2014 в 4:26 Is there a way to remove the level cap?
I just reached the plains and I'm already level 26 o.O 19 фев. 2014 в 5:37 level cap is way past 26 last time i checked it was 40 but by the time you hit 35 the game becomes easy mode anyways.and what you will want is a way to make Enemies harder not a level cap remover. 19 фев. 2014 в 5:40 I guess I will be at 40 when I am through the DLCs and entering Rathir. so. I guess a level cap remover will do 19 фев. 2014 в 5:55 19 фев. 2014 в 5:56 19 фев. 2014 в 18:21

While there is no level cap remover per say- you can alter your player's level beyond forty and everything will scale accordingly. If you did this at forty it would be mostly fair I think.

You need a program that can edit the memory addresses of the game whilst you're playing it. The idea then is to gain levels while you search for the correct address for your level. Once you know the address you can change it at will. I'm not comfortable giving the name of the program to do this as it's led to bans and other unpleasant consquences in the past. But Google is your friend here and if you still can't find it I'm sure we can work something out.

There are two primary uses for this- one is setting you level to forty five, the highest value the game will display, prior to getting the Special Deliveries mission which will then spawn the Weapons & Armor downloadable content at level forty five. The second use is to level the enemies to level forty five. Each time you enter an area the enemies get locked at your level unless the level cap is lower than your current level. For example, the mines next to the starting village cap at level twelve. Even if you come back at a higher level the enemies will still be at what ever level you were when you first entered.

And what if I am level 40 and I set it to 1? Will I be able to gain more levels?

20 фев. 2014 в 1:11 And what if I am level 40 and I set it to 1? Will I be able to gain more levels?

Yes- as I've mentioned it can be used to get the downloadable content to spawn at their highest level. You can then reduce your level and play normally.

However, that's very early in the game. If you were doing this later you might also have to find the address of your current experience and lower that as well.

- Ryan Paul Fialcowitz Hm, alright. So I will skill to 39 and then find the level- and experience-adress and change them both to 1? :)

20 фев. 2014 в 1:20 Hm, alright. So I will skill to 39 and then find the level- and experience-adress and change them both to 1? :)

No, since you're already level forty you can't level and thus can't determine the correct memory address. You would need to make a new character and find the addresses there and then load the character you want to use and make the changes. Take note that the memory addresses change whenever you start the program- so you have to do all this in one sitting.

- Ryan Paul Fialcowitz Hm, I see. So I should to this at level 36 or something.

Nah, you just need to find the level and/or experience addresses. If you already level forty you can't on that character. But the addresses themselves will be the same no matter which character you use. They only change when you launch the game. So, as I said, just make a new character and find the addresses. Then you can use them on your primary character. Just don't quit the game and you'll be fine.

- Ryan Paul Fialcowitz I think you missed my point^^
But thanks for enlightening me :)

I guess so - what was your point? I think I missed it. . .

And as for a tutorial on how to do this I Googled Amalur Level Change and there was a video tutorial on the first page.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning

This was the major drawback of the original game and still here in the remaster. Why they did not increase the level cap to 60? 10 сен. 2020 в 6:18 Because the original game used tables that stopped at level 45 for all enemies, damage tables etc. The devs thought this was too much work to change. (see answer to just about anything else you ask). Why was it a draw back also you level up way slower now 10 сен. 2020 в 6:21 enemys drop less xp overall quests still give a bunch suppose best thing to do is just do the town centered missions and avoid the side dungeons 10 сен. 2020 в 6:55 also something else to note, it's possible to max out all skills in the game with level 40, I believe for whatever reason unless you spend all your points you can't finish locking in the skills Im assuming the DLC they have planned will increase it. also something else to note, it's possible to max out all skills in the game with level 40, I believe for whatever reason unless you spend all your points you can't finish locking in the skills 10 сен. 2020 в 7:40 also something else to note, it's possible to max out all skills in the game with level 40, I believe for whatever reason unless you spend all your points you can't finish locking in the skills What do you mean? There are skill books and trainers that increase your skills (not abilities). 10 сен. 2020 в 7:56 Why was it a draw back also you level up way slower now Am 3 hours into Re-Reckoning, have noticed it's a LOT longer / slower to level. 10 сен. 2020 в 8:39 I'm hoping that the level cap will increase when they issue next year's DLC. 10 сен. 2020 в 13:49 I don't understand why you'd want to increase the level cap personally.
There are no higher tiers of gear so your gear will be outleveled.
Its already possible to cap all your skill points.
And if you cheat you can give yourself extra abilities I suppose, though that just seems boring to me. 120 is plenty of points. I don't need more. 10 сен. 2020 в 18:36 I don't understand why you'd want to increase the level cap personally.

But if we multi class then we cannot get all the abilities of the said classes cuz of the level 40 cap. 10 сен. 2020 в 21:37 Not the highest level ones, but that is intentional. It is designed that way so there's a real choice between class and ''do it all'' 10 сен. 2020 в 22:04

And also, the high-level abilities from each tree aren't really all that great when you multi-class.
I'd only really want to use Celerity on a universalist class tbh.
And realistically, I'll get better damage out of Hammers & a something faster pairing than a greatsword.

The destinies significantly buff the damage out of every tree, but you also have to specialize your build a bit to really make use of the highest level abilities.

Meteor on a Warlord? Its soooo not worth it. Just swing your hammer and you'll do the same damage with no mana cost.
