The Public Test Server (or PTS for short) is a server that the devs use to test new content. Inside the PTS you will be able to test features coming in the next patch as well as being able to buy some items in the shop for free. Progress made in the PTS will not carry over to Live.

Some quick notes before you start

The public test servers are only open for a limited time when there is actually something to test. The old days of maining PTS are long since gone.
Things might not make it to the live servers, be overhauled or changed.
Values of recipes might be placeholders, especially costumes (no real reason to test that).
All personal progress made on PTS will not carry over to live.
PTS wipes happen, pulled a Ganda from a chest? Too bad.

Submitting a bug report on the forums

When you encounter a bug, be it game-breaking, be it item duplicating submit a post on the Trove forums. This decreases the chance of the bug actually ending up on the Live servers.

Reporting a Bug:

Search the forums to see if your issue has already been reported. If it has, add your comment to that thread. If it hasn't, make sure you post just one bug per report. A single thread with a generic title that lists a string of bugs is not going to be easy to track down and sort through.
Title your thread something related to the specifics of the bug you're reporting. Be specific.

As examples of helpful titles (not based on real bugs):

Bug - Throwing a bomb opens a Chaos Chest
Bug - Using the /dance command teleports me to the Hub

Time: When did this happen? Give as specific a timeframe as possible. If it's always bugged, that's helpful to, so you can just say that.
Context: Where did you find this bug? Was it in a specific biome? Which? A specific lair? Which? If the bug is with a costume, which specific costume? The more details you provide, the more quickly we'll be able to replicate the issue.
Expected: In one sentence what did you expect to happen? Example: I summoned my mount and expected to spawn Slow Sebastion.
Observed: In one sentence what happened instead? Example: My character threw a bomb.
Repro Steps: Is this bug something you can easily reproduce? If so, give us a list of steps to reproduce it, so we can jump right into the fixing stage.
Screenshots: Non-scaled, cropped as tightly as possible to the area of the screen highlighting the problem. You can post to a third party site and embed the image from that link here in the forums. Make sure that the image you post shows everything we need to see.

Bug Report Example:

Time: Friday, October 12th, at 3:30 PM GMT
Context: I pressed H to teleport back to the Hub after defeating the Daughter of the Moon
Expected: I expected to end up back in the Hub
Observed: Instead, I drank a potion.
Repro Steps:
1. Go to Shadow Tower.
2. Press H to teleport to Hub.
3. Watch as character drinks a potion.

Вчера стал доступен тестовый сервер Trove, там можно испробовать новые фишки и плюшки игры.
Чтобы зайти на PTS нужно в лаунчере Glyph выбрать PTS-EU, либо PTS-US.
PTS-EU - тестовый сервер в Европе.
PTS-US - тестовый сервер в Америке.
Вообще в Европе должен быть пинг меньше, чем в Америке, так что советую заходить туда.
При заходе в игру вам дается бесконечное количество кубитсов и кредитов, поэтому вы можете купить все что захотите, но даже не пытайтесь там нормально играть, так как все все равно исчезнет, потому что это тестовый сервер, а не игровой!
Выбрать сервер можно в правом верхнем углу Glyph.

Unlimited Funds

On the server, you will have unlimited Cubits and Credits (these will show up as 100k each, though the number will not decrease through purchases).

Though all players have unlimited funds on the server, not all items in the store are able to be purchased. For example, Chaos Chests are not allowed to be purchased as they may allow players to see what loot is in the chests for that week. Most packs are also blocked; however, Dragon Coins, Dragon Eggs, Mounts, Costumes, Wings, Flasks and Emblems and a few other items are all available. Some newly implemented packs that are not yet available on Live can also be purchased before the official release.

Я скупил всё в магазе - лвл 105.Просто дракона хочу протестить, а тут и паки нельзя некоторые покупать. И чаосы закрыли. В общем - ваши идеи.

Я не вижу смысла играть на птс сервере)
Куда интереснее играть на обычном сервере!
А если будешь следить за сайтом игры, поймешь, почему хаос честы и паки не доступны на ПТС сервере)) Очень большая нагрузка на сервера Glyph)

Комманда /exportaccount перенесет твои данные на птс сервер

Copy your character from live to PTS

Don't feel like starting over completely? The Devs got that covered too!

Make sure you have a PTS account!

Perform the following command on the LIVE servers:

A warning will appear, asking you to confirm the overwrite of your PTS account, click yes.

The bottom right will confirm the copy of your character from Live to PTS.

All you have to do now is login to PTS to check and TEST the new content.

So how do you play on PTS?

When our glorious dev team requires us to test stuff, we gain the following options:

1. Selecting the PTS-US option from your glyph launcher will actually be functional. Selecting it will initially download a huge file. But when the PTS servers open you can actually connect.

2. Trove Forums PTS discussions are opened. These will have the PTS patch notes, PTS updates and bug reports (see further down this section).
