21 авг. 2014 в 7:32 I'm trying to farm resources to establish a base, so I'm using my shovel, pickaxe, and Fireaxe often, but I need to repair them to stop them from breaking after long use. I know loot is random, but is there any place or type of loot container that has short iron pipes spawning often? 21 авг. 2014 в 7:44 Zombies and loot are random but both drop them. Best way to do it is to make them out of iron ingots. Check the wiki if you need help but break it down into forged iron then use the forged iron to make the short iron pipes. You should get 4 forged iron per ingot and 3 short iron pipes per forged iron so 12 short iron pipes if you do it that way. 21 авг. 2014 в 7:45
A/C Units respawn Iron Pipes regularly.
Toilets will give you one after they are destroyed with a pickaxe (I think Drinking Fountains, too).

13 дек. 2015 в 15:34 ah, kinda lame, RNG hasn't been kind enough to give me a wrench yet either I guess. So you have to rely on RNG in order to progress. bleh. If you are on Navezgane, don't forget that some of the POIs or the basic cabins have a Forge within the cabin.
If nothing else, this would bypass the RNG and having to get a bellows. I have such a cabin on one of my saves, if absolutely necessary I suppose I could look for the coordinates. I'm not sure if the POIs are randomly generated as well though, I believe they are, at least in terms of what they contain within.
You can find a short iron pipe almost anywhere in anything, although you mentioned the more likely places, and of course others mentioned harvesting with tools.

Народ, 40 день, все никак вдвоём схему бура найти не можем, подскажите места.
Искали на стройках, в гаражах, книжном, и магазине рабочих. Нигде нету:(
Никита, садишься на байк и объезжаешь всех торговцев на карте каждые пару дней (или 3 дня, не помню через сколько ассортимент у них обновляется)
How to get short iron pipe
One way of getting short iron pipe is by destroying certain built structures like this empty old sink in the image below.
Destroying it will give you some short iron pipes. There should be other items you can destroy to get them as well.
Apart from that, you can also craft short iron pipe if you have built a forge.
