Wyvern Gem is a Material type of Item in Monster Hunter World (MHW). These useful parts are gathered and collected by Hunters in order to improve their Equipment and performance out in the field.
Throughout a wyvern's life, impurities gather and form this peculiar gem.
How to get Wyvern Gem
This material can be obtained by completing Quests or defeating Monsters, or by melding it for 300 Research Points and 100 Meld points.

Одну штуку в неделю можно получить за первую перегрузку в паровой станции (обновляется это в ночь с четверга на пятницу, в 3 часа ночи по МСК).
Одну штуку в неделю можно получить за выполнение всех ограниченных заказов в ресурсном центре.
Несколько штук можно получить за выполнение "побочек" от НПС (на поимку рыбы и местной фауны). Но это уже "одноразовый" способ.
Иногда их раздают в качестве специального бонуса за вход.
Во время фестивалей две штуки в неделю можно получить за выполнение всех ограниченных заказов в ресурсном центре (в среду и воскресенье).
First Wyverians | Monster Hunter World Wiki
First Wyverians are NPC in Monster Hunter World (MHW). NPCs are non-playable characters that interact with the Hunter during the story or optional activities in game.
Mysterious members of the Wyvernian race, they appear as they please on the Hunter path to help them. Holders of great knowledge, often lost to humans, they may still hide some secrets awaiting to be discovered.

- The "web" covered First Wyverian offer information and statistics to the player, as well as items.
- The "beetle carapace" First Wyverian offer items.

, sector 10 in the cave where tailraiders often spawn , sector 11 in the large water area , sector 17 from camp 17 drop down to the mandragora mushroom, head right past the Godbug and look for the hole you can drop in to get to zone 6, should be aorund. , between sector 1 and 9 near a tree with a Hercudrome. , sector 5 west of the central camp on a small ledge above ground level , sector 11 in the cave with lots of nuts and stalagmites , sector 11 in the middle of the watery cave , sector 12 in the cave area behind the Gajalaka , sector 11 in the small area you can get to by climbing the vines in Central Camp (11) then jumping down. , sector 15 above the small Goldenfish pond , sector 2 on the east wall near the Barnos group. , sector 8 below the Eastern Camp, in the crystal area , sector 8 where you can jump down, next to a Gajalaka group
Backstory
The First Wyverians have been living in the New World since ancient times. They keep their faces hidden, so it's impossible to know their ages. While they give tips and item support to passing hunters, it seems that they are testing something. They have observed the Commission for a long time and learned human language. They judge things by a unique standard of values and are generally mysterious.

im only getting silver wyverian prints from helping lower ranks

For anyone still confused on how to get these, SOS flare categories have different chances to get certain items as a reward for helping lower rank peeps. It goes:
Assignments - Usually Gold Wyvernian Prints and sometimes Golden Eggs
Optional - Golden Eggs and sometimes Silver Wyvernian Prints (I'm not 100% sure here)
Investigations give you nothing.
I'm not too sure about the rest of the categories
Doing Assignments is your best bet for Gold Prints.

As someone in master rank, i seem to have a very high if not guaranteed chance to get a gold wyverian print when helping an sos flare against the A Wound And A Thirst assignment.

Hey fellas, my experience is that one will spawn in one of the pools in rotten Vale THAT HAS FISH. I found mine at the dead end of section 15, left pool. The luminescent spots on the fish is hardly seen with the pool glowing in the same hue. My assumption is that this fish will not spwan anywhere else but only one designated pool once the bounty is accepted. Good luck. Took me the entire midnight to ditch the guide above.

You can use these to meld monster gems (such as Xeno'jiiva gem) at the elder melder.
