So I recently tried to play Forza Horizon 4 with a friend but couldn't, because it wouldn't connect to the server.
I tried to reset the app in the settings, but it then always says it couldn't reset the app and I should try again later.
I've the tried to uninstall it, but this just gave me the error with the code 0x80073cfa.

See if you can delete the file of Forza Horizon Demo from the WindowsApps folder to force a re download. Here's how:
1) Press Windows key + E
2) Go to this path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps
3) Locate Forza Horizon 4 Demo and delete it.
If for some reason you are unable to delete the file, I suggest using a third party app called unlocker to complete the deletion.
Download and install unlocker. Then navigate back to WindowsApps folder, right click and select unlocker. Under action, choose delete.
Then go back to Microsoft Store and see if it now needs to be re downloaded.
