Fallout tactics ошибка bos exe

So after todays recent update, I haven't been able to play the game at all. This morning I was playing it fine and came back later and updated the game and now whenever I start it up the following message is displayed: C:\dev\phoenic\display\directx7\dd7_display.cpp(715):**fatal error**: Could not create primary and back surfaces
Then after i click ok another error appears: Runtime Error! Program: . les(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FalloutTactics\BOS.exe abnormal program termination
Im not really sure what this means and how i should go about fixing this. I uninstalled and reinstalled and then restarted my computer but to no avail. So if anyone has any clues or knows of a solution that would be awsome.

I had the same issue, adding -w to the start parameters worked for me

Having same problem here. -w didn't help me either. Odd.

where did you type in the -w. into the launch options or somewhere else because when i put into the launch options nothing happened,

I have the same problem. Do you mean -w in the launch options? That didn't help me.

Hi Guys,
Try creating a short cut of BOS.exe and add -g at the end.
Here's an example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout Tactics\BOS.exe" -g
from now on you need to run the game from the short-cut though.
update:
once you change the video settings, you can run it from steam again.

We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

If you start it up and you see:
"C:\dev\phoenix\display\directx7\dd7_display.c99(715):**fatal error **: Could not create primary and back surfaces"
here's what you need to do.
1: Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout Tactics folder and create a Shortcut for BOS.exe
2: Move the shortcut to another folder or desktop
3: Right click the Shortcut and go to Properties
4: Under the Shortcut tab you should see Target and in the box the location of the BOS.exe in quotes.
5: At the end of the quotes put a space then -g
Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout Tactics\BOS.exe" -g
6: Run the game from the Shortcut
1. Run the game in windowed mode from Steam (for Windows 8).
2. Go to 'Options Screen' and click 'default' option once (lower left).
3. The window resolution should be downsized slightly but noticably.
4. Exit Options + exit the game regularily > default option gets saved.
5. Start the game normally. Change Resolution to your choice, 32 Bit. 8 мая. 2017 в 19:49 The following worked for me (Win 10) and has to be done only one time:

I had the same issue and called Dell Support for help (Bethseda suggested re-installation). The technician did exactly as in your procedure and now I am running the game with no runtime error.
