Early Access gives us the ability to receive and implement community feedback in a way that helps us more nimbly build a better game. Grounded is the type of experience in which community feedback will be critical, and Early Access will enable that feedback loop from the very beginning.” “We want to make the best experience possible and putting an exact timeline on an early-in-development game is very challenging. That said, we also want to be transparent with our community, so we will give you our best guess with the understanding that these plans may change. Grounded — кооперативный экшен с элементами выживания и видом от первого лица. Главные герои — уменьшенные дети, которые пытаются выжить на своем заднем дворе, столкнувшись с местной флорой и фауной. Вместе с другими игроками вы будете заниматься исследованием удивительного мира, строить убежище и пытаться выживать как можно дольше. Вы выступите против орд гигантских насекомых, используя оружие, которое можно создать из подручных средств.

Предыстория: Obsidian представила симулятор выживания Grounded Obsidian выпустит новую онлайн игру с элементами выживания Grounded в июле. Об этом стало известно в рамках презентации Inside Xbox.
Grounded выйдет в рамках «предварительной версии игры Xbox» (Xbox Game Preview) и по подписке Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 28 июля. Разработчики также представили новый трейлер одиночной кампании и еще один ролик с геймплеем и процессом разработки с комментариями геймдиректора Адама Бреннеке (Adam Brennecke).
Игра также выйдет в рамках раннего доступ в Steam 28 июля. Разработчики планируют активно слушать обратную связь от игроков.
