely off the table, but these are not for the weak of heart. What makes them strong in PvP often slays them in Solo. olo. Tread lightly.

Maglar – Magicka Templar “Case of Mistaken Identity”

The Goods:

  • Ranged and Melee are strong and balanced
  • Highly Sustainable in battle
  • Good DPS in AoE and Single-target

The Bads

Stamden - Stamina Warden “Not Everyone’s Cup of Tea”

The Goods:

  • Spells in gameplay are fun (Who doesn’t want to send a Cliff Racer to divebomb an opponent’s head?)
  • Self-healing is adequate
  • Option for conjuring multiple Pets.

The Bads:

  • Healing more aimed at group-play.
  • Mobility can feel cumbersome.
  • Rotation is only marginally less frustrating than that of any Nightblade, but without the great damage payout.

Class Tier “D”

Anyone choosing this Class Tier is just a glutton for punishment.

Magden – Magicka Warden “The Losing Bet”

The Goods:

  • Summoning flora and fauna is fun?
  • Decent Self-sustain.

The Bads:

  • The constant feeling of disappointment. Repeat this several times whenever tempted. “I will not build a Magden, I will not build a Magden.”
  • DPS will always feel like it’s falling short of expectation, therefore gameplay suffers.
