I enjoyed playing the game so far, great characters, great story and world, but now that I have a lot of fighting to do, I kind of stopped having fun. It's probably just not the right game for me. I would love to see how the story continues, etc. though. So, yeah, don't hate me for asking, but are there cheats or something in the game, with which I could keep exploring and get the story, without the fights?

There aren't any cheats, but there a party member you can get at a little ways in (beginning of area 2) that are kinda OP when used correctly.

If you're wondering what that party member/strategy is: The party member is Birdie. He has a skill called "Gasoline Spit" which adds a status ailment to an enemy called "oily", which makes any fire attacks do SIGNIFICANTLY more damage, whether it's brad's fireballs skills, the "firebomb" items, or any other fire-based skills your party has (and there are quite a few). Gasoline spit also has a chance to blind, which is nice, but really just icing on the cake compared to how quickly you can burn down enemies with the skill plus 2-3 party members who can use fire attacks. Birdie also has a full-party heal skill, so that's another nice perk of his

He's located At the bar leading to the dojo/town in area 2, which you reach by entering the highest doorway at hub area 2.

To recruit him, you need to give him whisky. There's multiple ways to obtain this, though the easiest way is to buy an octopus doll at the shop at the nearby dojo/town, which can be traded for whisky to a guy standing right by that same shop.

If you aren't at Area 2 already though, then you'll have to tough it out a bit before that. There are still some strategies you can use if you're more desperate however, like using firebombs (they're limited, but you can find some early on, and they do some nice AoE damage) or using joy (also limited, but it makes a character super strong for a couple turns, by doubling their defenses and giving them a 100% crit rate). while there's no drawback to using firebombs (other than running out), Joy does lock you out of some small bonuses, which would be being unable to recruit one party member, and not seeing one small, but interesting scene just after the ending. Losing out on those is fairly minor though, especially compared to not playing the game at all, and personally, I tend to avoid joy even on runthroughs where I don't care about those bonuses for avoiding its use, cause Joy's so strong that it feels like cheating to me. Considering that, it may be just what you're looking for.

Режим боли (англ. Pain Mode) — дополнительная сложность в LISA: THE PAINFUL. Она рекомендуется для игроков, которые уже прошли обычный режим хотя бы раз. Режим боли включает в себя более сложных противников в виде дополнительного контента, которого нет в обычном режиме, взрывающихся воронов, новую зону и секретную концовку.

Сохранения [ ]

Самым заметным изменением режима являются сохранения — вороны будут взрываться сразу после использования, то есть независимо от того, сохранились вы или нет. Взрыв не наносит урона.

В режиме боли появились новые сражения с мини-боссами, а некоторые просто изменились:

В поле зоны 1 перед игровой площадкой переходе из первой зоны во вторую , сразу после костра, Сладкий Чай Раким сопровождается ещё одним, похожим, мужчиной, — ВЧР появляется мужчина с двумя пушками — ГолливудаХоук Голливуд заменён своей версией-мутантом — Хоуком;
Новый мутант Херб появляется в третьей зоне, в тоннеле к снежной горе.

В режиме боли игрок получает доступ к Концовка [ ]

Как и упоминалось, режим боли включает секретную концовку, которая перекроет концовку с или без радости. Если вы хотите получить достижения за эти концовки, то это следует делать в обычном режиме. Концовка за режим боли представляет собой новую катсцену после титров.
