хотел установить дрова на ноутбук (Radeon 9200 32mb, WinXP 32bit) но пишет во первых:
Setup did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system.
Setup will now exit.
Перевожу:
Программа установки не нашла драйвера совместимы с текущим оборудованием или операционной системы.
Установка будет завершена.
а после этого вот че пишет:
Setup was unable to complete the installation.
Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA
driver before running setup
перевожу:
Программа установки не может завершить установку.
Попробуйте установить видеоадаптер с стандартным VGA

Ошибка: Unable to load process monitor device driver при запуске Process Monitor
Process Monitor (сокращенно Procmon.exe или Procmon64.exe) - очень популярная утилита, которая имеет огромное количество различных функций и очень помогает в процессе использования ОС Windows, но при ее запуске, может появляться вот такая вот ошибка:

Если в этот момент посмотреть в просмотр событий, то увидим вот такую вот ошибку:

Исправляем ошибку
После того, как мы скачали Windows6.1-KB3033929-x64.msu, необходимо его запустить и дождаться окончания установки.
После окончания установки не забываем нажать кнопку "Перезагрузить сейчас"
После перезагрузки Process Monitor должен запускаться нормально, а ошибка исчезнуть.
I followed the most recent guide to set up HDK2 but when I run SteamVR I get
"Headset not detected" error. vrserver.txt says:
Unable to load driver osvr from C:\Program Files (x86)\OSVR\OSVR-SteamVR\osvr\bin\win64
Unable to load driver osvr because of error 103. Skipping.
System configuration
HDK2, Windows 7, Nvidia optimus, Current all-in-one beta installer and I also tried the most recent 1320 SteamVR-OSVR version - no success.

I renamed the old folder created by AIO at OSVR-SteamVR/osvr. I guess that counts as uninstall. I then placed the osvr folder from the latest 1320 there. So it's 1320 only, no interference. And I get 103 again.

Let's see if we can figure out if it's just missing a DLL file.
- Download Dependency Walker (it's free) and extract the files to the C:\Program Files (x86)\OSVR\OSVR-SteamVR\osvr\bin\win64 directory.
- Open a command prompt by holding down the Windows key on your keyboard and pressing the letter R. In the Run dialog box, type cmd and press Enter.
- At the command prompt, type: cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\OSVR\OSVR-SteamVR\osvr\bin\win64" and press Enter. The command prompt should change to C:\Program Files (x86)\OSVR\OSVR-SteamVR\osvr\bin\win64> .
- Type the following command and press Enter: depends.exe /c /f:1 /u:1 /ot:driver_osvr.txt driver_osvr.dll
- Open a Windows Explorer window and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\OSVR\OSVR-SteamVR\osvr\bin\win64 . Drag and drop the driver_osvr.txt file into this issue to attach it.

Indeed, d3dcompiler_47.dll and some other libraries appear to be missing. What is your suggestion on where to get those dlls? Google suggested Windows SDK, which I installed, but d3dcompiler_47.dll is still missing. Do I need to link the path somehow?

It does look like it might be missing d3dcompiler_47.dll .
This is shipped with Windows 8.1 by default, but not with Windows 7. We do include a copy in the installer, though, just not with the SteamVR-OSVR bundle, apparently—I'll have to look into fixing that.
You should be able to copy the d3dcompiler_47.dll file from D:\Program Files (x86)\OSVR\***\bin (where *** is SDK or Runtime ) to the D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers\osvr\bin\win32 folder. Similarly, copy the 64-bit version from D:\Program Files\OSVR\***\bin to . \osvr\bin\win64 .
If you used the AIO installer, you can find a copy of the file in the Program Files/OSVR-SampleScene/OSVR_SampleScene_Data/Plugins/ directory.
Error: Loading driver при обновлении биос

Только безбашенные пользователи могут решиться обновлять прошивку из-под Windows. Это раз. Кириллица в названиях папок и относительно длинный путь может привести к большому геморрою - это два.
И три (самое главное) - если всё работает и всё железо определяется, то за каким хером ты с обновлением лезешь? Что, сервис рядом и есть лишние деньги?
и далее покажите скрин окно программы и так ж кнопа Win+R → пишите dxdiag → жмите Ок и покажите скрин вкладки Система

Обновлять bios как и драйвера вообще не нужно, если это не требуется для поддержки новых устройств.
Обновляйте не из-под ОС, а в самом bios.
