Is this the extent of the damage? The hood barely gets wavy. I turned damage up to 100% but almost nothing on the car gets damaged.
I was hoping for a lot more. Doing 134 mph and T-boning a guy mid way through his turn, then being able to just drive off really ruins the immersion for me.
Yeah I spend hours trying to get it to work. Will give it a go tonight and report back 👍🏻

You use the rain app. Mighr have to enable it from CM Apps or AC Apps through cm.
You’ll need to manually turn on rain (set intensity and wiper speed) through the rain mod widget, unfortunately don’t know if there’s any way to do it automatically based on weather.

Assetto Corsa modders are just brilliant, they have essentially developed AC 2 without Kunos having to do anything.

That being said, boy are we lucky Ilja and Peter Boese (and many more modders) exist!
I was just telling someone the other day "Yeah, AC is cool, and has all of these cool mods, but nobody has done rain yet."
This is not the first attempt to creating rain. There were two mods some time ago, one of which is still used today (Wet Mod). Works only with SOL though.

God this is beautiful! This game is being pushed to its absolute limits and I love it.
I tested the green hell in the worst possible conditions: 100% rain/wet road/water on road with the lovely Porsche 911 R.
Man, that was hard. Puddles are super vicious and spin-outs are common as soon as your foot is a little too heavy on the throttle. I felt like a noob again.
Performance wise, on a big GPU (2080 Ti), no drop in FPS. I hope it will be the same with less powerful builds.
