Great start so far. The way the game was transfered over to the second game was not that bad. I will let you guys know however that if you liked BloodLust 1, it does NOT mean you will like this one. However, I can say that if you like vampire games and or vampire masquerade, then i'm sure you will like this game.

Through my playthrough, I have learned a few things that are different than the first BloodLust. First off, controls are slightly better but very DIFFERENT. Instead of using right click for a special power attack, whatever you used your scroll-wheel or 1,2,3,4, etc numbers, then right-click, then you will use that skill. I'm not used to holding a button in order to view my character and I miss my L button for minions. I am not sure as of right now if there is something similar to this. If you want to feed on someone without siring them, you can do so. Just stop the animation before it goes very low.

Now for quality and animations. Quality is indeed improved, but only in some areas. In other areas, they are actually worsened. Lighting was decent in BloodLust 1 but to me BloodLust 2's lighting just out right needs work. On my PC, it does not show what they are in the screenshots. Keep in mind, this is me on ultra.
The outfit that you first start off with, actually looks like it was made from Paint. The muscle shirt has very noticable fake zig-zags on the shirt and are very pixelated. Face is. just different I guess? I want to say it's slightly worse, but it isn't by much. Then again, you can barely see it. There are some areas in the world were it will look beautiful in a corner and then just bleh in the other.

Some small or large irks of mine:
- Character at the beginning looks chubby. Not muscles. I miss the BloodLust 1 weight that you had.
- Can't zoom in on your character when you're customizing.
- He may be a vampire, so I understand if he can jump higher, but it slightly needs to be dimmed down. Just a little.
- WRF needs to work on his clan Leader names. [The Giggler? Really?!] I like games that are serious when it comes to Vampires, but once in awhile it's an okay thing to do, but all the leader names have something odd. I think except one. I don't remember.
- The Wraith gets on my nerves. If possible, have a switch where you can enable him or not.
- I don't like the new skill system when it comes to classes. I hate being restricted on classes like this.

Improvements:
- Some animations were improved
- Voice improvments
- Landscape improvements
- UI Improvements
- Slight swordplay improvement
- Strong Interaction improvements
- Added Feed punishments
- Water improvement

Disinprovment:
- Chat interaction decline
- Lighting poor
- Most areas have very poor texture qualities (not all. Some actually MAJORILY improved)
- Jumping Animation (Much different than the last one, but to me the first game with the animations actually made sense. Jumping for his prey)
- Only one camera type (Should support Legacy mode. Meaning use the original game controls from BloodLust 1)
- You can actually see the stuff you equipped.

Pros:
* Good price
* Good skill system where there are several viable builds
* Enthralled minions actually do things for you
* Voiced characters
* Continued story
* Can see old characters from the first game

Cons
* Certain aspects of quality did improve, but the majority did not.
* Can get repetitive if dungeon crawlers are not your thing.
* Some animations are missing but they are being worked on at least!
* I hate to keep saying this, but something is up with the lighting.

I may add things to this list as I go on.

Just thought I might let you in on something. You probably already know this but you are running BloodLust 1 and 2 on a 32-bit .exe. Which means it'll only support up to 4GB of RAM. Perhapes make a 64-bit version with tons better graphics and such for those who can run it? Not sure if that's possible, but just an idea. I also suggest allowing Dx10 for those who want better quality too.

Title says it all. Is this, in its current state, better than the first game?

I went to the hotel and got in the elevator. Once I got off, I picked the lock on the door on my right. There was a guy inside that looks like the guy Picky Pete, but above his head it said "Null". When I hovered above him, it said "Use Null". When I clicked, he had items for sale, but they were much higher level than what I'd seen so far (I'm level 8). I attempted to sell him some things, but it said my inventory was full (which is weird). I wanted to see what the message was when I tried to buy something.

. after you beat the final boss? Is there any endgame to speak of?

Where is it and how do you get it? I can't proceed with main story.

Can the wraith spawn whilst inside a dungeon/sewers or is it just whilst exploring the city? This is the clincher for if I buy this game or not. If it just shows up in the city then its an interesting spook that doesnt do much harm. However if it can show up whilst several levels deep in a dungeon or just exploring around the sub-areas, therefore wiping out potentially hours of gameplay with no way to defend oneself then thats a deal breaker.
