There are 2 new updates shown on our Roadmap – Multiplayer Challenges (released on September 30) and Weapons Upgrade (Q4).
The next major update of the game will be “Weapons Upgrade.”
1. The possibility of reloading the weapon manually.
2. You’ll be able to upgrade any fire weapon.
The available upgrade options include: flashlight, reflex sight, silencer, laser sight, extended clip, and more.
3. An improvement of the mechanics of movement, climbing, and collisions while holding the weapon.

With this new update, two people can now play in any of seven new “CHALLENGES” game modes. 🚀

With no light but a dim flashlight, make your way through the corridors that you once knew so well.
Do you still know them well?
You can’t see them, but they can kill you.
Unit Eta reports that no visible signs of monsters can be seen except for the shadows beneath them.
It takes a headshot to bring these down.
NO damage counts but brain damage. Aim for the head!
You have only one try.
Any damage will be lethal.
You can use only close combat weapons.
No guns, no ammo, no reloads.
Only pure RAGE!

Only handguns, and 12-gauge barrels allowed. Just like in the good old days.

My Quick Thoughts:
Death Horizon was in my TOP 3 games on the Oculus GO. It's now available on Quest with much improved gameplay mechanics and gameplay. This game can be spooky at times, the shooting mechanics are solid and the game has a really great atmosphere. In fact at times I felt like I was playing a Half Life game. Death Horizon is the perfect game for shooter and horror fans and my favorite type of genre in VR. Awesome stuff!

The Horizon scientific research center is a deceptively quiet place. When you came round, there were hundreds of the living dead all around you. All because of that damn T12 virus. You’ll need to complete all the laboratory levels and take down crowds of zombie-monsters. You have the best of American weaponry at your disposal. Choose for yourself how to fight the horde best – with a Deagle or a Shotgun?
To survive and save the world from the virus, use both hands and your head. Never stop shooting, pick up rounds, climb up pipes and ladders, jump onto bars and grab hold of ropes, search lockers and throw everything you find at the zombies. You’re free to choose whatever weapons and tactics you want. Prove your agility, imagination and accuracy. The denizens of the Horizon station will punish you for one thing: hesitation.

Now you can play through the campaign mode together with a friend! It’s always more fun to play with friends, right?
What’s new in this update:
- Added the mode of cooperative playing through campaign (co-op).
- Added localization in 7 languages - French, German, Latin American Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Russian, and Ukrainian.
- Added weapons racks in Save Rooms. Now it’s easier to select and change the weapon.
- Added animations on the screens with collectibles.
- Added the new animations of zombies.
- Optimized memory usage on the device to minimize potential bugs associated with the game freezing.
