2019 в 11:44 Hello! Will there be Russian localization in the game? In Postal 2 she was a masterpiece We do plan on adding support for other languages. We'll be starting with just the subtitles, then we'll discuss implementing full localizations 18 окт.
-----
I'm pretty sure, it'll be possible to make a custom localization. Neither sure I the official localization will be made. The devs are making and publishing the game on their own, so they have to hire the appropriate stuff, like russian voicing actors and tranlators. I suppose they don't go along well with russians (let's remember Postal 3), so the only hope lasts on creative fans that would make magnificent voicing! 2019 в 14:29

Can someone try to explain to me why Russians have such an inability at learning English? English is a pretty simple language to learn. Is it really that difficult for you people?

Are they just too stubborn to bother learning a second language? A lot of Russians I have interacted with seemed to act as if Russian was the only language in existence and expected everyone to speak it lol.

And the dumbest response award goes to this guy. Well, it's the truth. Learn English and a lot of these problems are not relevant anymore.

I think Russians need to grow up and realise finally that English is an international language and Russian is not and never will be. The Cold War is over.

I see Russian travellers and tourists a lot and their inability to speak English really introduces barriers for them. Living in a German-speaking country, I do not expect them to really speak much German, but they should be able to speak English. Well. they usually don't either.

A lot of Americans I have interacted with seemed to act as if English was the only language in existence and expected everyone to speak it lol I'm not going to defend Americans, trust me.

However, English is an infinitely more utilised and understood language in most of the world than Russian. People in most EU countries can speak decent English (even better in the 'northern' EU countries). Russian just does not have that prestige. Very few people (relatively speaking) speak Russian as compared to English. Even less people speak German than Russian, but a large amount of German speakers (especially younger ones) also speak English.

In Austria (this also applies to Germany too for the most part), basically everyone under 25-30 can speak English at least at a conversational level. Most tourists here do not speak German, so English is obviously pretty useful. What happens then, when some random tourist from Russia speaks neither?

Russia is not EU country. There's that. It's not bad or god, it's just a different civilization. Deal with it. Oh, trust me, I know. Russia could never become an EU country even if they wanted to.

All Russian 'civilisation' comprises is basically people taking orders from their scumbag, corrupt government and living in fear of what could happen if they speak out. Russians learned well from the Mongols (Asian cultures are naturally good at terrorising their citizens and making them subservient) of how to run a police state and suppress individual freedoms.

Norway and Iceland are also not in the EU, yet both have some of the highest English proficiency in the world. A lot of it is about being educated.
