Tried to read nbt tag that was too big tried to allocate ошибка minecraft

Обновлено: 03.07.2024

When you destroy a shulker containing stacked tools or other stacked things that have large nbt tags, your client disconnects from the server and displays this message:

reconnecting to the server loads the world as usual, but disconnects again after a fraction of a second in game. This results in a "quasi ban" and also affects everyone loading the area afterwards.

How to recreate:

1. Use something like NBT Explorer or the the "/more" command on a paper server with essentials installed to create a shulker full of stacked and enchanted items that you normally couldn`t stack. Now get that shulker into your creative saved toolbar.

2. Log into any minecraft server above 1.12.2.

3. Get the modified shulkerbox from your creative saved toolbar and place it on the ground.

4. Go into gamemode survival and break the Shulkerbox. After that you get kicked and get the error message. (no problem breaking it in creative)

So i was in the nether, trying to access a grave, when the game boots me out with error "Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.RuntimeExeption: Tried to read NBT tag that was too big: tried to allocate: 2097155bytes where max allowed: 2097152"

Now when ever i join, i see a completely xrayed version of the world (I only see void and the two waypoints in front of me) and then it boots me out with the same message

The only thing in my inventory is a death items list

Can someone help me as to how to fix this or what a moderator needs to do to unglitch my account?

Hello,
I checked if i did not see this error reported but i guess not :

Using modpack Direwolf20 1.12.2 - (v1.11)

Basically when you try to join a world, you are loading your playerdata.
Either you receive the data from the server you join, either it's loaded from your single player world save.

What happens here is when your playerdata is beeing loaded, minecraft attempts to load all the morphs you have previously acquired. When reading this it crashes the game because the NBT data tag is too big. (cfr report below) and disconnects you.

After poking around on the web, I managed to figure out a fix, it was actually all the morphs aquired from forestry butterflies.
Editding my playerdata file with NBTEdit revealed more than 300 subentries for the butterfly entity.

I simply deleted those from the NBT's of morph and managed to load my world again.

Since then, before leaving the game, everytime i delete every morph of butterfly i could be having in the morph list (ingame)

I am not sure what happened I was just flying through my base and all a sudden I get the error saying that it can not read NBT tag that was too big: tried to allocate 2097162bytes where max allowed: 2097152. I tried to run one of the backups that went threw and all the forestry items where bugged I had trees that were hives my Alveary where just logs, and then the apiary pipes and Apairy were just gone. I have attached my client logs.

If anyone could help that would be great I have gone through NBTExplore and could not find anything. I also can run this in single player but get lag spike constantly.
