При этом дата начала раннего доступа для "покупателей последней минуты" так и не называется.
Напоследок девелоперы обратились к новичкам в жанре MMO, порекомендовав им ознакомиться со спецаильным " New player guide " (содержит базовые сведения по SW:TOR, MMO и RPG) и релизным FAQ по возможности приобретения, оплаты и регистрации игры (для России там заявлены варианты Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, American Express).

Is the Digital Upgrade pack useful?
I ended up getting it. The VIP pass seemed useful and I just wanted preferred status.
Back at launch, with the free adaptive speeder and VIP pass, it was a no brainer. Now, with a bunch of free adaptive speeders being handed out and others available for peanuts on the GTN and being unlockable Legacy-wide, that side of things is of little merit (if you like the STAP model, there are a bunch of reskins). If you are still fairly new to the game, the VIP pass is useful, but once you can unlock the ship mailbox and GTN terminal, it is superseded. And of course in a couple of months there will be the strongholds, which will no doubt be the new crafting mule alt repository of choice.
You can either buy it or buy 450 cartel coins. Using Cartel Coins to unlock Rocket Boost (I think it costs 500 for it and both upgrades) is by far the best choice if you want preferred.
This should be obvious i guess, but money is money. I wonder, do you get those items in the mail to every current and newly created characters on your account?
And is it worth it today to buy this?

Yes, each toon gets this for all time.
Not going to lie, that is the only mount I ever use except on the single toon that has a couple nice ones. I got the digital CE when the game launched so I probably did get some use early on out of the other items.
But that mount, it just has my heart. Looks good with any outfit.
And back at launch, not having to spend credits on a mount was a very nice convenience. And before Strongholds the VIP lounge was a quick, quiet place to check the GTN and your cargo hold.
