Сегодня я решил сделать небольшой обзор по очередной игре на выживание, на далеких планетах, а именно Planet Nomads.
Это у нас сюжетная выживалка на огромной планете после крушения корабля терраформеров. Вы единственный кто спасся в спасательной капсуле. Ваша первая задача - это разыскать куда ж делись остальные члены экипажа.
С этой целью Вам предстоит обследовать ближайшие обломки корабля, что б выяснить, что выжили не только Вы один.
Для выживания вы получаете маленький 3D принтер, с набором базовых функций.
Но далеко на этом принтере не уедешь и вы должны строить базу и исследовать планету, а заодно и искать членов экипажа.
По сюжету Вас ведут записи и задания в Журнале.
Тут можно просмотреть всю информацию о мире, об исследованиях, описание предметов и ресурсов.
До этого кстати инфа эта была куда скуднее, да и сюжет особым смыслом не радовал, все же не зря проходили обновления.
При этом не требовалось выполнять цепочки заданий, что б открыть начальные возможности, да и процесс выживания проходил как то проще.
Хотя виды планеты оставили такими же красивыми.
Кстати как ни копался, но магазина так и не нашел в игре, как не нашел и готовых чертежей строений и механизмов, как это часто бывает в подобных играх.
Строить все придется самому из деталей или просто строительных блоков.
Меню строительства на первых этапах не блещет разнообразием. Новые блоки и детали открываются только после постройки предыдущих. Я все же думаю, что строительство в данной игре реализовано очень хорошо, хотя часто приходится строить старым добрым Майнкрафтовским способом, а именно из кубиков и треугольничков.
,то приводит к тому, что к строительству механизмов приходится подходить наиболее вдумчиво, что б не получить какую то кракозябу, да еще и не функциональную.
Что скажу по теме.
В 2012 переработано много из сюжетной части, по меньшей мере тема обелисков идет с самого начала.
Более жесткая тема выживания, хотя может просто переработаны уровни сложности игры.
По графике, доработаны растения, хотя по прежнему остаются какими то угловатыми или плоскими.
доработано, в сторону красивости дерево исследований.
В остальном все осталось по прежнему.
Игру ради обзора начал заново, специально для тех кто только собирается обратить свое внимание на эту игру. Значимые действия буду снимать и выкладывать в виде коротких видео.

Survival

We've just released an update that fixes issues with teleporting (your were loading inside the last used teleport instead of the correct place).
- fixed spawning in Teleport after loading the game
- fixed Teleport icon in Radial Menu
- added automatic turn off of Teleport after use
- added workaround for missing final monument in some games
- reduced shaking of objects on Hover Jack
There is now the 1.0.7.2 update available in the Experimental branch.
There are some Teleport fixes and improvements, mainly the bug that loaded you errorneously inside the last used teleport was fixed.
We've also decided to turn off the (source) teleport after a successful transmission, so your batteries will keep charged, and you can still teleport back to the (disabled) device anyway.
There is also an unpleasant bug that prevents the final monument from being generated during the game inicialization and that make games unfinishable. It's just at some rare occasions that we do not know exaclty, but there is now a workaround to generate the final monument additionally, so you should be able to finish your old incomplete games now.
Day 17
Things have changed radically since my crash-landing. During the first days, I was hardly able to get food. Securing every meal was a life or death struggle back then, while now I have greenhouses to produce food for me. The planet felt strangely Earth-like at first, with atmosphere composition close enough to ours so that the suit filters have no problem processing it for me to breath. Then one day I saw a pack of creatures that looked like some kind of armored gorillas. I was watching them for a while when the biggest one saw me. Exploration
You may have explored your immediate surrounding, but a couple kilometers North or South, things are radically different. Multiple biomes cover the planet from pole to pole depending on the climate. Sandy engine blends the biomes naturally, making sure the journey to the North pole is an epic and everchanging adventure.
Day 21
I have a good thing going. I started growing all of my food. I've built a rover and use it to collect resources from nearby mining spots I set up. It's beautiful out here, but it's not like I intend to settle down and grow old. I'm a building a much bigger version of the rover now. With some clever design choices I should be able to fit it with a generator, 3D printer and stasis chamber so it's all self-reliable and caring to all my needs. I intend to check what's beyond the horizon. Maybe there's a way out. Maybe there are other survivors out there.Building
Building is the cornerstone of Planet Nomads. What you build determines your survival chances and increases your action radius. Building helps you to progress further and uncover advanced materials. Close to a hundred blocks await to let you create nearly anything your imagination can come up with.
Day 26
There was an unexpected turn of events today. The armored gorillas paid me a visit. I don't think they like the mining machines that much so they came to tell me. I thought I could hide inside the base and wait it out, but the beasts started throwing huge rocks at the walls and the walls were caving in with a screeching noise all around me. I fired up the one mining machine I have in my base to serve as a distraction. Luckily enough I scheduled a test run of my new mobile base for this day. It was standing by all powered up and ready. I made a run for it, quickly got into the cockpit and got away this time. But there's no going back now. I'm a Nomad.
