Total war warhammer 2 как включить энциклопедию на пиратке

Seriously, that's one of my favorite features of any Total War game. I've spent hours and hours reading the many entries on the different encyclopedias in plenty of Total War games, and as a newcomer to warhammer fantasy, much of what I know about the lore, came from the encyclopedia from the first game.

But I can't access the same encyclopedia in the second game. Best I can do is right click on a unit to read their info, but that's about it. Nothing for the races, tech, lords, etc.

Really, is it a bug or what happens?

I can also only go to encyclopedia right clicking on a unit, but there is no way to do like in total warhammer I, where you could chose the race, and browse melee, ranged, artillery etc.

Now I can't even look at let's say skaven units if I am not playing them or I have an ia army to right click, wtf!?

I hope it's a bug or something they need to develop further / patch, otherwise for me it's a senseless downgrade from 1st.

Theres only encyclopedia entries for units now. Its not a bug.

But I agree. Add back entries for buildings and technologies! They were really interesting reads. Big up this.

Well, I do mainly miss not the buildings and technologies info, which was also nice, but the unit browser it had.

You could open the encyclopedia as you can with the spells, browse any race units freely, which were divided into melee, ranged, monsters etc. That was a true encyclopedia!

If they "downgraded" that feature, it really really sucks!

Well it certainly seems that way. Can't see why CA would set up a second site with that background and not intend to fill it out the same as the first game's.
It would be great then. I must say I seen that "coming soon" background when checking ingame's encyclopedia, so it's possible.

Hopefully will be tomorrow available with the workshop enabling etc.

Game is awesome - but this undeveloped encyclopedia, as well as the "not ready yet" adaptation from total warhammer 1 blood dlc to 2nd, are clear signs of rushing.

Nothing too bad, but for me it's a clear sign of that.

I can understand not releasing blood and gore dlc on release, for the rating problem, ok. Workshop too, for their reasons, like avoiding faction unlocked mods on release, stability or whatever.

But. an incomplete encyclopedia / downgraded one? Even if they patch it later? Did this game release in early access and I didn't notice? XD

Again not gamebreaking or worth a negative review (far from that) but despite being a more or less minor problem, it's a sign of a rushed game, and has no justification afaik.

I was patient with blood and gore, despite I didn't understand why, even if they have to adapt 1st game's blood and gore to second (animations, units etc) we have no date / it won't probably release tomorrow (1 week after launch, as workshop is intended to be).

But with the encyclopedia "coming soon" thingie, I find it rather abusive, to hold the parts of the game they didn't have time to release, and release em when they want.

Mortal empires is an exception because it was known before release (that would take weeks not months) and also cause it is a "crazy experiment" of joining both game's content.

But the encyclopedia not fully available on release? C'mon.
And Blood dlc when? Next month? Didn't you avoid the M rating not including it in base game / release day? Need more days to develop? Again, was this early access?

I need my complete encyclopedias entries naow godammit!

It surprisingly adds a lot of flavour and depth to the game, rather than just these random buildings and technology that you just click on that have a sentence long tooltip.

GraceCA (I believe she is the communtiry outrech person,) has posted the following exact post in multiple threads about this;

"Unlike previous game guides, most of the information and data for WH2 is readily available within the game’s UI panels. Rather than copying this information into a game guide format, we’ve created pages for characters, units and skills, because they require extended descriptions that don’t fit in UI panels. When you progress in a Total War game, the current game guide doesn’t update itself with new data. It shows inaccurate data that doesn’t factor in your progress, which can be confusing."

I can't make sense of what in her post has anything to do with the missing lore, anytime anyone asks for further clarifcation none is given.

So they created these horrid little UI textboxes that pop up when you go into the "help" section found in-game. And that has what to do with the building and technology description entries in the encyclopedia how exactly? It's got nothing to do with "updating progress", we just want the old descriptions back that were in game 1.

I think she's trying to skirt around saying "we have no plans to add building and technology descriptions into the encyclopedia" here.

Не в первой уже. На 7ке редко Ваха пиратская запускалась.

все эти годы я играл прекрасно на пиратских вахах после каждой обновы без проблем у меня 7 винда, только на нынешнем кряке не запустилась

мде у предыдущих пираток таких проблем не было, особенно требований винду 10
Раньше тоже были эти проблемы, там зависит не только от винды, а от сочетания винды и процессора. У меня например релиз пиратки с патчем с пиратами не работал на 7-ой винде, но пиратка с Громом и Пузаном работала.
