Used as Currency

This item is used to buy items from a merchant.

Radiant Merchant

Found in the Trove Hub next to the Sun Goddess statue.

Open for a Radiant or Stellar Empowered Gem, Class Gem Key Fragment, Class Gem Key, or rarely a Prism of Light or Diamond Dragon Egg.

Open for a random item useful for forging. Rarely contains Megaflux Tanks.

Open for a guaranteed rare item from the normal chaos chest.

Radiant Sovereign | Trove Guide

Radiant Sovereign is a newer resource that players can collect in Trove and players who have been grinding up their Geode Mastery may be exposed to it for the first time.

The following guide will take you through everything you need to know about Radiant Sovereign and how to spend it wisely.

WHAT DO YOU GET USING RADIANT SOVEREIGNS?

Players will want to be smart about how they spend Radiant Sovereigns as this is a resource that players will not be able to farm regularly.

The following is a description of what each of the resources players will be able to collect and which I think are the most useful:

EMPOWERED GEM BOX

The Empowered Gem Box is by far the most valuable resource folks will want to obtain as they have the chance to drop Stellar Empowered Gems that players can use in order to power up their class to be powerful enough to clear end game content.

Empowered Gem Boxes may seem common, but in the end game players will find it more difficult to get good ones for their classes, especially if players are trying to micromanage stats in order to get the best stats out there.

I personally like using the Radiant Sovereign for Empowered Gems as players can also break down these Gems to ensure that they can ensure a Stellar drop from the Empowered Gem Boxes they craft with the Stellar Shards.

All-in-all if players already have the Gems that they want they can focus on something else to use their Radiant Sovereign on.

The Empowered Gem Box costs 1 Radiant Sovereign.

TITAN TREASURE

Titan Treasures are pretty useless and I would strongly recommend against using your Radiant Sovereign on them as they provide such a small yield of returns in comparison to the other rewards players can get for this resource.

Like seriously back in my day there was no such thing as gems, or everdark, PR didn't even go past 100, so I really have no idea how these things work 3 окт. 2016 в 17:17

and radiant/stellar equipment can also just drop like shadow level equipment.

just check the market (press U), upgrading your items isn't that expensive anymore.

twice-forged shadow souls -> less then 15 flux each.
thrice-forged shadow souls -> less then 300 flux each.
quad-forged shadow souls -> less then 2300 flux each.
even penta-forged shadow are most of the time between 9-10k flux each.
eye of q'bthulhu aren't that expensive either.

farm neon city recipes for example, sell them over the market, and use the flux to "power up".

HOW DO YOU GET RADIANT SOVEREIGN?

Radiant Sovereign is a resource players can collect by leveling up their regular Mastery as well as their Geode Mastery.

For the most part players will be collecting Radiant Sovereign by levelling up their Mastery.

Hello everyone, This guide contains lots of information on how to craft radiant weapons, faces, or hats in trove! It also includes all the resources you will need to craft Forged Souls, and some stratagies I may have.

Things you should know before reading this guide are when you place a shadow item into the forge and upgrade it, it will raise the star bar by one star. Your item needs to have 5 stars on it before you are able to upgrade it to the next tier. Now if you want to collect a forged soul of any kind you have to salvage a shadow level item of its respecting level: Shadow level 2 for Twice Forged, Shadow level 3 for Thrice Forged, Shadow level 4 for Quad Forged, Shadow level 5 for Penta Forged.

Damn, this is making me nostalgic for the times before Mantle of Power. This guide is old but still may apply to current gameplay.

Olego is right, since you're not taking it into consideration, your calculations are wrong.

You need "3" items of previous tier to go to the next. And so for making thrice: 2 twice-forged, S2 upgraded to 5 stars. So 3xTwice+cost of 5 star upgrade(5*150).

The real cost for all above thrice, assuming you upgrade from shadow 0 every time:

Thrice: 3375f
Quad: 12125f
Penta: 36375f.
Radiant: 145500f.

Is it me got something wrong, or there's an error. Look: To make |2 Twice-forged| you need |2 Shadow (0 stars) items| + |875 flux x2|. Then, you need item which will be upgraded to 3. So, you need to upgrade it to level 2 (5 stars). This means you need 875 flux (to get it to level 2 (0 stars)), + 750 flux (to get it to level 2 (5 stars)). Then you'd have it. Shadow item level 3. Now you can deconstruct it to get 1 Thrice-forged. Let's calculate how much flux it took. 875 x 2 + 875 + 750 = 3375. 3375 flux just to get one Thrice-forged. And in your guide it says that you need 2500 flux to get one Thrice-forged. Even if you get 400 flux for deconstructing Shadow level 3 item, and 100 flux + 100 flux for deconstructing 2 Shadow Level 2 items, it's still 3375 - 400 - 100 -100 = 2775 flux.

I guess if there's a mistake at Thrice-forged, there is mistakes at other ones.

It's like you calculated without including in price of leveling third item from 0 star level 1 to 5 star level 2.

HOW DO YOU USE RADIANT SOVEREIGNS?

Radiant Sovereigns require players to meet up with the Radiant Merchant who can be found in the main player Hub.

Although quite difficult to locate without assistance, players can find the Radiant Merchant directly in front of them in the Hub on the right hand side of the character for the season.

This places the Radiant Merchant close to the South West.
